After dropping his small catch on the prey pile, Goosepaw made his way over to Lionstar. Irritation showed in every step he took, in every twitch of his whiskers, even though he managed to conceal it in his voice. "We'e back from patrol," he said curtly. "It didn't last long and we didn't catch much, due to a... an altercation." That was the easiest way to put it, he thought.

Lionstar had just returned from a outing in the territory when Goosepaw caught his attention, and he looked over at the other tom curiously as he approached. "Back so soon? How'd it go?"

His first impression had been that it'd just been bad luck with hunting given the lone rodent he'd dropped off, until .. Goosepaw continued and Lionstar perked his ears. "What do you mean an altercation? What happened?"

"Cobaltshade and Fawnsqueak got into an argument as soon as we left." It was the bluntest way of putting it. "About her injuries from the coyote battle. I left for just a few moments, to go catch the vole, and when I came back, I saw Cobaltshade strike Fawnsqueak across the face and then storm off. Fawnsqueak said he didn't want to continue with the patrol, so we decided to just come back to camp."

Well, I and my apprentice Crabpaw found a kit outside the border and brought it to Lionstar Cloverstone recounted, the kit was named Dusk I believe he added

“I don’t know how I wasn’t put in charge of this.” Asterpaw’s lip was curled, all of these inferior apprentices... “I’m here now though.” He flashed a sarcastic smile at the other cats there.

"You found a kit too. Me and a warrior found two kits.", he replied. How many kits had been found out in the territories. "Their names are Roxie and Air.", Fogpaw added.

"Sure," Lionstar faintly shrugged. "You can join. What's your name, kit?" He was pretty sure none of the others had mentioned one.

Lampreypaw studied the muddied up warrior in front of them with calm but wide eyes. They tried not to look nervous but their whiskers quivered slightly as Gentlethunder guessed their name wrong but they didn't say anything. They weren't a talkative cat and a simple miscommunication of names didn't seem worth it. It didn't make any difference and it wouldn't harm their training any. They'd tough it out for now, but if it ended up as something sillier than Lamfeepaw they'd object to it.

"I- uh, need to learn the basics," they admitted in a raspy whisper. It wasn't that they were ashamed as they had no reason to be, they were a brand new apprentice. However they had a difficult time speaking loudly at the best of times. Following the tom's eyes towards the Warrior's den, Lampreypaw turned around to see if their mentor emerge. After a moment when that did not happen, they turned back to Gentlethunder with expectant yellow eyes. Perhaps they had asked for too much. "I just want to be prepared."

Narrowing his gaze as he looked expectintaly at the Den, he finally let out a deep exhale and looked down at Lambpaw. Quirking a brow. "Alright squirt. I have nothing better to do and all my Apprentices seem to go missing. Let's go teach you some battle basics." he huffed. Picking himself up Gentlethunder began to make his way out the entrance. "Off to the Beach."

Fawnsqueak exited the nursery upon Thistlestep's direction to report to Lionstar, a silly smirk on his face. Since he'd gotten his brother to carry the kits back like a workhorse, he supposed he could manage making the report to Lionstar. As his gaze drifted over the cats, he laughed to himself as he realized it probably wasn't revenge for making him into a kit-ride; rather, he just didn't want to be called Gaystep by Lionstar for the hundredth time. Spotting him, Fawnsqueak dodged clanmates to get to his golden companion and rumbled a purr as he lightly head-butted him to announce his presence. "Hey, handsome. So... quick report," he started, "we found these kits in Sleepy Thicket-- like, three of them somehow. I don't know how they got there or anything, but they wanted to join RiverClan so Thistlestep is leaving them with Sugarapple." Thinking for a second, he sifted through the sequence of events to ensure he didn't miss anything. "Um... oh! You might like this: I put all three of them on his back, and he gave them a badger-ride back to camp."

Bumblebelly paws were itching, the skin under his pelt was burning with shame, doubt, anxiety. A whirlwind of nerves was gathering like a roam cloud trailing behind him.
Bumblebelly took a step put of the warrior den, glancing across the clearing until he spotted the deputy. Sootflare was an understanding cat, yes! Or so Bumblebelly hoped. The little time they had spent together was decent company, for the situation. "Sootflare?" He called out, approaching the cat with a slightly hung head.
