Strawberryf-paw padded up to Bumblestar's den, casting a nervous glance at Nightgaze. She was uncertain about reporting to her leader, since their last interaction went...so well. But she wasn't about to make Nightgaze have to speak up for her. The pale ginger tabby cleared her throat and straightened her back before tipping her head inside, staying outside the den entrance. "Bumblestar?" She called into the den. "I-I have a report." Strawberrypaw wasn't usually the type to stutter, but she was apprehensive. She hoped that she did was enough to at least show Bumblestar she was serious about not breaking the rules again in the future. She didn't want to be exiled from the clan...the clan was everything to her. She didn't mind if Bumblestar decided that she needed to do more and kept her as an apprentice for a little longer, as long as she wasn't exiled from the clan, she could live anything.
Nightgaze followed Strawberryfur into the leader's den. Personally she was satisfied with the work the troubled warrior had completed, feeding the kits and queens, hopefully Bumblestar would be as well, if not then she could vouch for her! She wasn't the most persuasive of cats but she saw how remorseful Strawbs was and so she deserved more leniency than the truly wicked criminals.
Sitting back on her haunches near the mouth of her den, the small Hornet was about to speak before Strawberryfur unintentionally broke her off. Surprised but having no problem with the pale ginger tabby sending in a report herself, Nightgaze simply shuffled and sent an encouraging grin her way. Strawbs seemed on edge but Boss wasn't all bite and she didn't expect Bumblestar to be too harsh on her since she would be there to give her own report on progress. This would all go smoothly!
Silverleopard ThunderClan Warrior
She / Her ; 27 Moons
a silver-and-white rosette she-cat with blue eyes, daughter of lionwish, sister of acornfall.
Silverleopard's broad-shouldered form slunk into the den, her blue eyes almost as if they were chips of ice. Spotting Bumblestar's tabby-and-white pelt lying within her nest, the warrior dipped her head respectfully. ''Bumblestar.''
Lifting her head, Silverleopard sat down and flicked her tail tip, signaling for Crowpaw - hopefully he had followed her in - to do the same. ''Cormorantswoop and I were out hunting, and we caught Crowpaw outside of camp by himself. He was sitting in a tree at Cattail Pond, bird watching. Or so he says.''
Thrushkit nodded in solidarity to her siblings before waltzing into Bumblestar's den, head and tail held high. She walked past Hawk-kit, lifting her head enough for her eyes to meet Bumblestar's, which quite the angle but it had to be done. She wanted Bumblestar to know she was serious. Kits were often not taken seriously, but they had been discussing this and given it a lot of thought. "We've gotta problem." She mewed, her voice squeakier than she cared for due to her size and destroying her whole facade. "We've all agreed...we need to do something about our names." She lifted her chin even higher, standing protectively in front of Hawk-kit.

Starlingkit followed Hawkkit closely, side-eyeing him every now and then. She couldn't help but blame Hawkkit for everything that'd happened. She was a little child, after all. In her mind, Hawkkit was the one who got the whole Clan riled up, and momma exiled. If only he didn't scream during the Meeting... But she wasn't livid. As much as it was surprising even to her, she was just... Annoyed.
But her momma had hit Hawkkit. And he had bled.
Was he really at fault?
Of course he was! Because of him, she never wanted to see Momma again. She had left a mental scar on her that she did not know if she could ever recover from.
...
If she had known the concept of mental health and trauma.
Hawkkit was sitting with his siblings talking to them about what happened with their mother and about their names hawk didnt like his name anymore even tho he was young the attack still hurt him deep down it hurt him so he felt like it needed a change. Stading up the kit padded into bumblestars den “ Miss bumblestar he meowed poking his head in “ can i ask you something? the kit asked stepping a bit farther into the den

OWLKIT
Trailing after her siblings to make sure no one tried to come at them from the back, Owlkit entered the leader's den. Weird place, seemed dark and lonely... she was glad she would never have to sit in her for long periods of time. Her sisters and brother had already said what needed to be said, so she sat down behind them silently and kept her chin lifted high.

BUMBLESTAR
Somehow she knew she'd be seeing Larkswoop's spawn at some point. Bumblestar sat up as the siblings entered her den, eyeing each of them individually as she flicked one ear. "Names, huh? Thinkin' of changing 'em or something?"
The touch at her nose caused her to momentarily panic. This was the end. No more Swanpaw. ’Goodbye Mommy. Goodbye Daddy. Goodbye Elkpaw. Goodbye Swanpaw. Goodbye Brindlepaw’. She quickly went through a mental goodbye for each of her loved ones before her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the small-framed leader’s voice (causing her to flinch slightly). Bumblestar wasn’t going to end her for her question…?
Hesitantly, they opened their eyes as Bumblestar began explaining the cause of their confusion. ”I see…” Swanpaw mewed as if lost in thought, eyes once again cast toward the ground, brows furrowed. The young apprentice was running the new facts in her mind as she processed what she was just told. She hadn’t known that you could do that – be a she-cat when you were born a tom. That was… interesting? Yes, she would go with interesting.
”I u-umm…” She tripped over her words as they tried to figure out how to voice the concerns that had been plaguing her for some time now. ”I’m… different too…” She said in a hesitant tone before bringing her gaze back to Bumblestar, eyes welling with tears that threatened to spill over. ”M-Mudhound… they accidentally called me ‘he’ a-and… s-sometimes others get c-confused too. D-do I smell different t-too? I’ve a-always kn-kn-known I was d-different from my siblings b-but… I-is something wrong with m-me?” She stammered.
She was trying not to cry. Bumblestar already seemed somewhat irritated and they couldn’t imagine that sobbing would make things any better, They were just… confused… Bumblestar was a she-cat but was born a tom and so smelled like a tom. What about her though? She was a she-cat… she thought so at least, and she thought she was born a she-cat too. Mommy and Daddy had never told her otherwise, she had always been a she-cat. So… so why? Why were others confused about her gender? Why did they sometimes call her the wrong thing? Was… was there something actually wrong with them that they weren’t aware of?
[ @/dino. Hehehehe have fun with this
Oogh. Okay. One of these talks.
Bumblestar curled her tail, eyes narrowing. "Absolutely nothing is wrong with you," she practically bit out, "'n if anyone's ever tried to insinuate that to you, you give me a name 'n I'll go handle it right now. Yeah, you smell a little bit different, but that's not a bad thing, 'n it doesn't dictate what you go by. Is there somethin' specific you want to go by?"
Wheatpaw
{A small golden kit with white freckles and gentle green eyes}
He paused at the entrance. Nervousness tingling up his paws. Maybe I shouldn't. No I have to! Summoning up all the courage he had he stepped into the den. "Bumblestar there's something I need to ask you about." He hoped his voice stayed strong and didn't sound as unsure as he felt. His paws wouldn't take him further into the den so he hovered by the entrance. The courage he mustered was the only thing keeping him there and it was waning fast. He was afraid of embarrassing himself in front of Bumblestar and the more he thought about the more it made him want to leave.
Oh, the apprentice who'd needed a name change. Bumblestar lifted her head to blink at him as he stepped into her den. Why did everyone who came by here think she was going to bite them or something? "What's up?"

