As much as he'd like to sleep in today, Alderstep had better things to do. The Haggard Ruins, as lovely as they already were, still had some remnants of the old camp. That'd already proved to be a problem, and while he, Echopaw, and Pebbleshine had driven the weasels out, that didn't mean that the little rodents or something else might take the opportunity to return to the area. The best plan of action would be to completely demolish whatever was left so that the new territory wouldn't tempt any more predators.
In a sharp and clear voice, Alderstep called to the clan, "Join me if you're going to be helpful and clear out Haggard Ruins!" If they managed to clean up the old sinkhole in one day, that'd be great. So, Alderstep sat waiting by the camp entrance, ready to leave once a good amount of cats gathered. The more the merrier, or so the dumb saying went.
The longhaired cat froze at the mentions of haggard ruins. What was alderbuddy thinking, Leading the clan into a SINKHOLEE???? It was offical, he was going. Somebody had to watch Alderbuddy! He bounded over to the deputy and sat next to them. "I will not leave your side, you mouse-brain," he teased.

Fawnpaw dashed over, ready to help. She bounced on her back paws, excited to bond and help her clanmates. Fawnpaw didn't know about the sinkholes, so she thought this would be a safe clean-up.

Tigerblush usually wasn't one to do extra work, but she hadn't checked out the old camp yet so~ might as well tag along! She padded up and sat nearby, taking in the good weather while she waited.

Sharpclaw hobbled over, ready to help in any way he could. He was a little surprised, though, to find Alderstep leading this cleaning event. He'd assumed the lazy deputy didn't care enough about anything to ever leave his nest.

Aldie was calling out for cats to help clean the ruins? Count her in! The medicine cat apprentice popped her head out from the medicine den to look over in the direction of Alderstep as she watched him call for cats to come in to help clean out the Haggered Ruins. Well, it wasn’t fully necessarily a requirement, right? She’ll come along and help nonetheless even if it wasn’t that big of a requirement for her to come along and help. Hey, and who knows, maybe Alderstep could use a little buddy-buddy in case he gets too tired to do anything else of the sort. With a grin practically smeared onto her maw, the young feline pranced herself out from the safety of the medicine den and joined up with the gathering cats, casting the grumpy russet-furred tom-cat a large, beaming grin in hopes he could see her. Maybe she could go say hi to him?
