Shimmeringpaw was not a morning person, she rather likes sleeping in her warm bed than freezing her whiskers off. After being nudged by her brother a couple of times, the apprentice finally got up, sleepiness still holding its power over her. Standing up and stretching the molly reluctantly padded out of the Apprentice's Den. She automatically looked for Stoatdance until reality hit her and remembered that her new mentor was Goldencloud. Disappointment and sorrow stung at Shimmeringpaw's heart, walking to the warrior she tried her best to hide her feelings.

The silver molly was surprised that Lionstar chose her out of any other cat in the group to show Duck around. I mean, you did open your mouth.... Shimmeringpaw gave her leader a nod and a forced smile, anxiety started to trickle into her thoughts. What if I make a fool of myself? What if I can't speak because I'm too shy?. Taking deep breaths quietly the silver she-cat slightly helped her growing panic attack. Not wanting to attract attention to herself, she tapped Duck on his shoulder. "H-hey, are you ready?" The molly was already stutteirng again, losing every trace of that daring apprentice who spoke for herself.

Sunkit poked his head out and squinted against the blinding light that kept him from seeing everything completely. His brother, Sparrowkit was still asleep and he didn't feel like getting scolded at today. The fiery colored tom walked out of the nursery with his stubby legs. His ocean blue eyes scanning the area for any cat to 'attack'.

Lightningeyes walked in to camp dropping her prey on the fresh kill pile. I should have just hunted more, all my friends were out with thier apprentices she decided to go to the nursery to play with the kits @Shimm

A slow gait, almost robotically as if his brain struggled to tell each paw to take a step for Greenfur. What a mournful day for him now that he is a mentor of a well known brat of Riverclan. He knew eventually that one day he'd become a mentor, though, hoped for a kit that's slow or quiet the least. Hissing a sigh swinging his eyes right and left to capture the sight of his apprentice however nothing caught his attention. The white warrior plopped down in the center twitching his tail as the length of patience started to quickly dwindle. "Where is this kit?" he grumbled. Well, a good side of it: if Beetlepaw doesn't show up that gives him the excuse to back to sleep. I should check on Sunblaze later on, his mind made a u-turn back on the wounded warrior. Since dropping him off by Shiverpetal, he only stayed by his side for a little way before departing back to his duties. A small spark of fear pulsed in his heart to meet his denmate afraid of wounds might've worsened. He shook his head. Of course he will be fine and if not then who cares? After life is death and he pretty much waltz right into it like a dummy. Grunting out loud to satisfy his old ways, he focused back at what's around him. Time is ticking, the sun will not stay in the sky forever- where is this dumb kit? From what other experienced mentors told him, if they don't show that requires for him to look for them or call out their name. Beetlepaw! Beetlepaw!, he called out mentally. Oh well, she's a no call no show. He stood back up ready to head back to his precious nest.

Sunkit was soooooooo bored with Sparrowkit still asleep. He didn't dare to mess with anybody else because they'll just grumble at him or cry to their mothers. His ocean blue eyes peeped out from the nursery, watching the clan in action. I can't wait to become a warrior! He thought to himself. Then he saw a figure walk into camp, Oh no! The kit didn't recognize the new cat, INTRUDERRRR. The fiery kit wildly looked around the den to see if anyone else was up, but no one else was. Poking his head out of the den to see if any cat would stop this stranger but none did. It's up to me! The realization that the stranger somehow magically tricked everyone in the clan but him! Gathering his courage and pushing away the fear and nervous feelings that dared to take over. The young tom rushed out of the nursery fast as his stubby legs could and ran straight for the molly while yelling on top of his lungs, "FOR RIVERCLANNNN."

wormpaw gaze intently at his sister, letting silence fall over them. his eyes flicker over her appearance, up and down- side to side. the lanky tom lean forward, sniffing her. "hmmm, " he hum softly. then-- wormpaw fell back onto his haunches, relaxing. gotta do a well-being check, yknow? "spill the fresh-kill, " he finally mew, a small huff at the end of his statement. it's been quite some time since he got to have one on one bonding time. he was oh so very curious to hear what's been up. wormpaw also had his own things to share. he brought his paw up, licking it for dramatic cool brother effect.

She was used to her brother's closeness and random thoughts/questions. Tilting her head to one side the molly thought about everything that has so far happened since she last talked to Wormpaw. "Well my Dark Lord." Bowing dramatically. The old nickname stuck with her brother since kithood. "Goldencloud is an okay mentor, I prefer Stoatdance and can't wait for her to come back." She meowed, she knew it was ungrateful and rude but she couldn't lie to her brother, he would smell it across the camp. "It's so awkward with him...Well more awkward than I usually am." Shuffling her paws in embarrassment. Life was so easy being a kit, she could have stayed in the nursery or hid in Wormpaw's shadow. Sometimes she missed the good old days. Now she has duties and has to be somewhat social. "Well, I did make a new friend, Owlpaw!" The embarrassment washed away as she beamed at the black tom.

wormpaw resisted to grin at the nickname. it was quite rare to be called the dark lord unless it was himself or the,, hnngh. nevermind that! he tilt his head, nodding along. he remembered stoatdance. a very good trusty warrior. goldencloud seem very fluffy. he nodded silently. couldn't be that bad. "throw snow at him. it works. trust me, " wormpaw stated in his top serious voice, dead-panning. actually that was maybe the worst advice the apprentice had given in a while but if the tom had a sense of humor, it should lift the mood. hopefully. wormpaw was always down to go lecture the cat if he yelled at his sister.
he tilt his head, blinking. a wide smile spread across his face. "woo!" he cheer quietly to shimmeringpaw in a hushed voice. then his smile turned into a devilish smirk. wormpaw lean against her, "owlpaw.. huh? eh? eh? what are they like, hmmm?" he wiggle his brows, pawing at the molly's leg dramatically. he couldn't be called a good brother if he didn't tease-- no matter how dark and serious he was.

The apprentice gasped, "Wouldn't he get mad and then assign me to elder duties?". Her baby blue eyes wide and looking at her brother with shock. But then seeing his face the she-cat knew that he was joking. Wormpaw managed to coax a laugh out of the silver molly. Eyes glittering at her brother's enthusiastic response, but then pushing his shoulder gently. SHE, is a very shy girl, shyer than me. But she is very kind and pleasant to hang out with.". Sticking her tongue out at Wormpaw the she-cat remembered something, "Stay right here." Shimmeringpaw asked Wormpaw before padding quickly to the apprentice den and then to the fresh-kill pile. Coming back with thrush and something else she tried to keep hidden.
Placing the bird in front of the black apprentice. "This one is for backing me up when we found Duck." Pushing the prey to her brother. Then took a beautiful feather that she placed in her tail. "Then I found two of these and I thought that you would love the second.. She leaned her face towards his and tucked the feather in his ear. Giggling at the sight of her emo brother with something bright on him.

Duck stumbled as Shimmeringpaw prodded him, caught off-guard by the sudden contact. It was strange to hear her stutter now, after witnessing her go off on Lionstar just to convince the golden giant to simply consider letting him join. He blinked at her, then gave her a small smile and gently nudged her back. "I'm ready," he said, and then, just because it felt awkward to see her so uncomfortable, added, "I know you'll do fine."
