"Unless you're newly made apprentices, I want all apprentices to come with me to the training cliffs, it's time to test your battle prowess." Dawnstar knew that some ShadowClan apprentices could fight better than even some of the clan's warriors. Dawnstar prided ShadowClan on their ability to fight and be utterly ruthless in battle. She already tested the warriors and knew which weaklings to keep an eye on, it was time to do the same with the apprentices.

The leader led the way to the training cliffs, she still hasn't had any reason to toss any apprentice off the cliffside yet, hmm.... maybe today would change that! The clan leader turned her as she made her near the edge of the cliff and took a seat, drapping her tail over the edge of the cliff, and waited for the apprentices to show up.

This is for APPRENTICES only.
Dawnstar's just going to pair some apprentices up and see how well they fare against each other. She might take a few 'stronger' apprentices aside and see how they fare against her in battle, but ultimately this will count towards battle training and as an assessment for those she thinks has what it take to be a warrior. It's not a mandatory event, there's no punishment if your cat doesn't show.

Dawnstar will not be wasting time with apprentices with no battle training, although this counts as battle training, don't expect her to bother teaching them anything, they are on their own.

Whitepaw padded over to Dawnstar as she called them over and she waited for further instructions.

Antpaw came over, sitting down with his held high. He didn't want to look stupid in front of Dawnstar, hopefully he wouldn't embarrass himself during this.

Rabbitpaw padded over. He had to do his to prove his strength to her.
(I will be on hiatus/vacation from the 7th - 14th but I will try to post here. Just find Rabbitpaw's partner another one if I go inactive.)

Daisypaw looked up from her spot in the apprentices den. Oh a Training session,
How she loved them. Narrowing her eyes slightly, she got up, hastily following Dawnstar. Once at the cliffs, Daisypaw sat down curling her tail around her paws.

Ooh, some battle training. Never could get to much of that. Frostpaw quickly trotted after Dawnstar to the cliffs. It was important to always look enthusiastic and ready, so he pushed his way to the front of the small gathering and waited for more cats to show up.

Warily the scarred tom approached the Training Cliffs with the rest of his peers. He'd been trapped in a Twoleg nest for the past two moons, and even before that he'd hardly had any combat training. Maybe one incomplete session, but that was it. He was lacking severely. His luck with the dogs had been just that- luck. Plus, he'd had a warrior to help him out.

Grimacing, he rolled his shoulders and glanced sideways at his peers.

Battle training was never the large tom's specialty, but as Palepaw approached the Training Cliffs, there was an unusual spark of excitement in his eyes. Dawnstar would be overseeing this - that meant he had to do his absolute very best not to die. Her approval meant the world - a Clan leader's respect, even grudging, would pave paths Palepaw had never dreamed of! Blinking at his brash train of thought, the apprentice paused. No, he mustn't get ahead of himself. He'd try his best, and hope for the best. Drawing himself in, the young tom sat, tail curled over his paws as he awaited further instruction.

[Little Timmy]

Spottedpaw bounded after the throng of eager apprentices’. The ShadowClan leader was leading the event. This was an event to show how good of a fighter one cat was. Like Dawnstar had done with the warriors a few sunrises before. Spottedpaw wanted to test her fighting skills with the warriors, it turns out she got to but with cats more her age. She sat down as the crowed seemed to stop. She dug her claws into the ground waiting for the event to start, she was ready to fight other cats. She knew this replaced her assessment if she passed, but hey, at least she got to fight more cats than just one.

buzzardpaw silently followed after the group of apprentices - weirdly quiet for someone that's normally so loud. her burn was still healing but after that dream, she felt a terrible hole inside of her, and decided to just follow along. battle training would help her, she certainly needed some more.
