Welcome to Character of the Month, a feature designed to recognize two characters who deserve kudos!

Using the form found at the bottom of this post, you may nominate two Main Roleplay characters you think deserved to be featured! Please use one form per character - they should not be in the same form.

For the sake of giving every character a chance, avoid nominating cats who have already been nominated for the month.

Nominations will be held for approximately 3 weeks, ending on the 22nd. Once it ends, a poll will be posted displaying the names of the characters who qualify for voting.

Users can vote for as many characters as they want to be recognize, provided it is not their own character. It is discouraged to vote for every character listed, as only two will win.

If two characters have the most votes, but they are roleplayed by the same person, the winner will be picked by staff based on the nomination reasons, and the second winner will default to the next highest vote.

The voting period will end on the last day of the month, and the results will be posted on the 1st of the new month.

Members who have nominated a character will have their username added to a raffle at the end of the nomination period. Three lucky members will be rolled by the staff team and receive 2,500 Koins! Previous winners will be eligible to win again after three months.

Before you nominate, please keep these in mind.

• Characters should have been roleplayed within the last two weeks of being nominated to avoid inactive characters being featured.
• You may not nominate your own characters, or advertise your characters to gain nominations.
• Characters used to violate a roleplay rule cannot be voted for the month they broke the guideline. They will be omitted from the final polling.
• Nominations must include an explanation of why the character deserves recognition. Posts that do not provide a reasoning will be removed. Additionally, be thorough in your evaluation of the character. Vague or thoughtless statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded. We want to know why you think this cat deserves attention!
• You may nominate two characters, but avoid nominating characters who have already been nominated.
• A character who has won before may be nominated only after 6 months.

Why should this character be featured?: Its muddy!!! I love mudhound so much, they're such a well-written character!! They're goofy and kind and sweet and so so silly!! I love mud so much and they deserve cotm!!

Why should this character be featured?: The snack that smiles back!! Goldie is one of the most amazing characters i have seen, shes written so well, with a backstory that has some trauma [ovi] and blaze does such a good job of roleplaying goldie!!

Why should this character be featured?: omg. Softdaisy is way too amazing! She cares for her sisters kits like their her own. She cares about the kit's so much. I just love seeing all her posts. Rose does an amazing job role-playing her.

Why should this character be featured?: I’m so happy I can finally nominate this kitty! MagpiePaws attitude is so entertaining to read and I love following any roleplay she’s in! Marigoldwhisper writes her perfectly, really showing the cat that this little silly is perfectly. MagpiePaw shows her dedication to her clan through her sassy yet determined I’m-too-good-for-you attitude and I’m truest thrilled too see where this character goes in the future!

Why should this character be featured?: Don´t get me wrong, one of my character´s doesn´t like Redmire´s temper. But personally, I love this hot-headed girl! Dino does an amazing job with Redmire, and I´m glad that one of my RiverClan cats has had the chance to interact with her. Redmire is a girl boss, honestly, and she deserves this nomination! I can´t wait to see more of this girly in the future!

Why should this character be featured?: I absolutely adore this gal! Berrypaw is so sweet and caring, and she's always doing her best. Mistyshard abandoned her, and Berrypaw has done an amazing job as RiverClan´s sole medicine cat / medicine cat apprentice. I truly hope that whoever is appointed as RiverClan´s medicine cat trains Berrypaw well, and I can't wait to see how Berrypaw reacts to whoever is chosen. squidz, keep up the good work with her!

Why should this character be featured?: I don't know what she was like last December as an apprentice, but Springlight now seems to be the embodiment of hope. She's been beaten down and sent on her own unexpected path through the wilderness after the owl attack but manages herself so well in spite of this major event. Springlight navigates grief, pain, and fear so that she might offer whatever light she can muster for those she thinks needs it more. Iliri herself is great to be around. The way Iliri writes the world around Springlight just sort of wraps you in a sense of calm (once the terror of 10+ full-bodied paragraphs finally wears off).

Why should this character be featured?: I've never personally roleplayed with this character, or this person, but I fell down a rabbithole and... Maggotpaw is so entertaining. The very first thing I read from anything of this character was: "You are mean and the worst and I hate you." And I was captivated. This cat's sense of humor is so up my alley that I'm about to hustle over to Nyme's page and demand (politely request) to meet it! If you like weird little goblins who get your head to tilt and your face to scrunch up in a near-permanent "what did this thing just say?" I HIGHLY recommend getting to know this character! Nyme hustles, and I mean hustles. So many characters, so many unique personalities, and SO many words. I don't know how they do it, but they do, and I commend them for it.

Why should this character be featured?: It's clear TanghuluCat puts a lot of thought into Brokenstream posts, he's one of my favourite characters to read since his posts are always well thought out and interesting. His personality feels genuine and real, which is always a great thing to see, and since becoming a Lionheart recently, he's really proved himself worthy of the role.

Why should this character be featured?: Literally fell in love with this awesome character the moment I had my own character interact! Though Firepaw was a character made with no prior plans, Lil'Ember has done such a great job developing this amazing cat's personality, even sneaking in some angst in the way! I also LOVE their writing style, I'm always dying to know more about what's going on in that bubbly former kittypet's mind! ^^

Why should this character be featured?: Absolutely adore this character, I'm a sucker for mean cats! And Kix roleplays this character really well, making it very easy to understand the character's intent and meaning behind their words. Such an interesting character, and even after only roleplaying with them for 1 post, I believe they deserve a nomination!

Why should this character be featured?: Look, I'm not saying this just because this character is my character's sister. I'm genuinely so in love with Shadepaw, she's such a unique character and Snowflake does so well in writing out her internal struggles and emotions. Shadepaw is such a pleasure to interact with (OOC probably, IC, not so much for my boy LMAO) and I can't wait to see what Shadepaw has yet to face in her life. :]
