Wolfhive didn't understand why Risingstorm went for
his apprentice when he was already trying to handle it... He hadn't intended on making her feel infantized, he was just genuinely concerned for her well-being as someone he cared about.
"Rising, there's other apprentices..." Yes, maybe he should have sought others out too, but checking on his own was normal? He thought? Bumba would've checked on him if he were an apprentice.
"Dung's freaky, don't blame you for being surprised." He lightly reached to bop her shoulder reassuringly before he headed off to check on the others. [ @

Things seemed to be in order, at least for now. Bumblestar was calling them to leave the thicket and Wolfhive was relieved to say the least. This place brought enough trouble as is!
She led them through the territory, over disgustingly wet ground and into a crater. Wolfhive was relieved to be out of the worst of the water - and his curious eyes flitted around what was clearly an abandoned camp. He knew where they'd been living prior to being driven out, so whatever this was... maybe their home before WindClan attacked because of Beanstar? This was new.
Some rummaging around the ruins led him to find a small shell. It was surprisingly intact, a shiny blue-green in color, and very smooth to the touch despite ridge lines. Wolfhive ran his paw over it before he brought it over to Beachpaw.
"Hey, I got something for you."
