Springlight is ThunderClan’s current medicine cat, and after the events of Drizzlecloud’s resignation that have left her thus, she is not looking for a medicine cat apprentice at the moment.

She has excellent knowledge and experience in dealing with wounds and broken limbs, having dealt almost exclusively with those during her apprenticeship. Her knowledge on illnesses is vast and she can most likely easily pinpoint most illnesses, but might struggle with extremely rare or lesser known ones due to having never heard of them or having encountered them, with the former being the more likely scenario. Springlight’s priority is the clan's overall physical health. If a cat is not ill or injured, however, they are not welcome in her den—unless they are there to give her knowledge of a herb she doesn't know about or to bring someone in, nothing else. This includes pregnant cats about to give birth, as she believes kits should not be born in a den so exposed to illness.

However, she may not be forgiving of those whose reckless actions lead to a depletion of her herb supply. While she is unlikely to deny or lesson treatment, repeat offenders may find that she is less inclined to continue wasting her herbs on them—she believes in the greater good over a single individual, including herself. That being said, please keep in mind that while she is inventive and thinks outside the box, she is still a cat, and has limitations in what she can and cannot do. If you have an idea for a plot that would require her learning a new herb, I am never opposed to the idea! Just remember that there might be side effects that might permanently affect your character if the illness is too dire or a plot goes on for too long, so feel free to PM me first so we can brainstorm some chaos together. If you ever have any questions on what she can or cannot handle, also feel free to VM me or PM me before moving on with an illness or wound plot and I will be happy to let you know what she can do for your character under the circumstances presented!

Guidelines

○ Springlight has a SEMI-CLOSED den policy. Please fill out a form before posting in the medicine den! Once the form is filled, you have to wait for me to accept it unless it is incredibly dire, it helps keep the den from being overswarmed with roleplays. All because I am saying this, anyone injured is still welcome into her den. The form is for me to know what she is dealing with!

○ If looking for a social call with your character, please VM me beforehand, as I am consistently drowning in roleplays and tend to unfortunately have no time for personal roleplays as far as Springlight is concerned!

○ Springlight can participate in birthing roleplays, but she will do so at the nursery. Queens coming over to the medicine cat's den to give birth will be directed towards the nursery with very rare exceptions. Please note, however, that outside of offering a stick for them to bite on, she will not do much as it is much more common for another queen to assist in a kitting unless something is going wrong. Also, please note that I will only accept if I wish to have Springlight participate, I have my right to decline these sort of roleplays if I wish.

○ Bumping is okay and preferred every 48-72 hours, I know it can be frustrating to have your character out of commission for a bit but know that I will get to it as soon as possible. I am a human being, after all.

○ Please refrain from making post in the medicine den without permission, Springlight is likely to have a queen gather kits or shuffle your character out of the den herself. In addition to this, random post clutter the thread and make it difficult for me to deem what is relevant and what is not.

Healing Guidelines

My comfortability with roleplaying each type of wound is rated on a scale of 1-10 below, with 1 being absolutely not, 5 being a neutral or a preference not to but a willingness to do so if needed, and 10 being totally comfortable with it.

Small/Seasonal/Basic Wounds
• Any kind [10/10 - I would be totally comfortable roleplaying these]

Moderate Wounds
• No gore described to a mild descriptions of gore [10/10 - I would be totally comfortable roleplaying these]
• Moderate descriptions of gore [10/10 - I would be totally comfortable roleplaying these]
• Clearly described gore or greatly detailed description of gore [10/10 - I would be totally comfortable roleplaying these]

Severe Wounds
• No gore described to a mild descriptions of gore [10/10 - I would be totally comfortable roleplaying these]
