Dogkit padded out of the nursery and paused to look for Foxpaw. He really needed her help. He sat to the side of the entrance, trying to spot her.

Foxpaw padded up the younger cat and smiled, "Hey, whatcha lookin for?"

"Foxpaw!" Dogkit greeted her, purring. "I was looking for you" His eyes lost his excitement. His gaze moved to the dirt under his paws."I-I know I should be able to do this myself, but can you help me make some friends?" he asked her. "I know that when you're doing training I can't hang out with you and I've never talked to another kit before" He explained. His copper eyes watched her orange eyes, hopeful.

Gingerpaw sat next to Daweyes probably still half asleep, it was so early! for Ginger's terms atleast- normally he woukd still be laying comfortably in his nest- or any other comfortable place- and sleeping, if the kits would finally be quiet that is.
Without looking at her, he merely grunted as an answer to his mentor. She seemed to already have gone; he could just stay right there where he was or even go back to sleep and it might go unoticed- he sat there with an averted gaze, thinking about the idea for a small moment, it didn't seem to awful.. yet for some reason it just didn't feel right. Great.
With a sigh and a roll of his eyes, Gingerpaw flicked his tail a caught up behind Deweyes. Atleast she was starting of with something somewhat calm, that didn't involve running around all the time, so he supposed it wasn't that awful, it could've been worse- no?

Foxpaw laughed, "Sure let's go make you some friends. Who do you want to be introduced to?" she asked just to figure out what she was doing.

Deweyes raises a brow at her apprentice’s complete lack of enthusiasm. It took him ages to even make his way to the entrance. The warrior knew she needed to snap him into shape somehow, but she had no idea how to convince a cat who didn’t want to see the territory to do anything. She’d never ancountered such an apathetic apprentice before. Tilting her head slightly, Deweyes fixed her sightless gaze on Gingerpaw when he finally followed her and tried a different tactic, “what do you like to do, Gingerpaw?”

"Goooooseeeeepaaaaawwwww!"

Lionstar called for him as he exited his den, stopping near the center of the clearing. Poppytwist said he was resting, but he didn't care. "I need to speak to you for a moment."

Pulling himself from his place by the camp's entrance, Goosepaw made his way over to Lionstar. His heart fluttered anxiously in his chest. Why would Lionstar, of all cats, be calling him? "Uh, yes, what is it?"

[BEAR.]

"Have you spoken to Fawnsqueak recently?" Lionstar didn't give him much time to answer. "He was looking for you not too long ago.. he wanted you to go on a hunting patrol." He nodded toward the camp entrance, where Fawnsqueak and Cobaltshade seemed to be waiting.

Gingerpaw shrugged at the question, there wasn't really much he actually liked to do- sure, he did enjoy some things from time to time, but could it really be considered that he actually liked those things? He'd have to give that some more thought, if he felt like it. Well, there was one thing, he used to like playing with his sister, but those days were long gone now, with no return in sight.
That last thought wasn't very pleasing to his memory, yet he stayed silent as they kept walking, finding the silence around them, unlike the former thought, being rather pleasing in fact, but it didn't quite show- he still carried that neutral and somewhat lazy expression on his face. It took a bit but eventually he did glance to his mentor with his dark green eyes "and you?" he asked; he didn't really have much interest to it, another cat's enjoyments didn't concern him after all, but he didn't mind a small and simply conversation that much, as long as it stayed out of his business. And although he wasn't one to do so, nor care, getting on bad terms with a cat he'd be seeing more often wasn't an idea he was particularly fond of either.
