This kit spoke very slowly. It was almost enchanting, in a way. It kind of suited him. Whisperkit frowned at the kit. “I’m not either, really... been waking up in the middle of the night a lot lately. I get what you mean.”. He did, one hundred percent. In his sleep, he was hunted - hunted by the monster and his nightmares and a never-ending feeling of utter terror. But now, when he was awake, and even more so with someone else, those feelings were starting to fade.

“Oh!” The kit’s question surprised him, causing him to draw one paw back. “I’m, uh...” Tell or don’t tell? Did a random kit really need to know about his nightmares. “Uh, it was just a bad dream,” he settled for. Then, leaning forward just the slightest, he squinted at the kit. ”What’s your name? I don’t recognize you. You must have just joined, right?”

Cottenstem purred as she thought of names, they both looked like her and none like her mate. . . "Moonkit, and Cricketkit," she said looking at the smaller white one and the jumpy Green eyed one, she remembered with a pang she had to give one of them to her mate. Cricketkit was energized and jumpy, he reminded her of Her secret mate and moonkit was a small and calm. . . which one would do better in thunderclan?

Riddlekit listener carefully, weighing the other kit’s words, and tilting his head slightly, almost like an owl.
“Nightmares?” He asked briefly, his unreadable eyes wide. He glanced away and nodded slowly, “I...understand. Some things...are hard to forget...when it feels like the night stirs them back up.” He agreed.
“I am called Riddlekit now. Dawnstar says it is because...I am strange. I can’t complain...I think she’s right. What is your name?” He returned, in his slow, pensive tone.

(1 moon time-skip since it's been just over a week since they've been born!)

Skykit woke to a prod in the side, likely one of his littermates moving in their sleep and accidentally poking him. He rolled over at first, reluctant to leave his dreams, letting out a soft sigh instead and pressing himself further into his mother's warm fur. But, none-the-less, he opened his eyes after a few more moments, squinting against... wait, was that light? The kitten shot to his paws, blinking in surprise. It was morning! Most likely just the wee hours of the morning, but morning none-the-less. Which meant it was time to get up!

She got full and purred contentedly. She curled up and yawned. Her fluffy white fur was raised against the wind. She scooted closer to her mother and yawned again.

Cottenstem curled her tail around her kits and closed her eyes. . .
She slept most of the day but got up at sundown and moved her kits to a nest closer to the back of the nursery, she had thought about it a lot and was pained to do it but, she thought Cricketkit would do better in Thunderclan than Shadowclan and she wanted moonkit to grow up in her rightful home as she so plainly fit in but cricketkit. . .
