Last meeting hadn't produced any apprentices at all. Usually there were at least one or two, but if Bumblestar was calculating things right, she didn't think there would be any this meeting either unless she intervened. So intervene she would, at the expense of some poor unsuspecting soul in the clearing.

Sorry, Risingstorm. You're the first one to have caught her eye.

Tail swishing behind her, Bumblestar stuck her nose into the nursery. "Hey! There's a RiverClan spy in our clearing and I need all of your help to go drive him out!" She jabbed a paw in Risingstorm's [ @Spider. ] direction. "If you wanna be apprenticed early, go take him out!"

[ Any kits who attempt to divebomb Risingstorm will be able to skip the post + time requirements and will be apprenticed during the next meeting, provided they're capable of walking/speaking and actually actively try. ]

Risingstorm got pounced on by the kitten waking him up saying he's a Riverclan spy what? he was still half asleep before being attacked again this time he jumped to his feet bewildered

Fireflykit heard the call. She saw the cat sleeping in the clearing. The nerve! "GET OUT YOU INTRUDER!" She practically fell on the intruder, biting their ankles, but not piercing flesh, just enough to bruise and hurt. Of course, she was biting with all her kitten strength, but that wasn't too hard at all.

Now, Peachkit won't necessarily qualify for an early apprenticeship since he's already getting big enough that a place in the apprentice's den should await him in the immediate future, but Bumblestar's just issued orders to attack a Riverclan Spy(TM) and, well, he'd be remiss to pass up on such an opportunity to prove himself!

It looks like this dastardly fiend is playing at the ol' 'wahh I'm harmless and asleep' schtick. Tch! Peachkit's onto you, buddy. Peachkit and probably a whoooole lot more kittens, soon—there goes little Chasmkit, already givin' it to him. Go Chasmkit! Go Mothkit! Go Fireflykit, go!!

Here lies Risingstorm, buried in fluff.

Peachkit bowls on up to the scene to try and hold the Totally Serious Threat still by his tail so the others can get their licks in. Also because he thinks he's slick, attacking others by the tail when he has none of his own. Take that, tail-havers. Nub supremacy.

"He's probably a big liar, don't trust whatever he says!" Peachkit warns.

Peaceful dozing was interrupted rudely when Bumblestar shoved her head into the nice and QUIET den, shouting about some RiverClan spy or whatever. Like, okay??? Why are you yelling for the kits to do something shouldn't you handle an intruder yourself??? And then he got up and saw she was actually pointing at Risingstorm and he was even more confused because no?? That's not a RiverClan spy??? That's literally Risingstorm, he got his name when Hollow was like... just barely two.

Had Bumblestar gone mad? Finally cracked under the pressure or something? Brows creased together in confusion, the brown tabby tom steps in close to Bumblestar and motions for her to lean down so he can tell her something. Assuming she does, he hisses in her ear, "I don' mean to alarm you, but that's not a RiverClan spy, that's actually jus' Risingstorm. Have you been gettin' enough sleep?" The last part comes out maybe just a tad more patronizing than a kit should ever speak to an adult, but hey, Hollow doesn't really care.

Chasmkit was not sure if she wanted to be apprenticed at one moon old. Her family was missing and 'non-existent'. She was enjoying her kithood.

The extremely young cat pounced on Risingstorm's tail, biting it hard. Chasmkit ran to his head and headbutted it.
