Heather was frozen in fear the whole trip out of the battle, legs plastered to her body as Daintybird carried her. This wasn't the home she was expecting. Was violence a normal thing for ShadowClan...? If so, the kit wanted no part of it.

"Mama," Heather squeaked, trying to speak through heart-wrenched sobs. "Why are we being attacked? I don't wanna go back home, ShadowClan is dangerous..."

BerryKit would run over. Phew! You’re ok! FalconKit is determined to fight anything that comes near us, so she’s near the front yelling at non existent RC warriors.

Blackpaw nodded before sprinting to go get Falconkit calmed down, "She'll lead the foxhearts right to us and I don't have any training thanks to Ivykit." he sai with a roll of his eyes, "Let's go get her, this isn't the time."

Snowkit padded alongside Firekit, occasionally looking back at the camp. Firekit, however, kept her eyes on Falconkit, who was going off on how they would protect them. Firekit opened her mouth to say something, but Snowkit bumped her with her shoulder, knowing she would say something provocative. Besides, Falconkit was their friend, and they were just trying to help and be brave. Firekit had her eyes narrowed for any threats to the group, obviously, she would help fight anything or anyone off if she needed to. For now Snowkit urged Firekit to keep her mouth shut.

Owlfeather smiled at Falconkit, ushering her to stay close.
"Yes, you are very brave. I will need your help keeping everybody safe, okay? Can you help me lead the way to the Waterbarn? We have to make sure everybody follows us." She knew how much this kit wanted to help, and she wanted to make her feel important. Keeping her eyes on the group, she began leading the way into the territory.

It was hard enough to breathe while she was straining to carry this kit through the ShadowClan territory, and Daintybird felt a twinge of frustrated irritation as she began to cry about the dangers of the Clan. She was desensitized to the frenzy of battle from her warrior days and hardly thought anything of it, other than it was a pain to sleep through. Responding wasn't an easy feat, so she had to momentarily put Heatherkit down to huff, "The forest is more dangerous, sweetie! Who knows what could've happened if it was just us, and those fishy mongrels came to attack? The warriors are protecting us." Finished with that, she leaned down after a deep breath to gather Heatherkit's scruff again and continue their walk to the Waterbarn.

Ribbitkit followed the group of kits and queens, until he noticed his brother was missing. "Wait! Where's Croakingkit?" He looked around frantically, wailing in distress. "I haven't seen him since the RiverClan cats came in! I'm not leaving without him." The young kit's mind began racing with terrible thoughts. Was Croakingkit okay? Where is he? What if he gets hurt? He couldn't afford to lose his littermate. He was practically the only cat Ribbitkit felt comfortable around.
