[P] Indecisive silence like a wave on the shore.
Shiningsky had taken notice of Duskleaf before, and the second he had been yelling during that open event she felt concern bubble up. So she waited for the meeting to be over and went out to catch something. She came back with a small sparrow, and approached him.
"Hey, uh... you alright after the meeting?" She asked him, obvious worry for his wellbeing in her voice."you can tell me if something's bothering you." She had genuine concern and kindness in her eyes. She lightly placed the sparrow down, as a show of kindness. She cared greatly about her Clanmates, and that was obvious.

Duskleaf
22 Moons | He/Him | Agatha Kitty
RiverClan Warrior
It really was a sad day, Duskleaf didn’t think it was real at first but when the reality set in, he was genuinely upset by the news. He'd always looked up to Fadingstar and considered the now former leader a friend, so it was actually quite upsetting to hear that he wasn't coming back after turning to leave. He'd made such a scene at that meeting, it was embarrassing! Duskleaf was still nowhere near ready to sleep in what was acting as the warriors' den, he'd already decided he didn’t feel safe there after some cats called for that to happen at his trial, but with this most recent meeting and making an absolute fool of himself, Duskleaf was now a little embarrassed. He probably came across as insane or something!
Just then, he noticed a vaguely familiar cat approaching him with some kind of bird, he couldn’t really tell yet, she was too far away. Ah, it was a sparrow. He listened as she asked if he was okay after the meeting. "Ah yeah, I'm alright, thank you. I just…see, I didn’t realise it wasn’t a dream. I thought I was still asleep and none of this was real, but…it was. It just seemed…what's the word? …Unimaginable. Not every cat really liked Fadingstar, but he was my friend, and I didn’t think for a second he'd just leave like that, and even worse, not come back."
As Shiningsky placed the sparrow down, Duskleaf gave her a grateful look. "Thank you…" He said, taking a bite.

Shiningsky listened carefully and kindly to Duskleaf, giving him a soft smile.
"I figured you'd need someone to talk to since you were so upset, and since nobody else seemed to care I decided I might as well." She gently spoke, the usually-mute she-cat showing calm and caring implications.
