Lotusheart was shocked at her apprentice's enthusiasm. Was she doing a good job. Bright paw seemed interested. The massive she-cat couldn't help but smile at her apprentice.
"Well, ShadowClan lives in the pine forest. Their leader is Icestar who is quite aggressive and I think it's rubbing off on a lot of the cats. ThunderClan lives in a lush forest with thick undergrowth. Their leader Duskstar seems OK. WindClan live on the moors. No trees, just open skies. I was always shocked at that. Their leader seems a bit irritable, but I haven't seen her a lot. Their border is over there. "she said, pointing with her tail.

Fennelheart’s broken leg wasn’t quite healed, but it was healed enough that she could safely go on a walk out of camp. It felt nice to be out of camp and alone, enjoying the breeze and scenic views. She was quite happy enjoying her walk. She knew she was walking slower than normal, but she couldn’t help but enjoy the peace, maybe next time she went on a walk, her son Cottonstrike would come with her.

Mitch's sister had made the very fatal mistake of looking away and now they was ZOOMING through the forest as fast as they could while also stopping to look at every bug and leaf and stick and root they came across every half a second. Everything was huge. But everything was also hot. And the way their collar rubbed around their neck was beginning to become very agitating.
Growling to themself, Mitch twisted their head at such an angle that allowed them to get their teeth around the collar. And then they began to chew and tug. Unfortunately, it seemed physics was against Mitch, because they only succeeded in pulling themself across the ground until he promptly stumbled over a random cat's paws and fell on his face, which made him release an unearthly screech of rage as he jumped up to face the meanie who had dared to interrupt his master plan of being free!

Fennelheart hadn’t been paying attention when suddenly she looked down to see a kit reeking of twolegs and based on the collar around the kits neck, it appeared they were a kittypet. She wrinkled her nose before looking down at the screeching kit,” Easy there...What are you doing so far away from the twolegplace?“ she asked gently giving a smile to the little kit. This poor thing so far from home and lost.

The she-cat's voice cut off their yell and they snapped their jaws shut to peer at her curiously. They saw the way she wrinkled her nose at them, and he drew in a breath to yell something about HOW ABSOLUTELY RUDE that was. And then she smiled at them. Mitch tilted their head, blinking. Their sister had always told them not to talk to strangers. But their sister wasn't here so who was going to stop them? Certainly not this she-cat, obviously, who had spoken to them first.
"I'm exploring!" they exclaimed. "Who are you? Why do you smell like fish? Why are you so far from Twolegplace?" They drew in a sudden gasp of realization, and then shouted at the top of their lungs, "ARE YOU A FISH???"

Fennelheart couldn’t help but laugh when the kit asked if she was a fish,” No, I’m not a fish. I’m a Riverclan cat. I live out here with many other cats.” she explained glad to see the kit quit shrieking. Fennelheart found this kit quiet entertaining, she’d probably half to escort this shrieking thing back home, but honestly her heart seemed to fall for this kit, they’d make a great warrior in her opinion.

"Ri-ver-Clan." They tested the word on their tongue. It was weird, that was for sure. They didn't know if they liked it or not. "What's a RiverClan cat? Do you live in a river? Can you swim? Breathe underwater? If you can that's not very normal and you should probably go see a vet unless you really ARE a fish and you're just lying about it." They squinted at Fennelheart, trying to decide if she was telling the truth or if she was one of those magic fish their sister used to tell them about. Their favorite was the one about the fish that granted the tiger three wishes when it was caught.

Something clicked in his head. Of course! She was a MAGIC fish! That's why she was able to live in a river and walk on the land at the same time. Maybe she could grant them wishes too! "Okay, magic fish, the gig is up!" they said. "So now you have to grant me my three wishes! I wish for magic powers and a bazillion other wishes!"

Fennelheart found this kit quite funny,” Riverclan cats live on land, but we eat fish and can swim, but we can’t breathe underwater.“ she purred. She nearly laughed when the kit deemed her a magic fish,” I’m not magical, I can’t grant wishes.“ she laughed, plus she didn’t swim or fish herself, she hated water herself.

after a little while, dayheart opened his eyes and turned around to start searching for eveninglight. hrmm.. she couldn't have gone toooo far, could she? he hadn't heard any excessively rushed running pawsteps, so he assumed she had to be close enough, unless she was that good at being a quiet runner. he wouldn't be surprised. running around the territory aimlessly, he searched through a number of bushes with absolutely no success. as he began running in circles, looking behind trees and other of vegetation such, he felt a few leaves fall onto his head -- something that hadn't happened earlier. maybe it was just the wind? nah, he bet the tree was just showing its love for him by gifting him with pretty leaves!!!!! yeah, that had to be it!! he knew the trees loved him! he hadn't heard any rustling, anyway... but he still waited for a few seconds to see if anything was going to happen before he would leave.

Eveninglight tried to remain silent sitting in the tree, but watched a squirrel sitting on the tree, she wanted to hunt it while hiding, so being risky, she crept forward before jumping and killing the squirrel, before realizing she wasn’t thinking as that had sent leaves falling out and a few twigs that snapped. Damn it, he probably would realize she was on the tree.
