Hello, lovely members of WCO! I am hosting a design competition for an OC who I hope will someday join this site: Berrykit!

INTRO

For those who don't know, a design competition is where the artists design a character based on a description provided by the host (me). There will be some design traits they must include, but they'll still have a lot of creative freedom. I'll pick whichever one I like the most and use it for the OC. There will also be KK rewards:

1st place will get 50,000 KK.

2nd place will get 30,000 KK.

3rd place will get 10,000 KK.

Every other participant will get 5,000 KK.

DESCRIPTION

Here is Berrykit's description!

 

Berrykit is a ThunderClan kit (yes, I know there's already another Berrykit; I'm hoping to have her join when there isn't one, but keep in mind that her name could potentially change). I'm not sure what her warrior name will be yet. She's born a she-cat and will become genderfluid later in life. As a kit, she'll be happy, excitable, bouncy, and full of energy! She'll mature as she gets older, though I don't have a complete grasp of her personality just yet. I'm hoping for her to grow up in a happy family, but in the wild, there's always potential for trauma...

 

Body Type: Berrykit is small for her age with a round build. She's also quite pudgy. I'd like her to not have a short tail.

Fur Type: Thick, soft, and fluffy, though I'm unsure of its length. Anywhere between short and semi-long is good with me. Please don't make it too long.

Fur Coloring: This is where a major part of the "design" aspect comes in.

Berrykit is a tortoiseshell who is covered in large patches of brown and black. Little bits of orange are scattered here and there. She also has spotted tabby markings that are visible on top of every color. They correspond with the color they're on (ex. on the brown, they'll be a darker brown; on the orange, they'll be a darker orange; for the black, you can choose whether to make them darker or lighter; they do not show up on the white). She also has minimal white markings. They'd primarily be located on her underside, but you can also choose to scatter them here and there. Minimal white spotting would also be cool...

Eye Details: Cute, large, round eyes!

Eye Coloring: No clue!

Scars/Deformities: None yet! Please do not draw her with any.

Other: Cute pink nose :3

Great! Now that you know what you're supposed to be doing, here are some rules you must follow!

- Try to go off of the details I’ve provided. However, if there are things you want to alter, go for it! And everything not specified is fair game.

- Although I'm not asking for a 100% genetically accurate cat, please refrain from anything extremely unrealistic (ex. purple/red eyes).

- Your drawing must be your own. No bases, please. Commissioning another artist to do it instead or tracing will result in an immediate disqualification.

- It must be a fullbody!

- The deadline is May 4th, 2024 (a month from now). No extensions allowed.

- Make sure to notify me when your drawing is done!
