As much as she can manage it, Cinderpaw smiles, nodding in response to Rookfire's question of her excitement and allowing the physical affection he lends. She is not always one for physical contact - it was one of the reasons she didn't sit with her pelt immediately flush to her mentor's - but there were times and there were cats with witch it was nice. Wispypaw, Rookfire, mama, papa to name a few. Somewhere else in the clearing, Bleedingpaw and Scorpionpaw's snow scuffle drawing her attention, especially when Rookfire himself mentions it.

The relationship with the rest of her extended family, her grandmother, cousins, and aunts and uncles (odd to think of them as that, considering the aunts and uncles she was mostly thinking of were all younger than her) were not cats Cinderpaw found herself close to. Still, it was nice to see Bleedingpaw getting along with their family, even if Cinderpaw herself might not be in the same boat. Socialization was a little difficult when even just talking was hard.

And then Dawnstar begins, calling a hoard of apprentices to gather and, behind them, she directs Magpiepaw, Willowpaw, and Cinderpaw herself to line up. Okay. Big moment. This was it. She feels her posture straighten just a little before she stands, her tail pressing along Rookfire's shoulder briefly, the subtlest hint of her nerves, before she finds Bleedingpaw's gaze, offering him a tiny, nervous smile. It would be him next, probably. She has no doubt. Slowly, the tripod moves to settle beside Magpiepaw, an apprentice she'd trained with, traded blows with in a battle lesson taught by Rookfire, but not someone she felt particularly close to. Willowpaw isn't here yet that she can tell, or they're making their way now and Cinderpaw is simply missing them. It's not important.

In the crowd, amber eyes try and pick out some of her other siblings, Birdpaw and Wispypaw to be specific, not that the latter would even notice her gaze, but still... there was part of Cinderpaw that wanted to get her name alongside her blind sister, and she worried about the guilt that was swirling in her gut at not following through with the silent promise.

Bonekit leaned a little bit on Vixenkit with affection.
He narrowed his eyes at Pepperkit.
"You're wrong, dummy." He said "No Mousekit. Only Bonekit and Vixenkit. And Vixen don't talk. Can't talk."

His words were choppy and off, he's never necessarily spoken normally, but he's never noticed, nor does he care.

Vixenkit stared at Pepperkit through slit eyes. Yeah, mousebrain. I can’t talk. I probably could learn but I can’t. She growled aloud, though she hoped the meaning behind it was clearing. She jerked her muzzle towards the rest of the clan, hoping she would go away. If you want to bully Vixen, you’ll have to fight and Vixen sure ain’t scared to.

Pepperkit just smirked. “A mute kitty? Why don’t they feed her to the foxes?” This is pathetic. How could a mute cat even help?! What if Vixen had gotten hurt but she couldn’t tell what happened? The whole clan would fall apart. “Ugh.. you all are boring. I’m going before I get mute cough.” She grouched, rising to her paws and trotting off. For a 2 moon old kit, Pepper was a sassy kit, even she could see it, but she didn’t care. Weaklings could harm the wellbeing of the clan.

He's clearly not against bullying cats who bully his siblings.

He turned his attention to Vixenkit.
"Don't listen. That one's dumb." He repeated the information.

Vixen booped her nose to Bonekit’s as a way of saying thanks. Having siblings like Bonekit was amazing. Pepperkit’s just a mousebrain. No better than a mouse. She flicked her tail towards where they stood, hoping he’d want to sit down together.

Vixen sat, happy Bonekit had understood her gesture. As he spoke, her gaze followed his towards the Grimpeak. Ofcourse they would. Well.. Bonekit would. Vixenkit would absolutely not be up there. Her mutism would keep her from being leader. If she could learn to talk, that might give her a chance but she could never be leader the way she is.

Maybe Vixen could be a medicine cat.. That would be cool but ofcourse it wasn’t likely and she’d respect Wolfhawk whether she became his apprentice or not. That would be too stressful for Vixen. As she thought, she finally noticed she had shifted her gaze to the medicine den. You’ll be a fantastic warrior! You could never been a medicine cat without a voice. She quickly turned back to the Grimpeak, hopefully before anyone could notice.

Groaning at Rookfire as the older tom approached the winded bengal wheezed out a low "Help" from where he was sprawled over top of Scorpionpaw, unable to move. There wasnt any real damage, he was just sore now and stunned from the double impact, limp and floppy. Thankfully Mudhaze was there and with another moan the tom let himself be lifted and moved without issue, melting flat cat onto the ground when he was released. Just this time not on top of Scorpionpaw.



As for Mudhazes question? The spotted cat got a muttered "Id tell you if I had a single clue." As Bleedingpaw looked over his own completely slushed and filthy fur, whining sadly.



If there was one thing the golden boy had it was a perfectly marked pretty pelt and look how messy it was now! He wasnt mad though, not really even as a wobbling paw scooped up some of the messy slush offa his own fur and proceeded to dunk it on the little giggling fiends head.
"Im alright Scorps though you and me are going to have a talk about 'adequate force' later. Doubt youre gonna listen to me but given youre gonna be cleaning my messy fur properly while listening theres gonna be ample time."
Suppose that meant he was going to be cleaning Scorpionpaw in turn.... Sigh. Still the molly was accepted in the cuddle as Bleedingpaw turned his attention to the rest of the meeting.


And given it was Cinderpaws warrior ceremony it was really important he did pay attention! Smiling wide at his elder sister in return the tom wiggled, excited and leaned over to whisper to his friend "See that black and white molly, shes my older sister Cinderpaw, I wonder what warrior name shes gonna get!" She more then deserved a good one.
