Welcome to Character of the Month, a feature designed to recognize two characters who deserve kudos!

Using the form found at the bottom of this post, you may nominate two Main Roleplay characters you think deserved to be featured! Please use one form per character - they should not be in the same form.

For the sake of giving every character a chance, avoid nominating cats who have already been nominated for the month.

Nominations will be held for approximately 3 weeks, ending on the 22nd. Once it ends, a poll will be posted displaying the names of the characters who qualify for voting.

Users can vote for as many characters as they want to be recognize, provided it is not their own character. It is discouraged to vote for every character listed, as only two will win.

If two characters have the most votes, but they are roleplayed by the same person, the winner will be picked by staff based on the nomination reasons, and the second winner will default to the next highest vote.

The voting period will end on the last day of the month, and the results will be posted on the 1st of the new month.

Before you nominate, please keep these in mind.

• Characters should have been roleplayed within the last two weeks of being nominated to avoid inactive characters being featured.
  
  
• You may not nominate your own characters, or advertise your characters to gain nominations.
  
  
• Characters used to violate a roleplay rule cannot be voted for the month they broke the guideline. They will be omitted from the final polling.
  
  
• Nominations must include an explanation of why the character deserves recognition. Posts that do not provide a reasoning will be removed. Additionally, be thorough in your evaluation of the character. Vague or thoughtless statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded. We want to know why you think this cat deserves attention!
  
  
• You may nominate two characters, but avoid nominating characters who have already been nominated.
  
  
• A character who has won before may be nominated only after 6 months.

Why should this character be featured?: He's such a well made character. I love how many kits have tried to get his tail and just annoy him in general. He's so much fun to roleplay with and valery does it all so well, especially with his patience with one of my kits. I just love to read all of his posts. He's so much fun.

Why should this character be featured?: Bouncepaw is one of the most curious and wonderful cats you could meet in RiverClan. He trains hard with his mentor to become a warrior, and despite his blind eye, this calico tom will be there for RiverClan until the end of time.

Why should this character be featured?: This over worried, wonderful cat who is ThunderClan's new leader deserves everything that has happened. ThunderClan has gone through so much, and this cat deserves to be remembered for helping keep ThunderClan in check and keep it alive. Everything about this cat is wonderful. He's overprotective to his Clan and Clanmates, he is a kind and generous tom, he is just the perfect friend to make and one of the worst enemies to make, besides cats like Dawnstar.

Why should this character be featured?: Roosterflame is a very well created character. I’ve read some of his writings and they are just so great to read. Roosterflame is very much not lazy (I don’t remember the word for that), like he could have just not told his clan about Sparrowstar getting catnapped. He could have just been miserable and kept his mouth shut, but no. The tom told his clan that Sparrowstar got catnapped by two-legs.
This character came from the good life of a barn cat and dared to explore and try to join a clan. How brave is that? Roosterflame is so cute to especially when he’s talking to bugs. As an apprentice he excelled in training and became a warrior a little later than most apprentices, but that’s okay. Roosterflame is friendly, loyal and more. Such a great character istg

Why should this character be featured?: Sun is an adorable little fluffball whom joined Riverclan to be with his kits, he's loyal. Adorable. And absolutely well roleplayed! Sun is an adorable little floof all who isn't smol at all. Pluto roleplays him so well, and Graytail just finds him amusing at worst. Sun is just the adorable little ahhhhhhhh. Why should this character be featured?: Cloudjumper's love for his clan and Fawnlight is absolutely heartwarming. To see his development from an angry, misunderstood guy to hopefully eventually opening up will be something to keep an eye on! As someone who has roleplayed with Cloudjumper, I can say with 100% certainty that he is quite the character.

Character Faction: RiverClan
Why should this character be featured?: Cloverdust is such an interesting character. With her quirky way of speaking as well as her inability to choose the right dialogue option in a situation, she is just a blast to roleplay with. I'm excited to see where Clover's antics take her in the future, and I'm always looking forward to reading each new post that is done with her.

Why should this character be featured?: Sandkit is absolutely adorable. With his care for all the 'flowers' in the Clan and his love for his mother and sister, I love every post made with Sandkit and I can't wait to watch him grow. Daenerys has made such a loveable character!

Why should this character be featured?: Spiritkit has got to be one of my favourite characters to post-stalk. Her inner dialogue is always so fun to read, especially with her creative misremembering of names. It's not often that I see people create such an interesting kit-character, but she is such a good example. I'm excited to see where carmen takes her story, and if she remains a god, or becomes a villain

why should this character be featured?: they're such a goofy goober. lio has the writing style that does nothing but add to the character, and dogspring's endless enthusiasm makes them super fun to read. paired with cloverspring, the two are some of my favorite positive duos. that being said, the mentions of their mother, as well as the interaction with her, seemed to expand character though not in the way i'd like

Why should this character be featured?: She doesn't have a lot of posts yet, but I really enjoy her cool, but approachable nature. Always happy to have Specklekit interact with her, she's such a fun character! I hope to see more posts of her in the future
