It was the first time Lynxshade had the honor of organizing patrols, even though it'd been already some time since she'd been enforcer. She knew it was often Hawkbite's job, but she wanted to be more useful and keep herself up to her rank.

Unfortunately, this also meant that she would probably have to punish some cats in the end. It was bound to happen at every round of patrols, that she knew very well by now.

Badgerstripe ( @Honey Bee ), I want you to hunt in Shadowclan Territory with Honeyspot ( @f0rg0tt3n_v0id ) and Batpaw ( @silver. ).

Basilwisp ( @ramen ) , please take Silkpaw ( @Abyssopelagic ) and Finchpaw ( @Epiales ) to the Icy Heartlands. If a quick hunting lesson is needed, please give it. (OOC: you have one day more to complete your patrol.)

Wolfhowl ( @DragonloverWV ), Briarsplash ( @squidz ) and Lionpaw ( @Ladiebugg ) will go to Shadow's Break.

Whiterose ( @elaif ), lead Chestnutfeather ( @appariitiion ) and Suncloud ( @Fernwillow ) to the Morning Ruins.

Finally, I want Thrushdawn ( @MaplestrikeWCUE ), Floodpaw ( @Spider-in-the-corner ) and Russetpaw ( @IDIOTICBEAN101 ) to head toward Croaking Swamp.

"As you all are already aware, Dawnstar has worsened Shadowclan's punishments for those who don't complete and report the patrols they're assigned to. If you don't want to get exiled, or worse, do your duty and everything will be fine. Despite the recent failures and the current sourness in Shadowclan's high ranks about these duties, I still have faith that you can complete the duties you grew up beside."

With a flick of her tail, she dismissed all of the cats.

In case your patrolmates don't show up within 3 days from this post, you are allowed to go on without them. Just make sure to report their absence to me in the end.

Very well. It was time to go and patrol all the borders. Sometimes Lynxshade wondered whether it was more important to hunt or to defend their borders, but the answer seemed way too obvious: neither of them could be overlooked. Alright, let's choose another bunch of them. She sat down and began calling her clanmates, remembering that Mistlewhisker had asked her to go on one.

"Mistlewhisker!" ( @Mica ) She called her fellow Enforcer as the leading cat for this one. "Please, take Birdpaw (Mica), Lostspark ( @Rose ) and Magpiepaw ( @Marigoldwhisper ) to the Herondive Hollow. And of course, keep out of trouble. We never know what those squirrel-eaters have in mind."

"Redrobin ( @paris ), lead the patrol with Tuftedtusk ( @Aroogi ) and Mirepaw ( @taillow ) to Saltmeadow Marsh."

"Finally, I want Fallenmoon ( @SeonghwasBunnyEars ), Midnightpaw ( @Omari ) and Deadstone ( @Zei ) to go to the Whispering Wetlands. Everything should be peaceful there, but keep your eyes open anyway. We never know what we might find out there."

Well, organizing patrols wasn't as hard as she'd thought. Just tiring, that's all. Despite this, she enjoyed the job and hoped she could do more of it in the future. For now, let's just hope everyone comes back alright.

Ah, yes, the familiar annoyance of being sent on patrol. Padding to the patrol place, the young tom takes a seat and keeps an eye out for his patrol mates, eyes narrowed as if that alone would will them to appear. If they didn't? Well, he supposes he would have to make do on his own.

Briarsplash came at Lynxshade's call and waited to hear her name. She enjoyed going on patrols — it made her feel useful in a Clan where it felt like everyday, everyone was fighting to prove their honor and worth. She was determined to match hers.

The large warrior fluffed out her fur as she scanned the area, looking for the two names mentioned. Padding over to them, she dipped her head in greeting. "Ready when you are," Briarsplash meowed in her gentle voice, surprisingly soft for a she-cat as big and gruff as her.

FloodPaw walked up happy for the patrol but she really could not hunt she had yet to learn it all from loonbay but maybe they could teach her some tricks "Hey!! what are we going to do? Are we going hunting? or are we going on a border patrol?" FloodPaw asked many questions and being annoying

Russetpaw stood with their patrol group, listening to Floodpaw's questions. They wanted to know too since they hadn't had... well, they had zero training so far. Their mentor was planning on it soon though, they were sure. They kept quiet, but their eagerness was obvious, as they couldn't stop twitching.