@dino.
The dreaded conversation. One he didn't want to have. No. Not because he hated it, but because it was awkward! Having this conversation would further solidify the fact that they were his. Which they weren't. A sigh overcame the tom as he stepped into the leader's den. No hello no sign of him coming in. Just taking a step with a disgruntled expression.
Finally. After sorting through every which way he could say it, he finally swallowed his frog. "We gotta talk...about the brats." he began, a long pause, nose wriggling as his head went from just below his shoulders, to looking over his sholders. To up lobbed over on the side.
"The two that snuck out. They gotta be held back a moon apprentice wise...I ain't condonin that behavior."
"Y'know, I think this might be the first time you've come in here not soaked in blood." Bumblestar flicked an ear at her deputy as he entered without announcing himself. "But yeah, your brats've been a pain in my ass. Spiderlingkit and... what was the other one? Cricketkit?"
She sat up and reached out to swat his shoulder. "You really need to keep a better eye on 'em. They're definitely being held back. Heck, I'd even say wait 'till the rest of their siblings are done 'n then rank 'em up after instead of just holdin' em back for the moon."
Oh, he feels awful. Not from an emotional standpoint, mind you, but from a physical one. His head hurts. His body is sore. He's couching and his nose is runny with the tell-tale blood of those who have this mystery illness. Pinepaw and Raccoontail are sick too. Raccoon, at least, seems less severe, but it's better to assume the worst so Hollow's forcing them into the quarantine camp too. First, though... he should probably report to Bumble. Who the hell even got him sick?? Was it everyone he'd attempted to treat? Was it Bravepaw? ...was it Silverpaw? Oh, it would be that moron, wouldn't it. Regardless... he's sick and there's nothing to be done about that except wait for this mystery prophecy cure.
"Bumblestar," he says, poking his head into her den but not entering. This illness is highly contagious, he's not risking one of his leader's lives. "Pinepaw, Raccoontail 'nd myself are all showin' signs of the sickness. Raccoon's not as severe but I want 'em at the quarantine just 'n case. 'Ve got Carrioncaller who's gonna come with the three of us. I'll-" a break in speech to cough into his forearm. He ignores the way his fur comes back a little redder. "I'll do what I can there- treatment wise, I mean. Can't be here, though." He'd anticipate some frustration at himself getting ill, but he's not immune. He's just a novice healer. Nothing more nothing less.
It was only a matter of time before one or both of the medicine cats fell ill. Stars, Bumblestar really wished the trio would just hurry up and get BACK already, because having the cure on paw would make things so much easier. Her muzzle pulled into a grimace at Hollowpaw's revelation and the bloody cough. She blamed Silverpaw for this.
"Alright... thanks for the heads up. While you're there, you've got seniority over the others, alongside Wolfhive 'n Spiderthroat. Play it safe. Don't need to lose you before we've even made progress here."
"Y'know, I think this might be the first time you've come in here not soaked in blood." Bumblestar flicked an ear at her deputy as he entered without announcing himself. "But yeah, your brats've been a pain in my ass. Spiderlingkit and... what was the other one? Cricketkit?"

A snort came from the tom. He could be classy at times. Wasn't his fault he'd helped get rid of stupid aggressive things that dangered the clan at times. Although to be fair most of the time it was his own blood. Something something maybe he stuck his nose in places it shouldn't be something something.
The calico listened as she spoke up about the pair that decided it would be smart to go off and put themselves in danger attempting to follow him. Ears lowering at the mention of them being left behind in apprenticehood. It rubbed him the wrong way. Yes. He wanted them to learn. But that group of brats were close with one another.
Mouth twitching as he attempted to word what exactly he was feeling. This feeling in particular was peculiar. Something he couldn't place or explain...A long moment before stifling a sigh. "I get. I get that they should be punished for pulling that kind of stunt...I do. But I just had Mantiskit sob because she realized her siblins are gettin their ceremonies without her." a pause as he wracked his brain with words. How could he explain what he was feeling without the proper words to describe it.
"I can't agree with you on your suggestion...but I also recognize my own suggestion is far too lax."

But these fingers and these palms
Full of love despite the scars
They show indisputably I have so much more to grow
Oh, I can change, I can evolve
I can get up when I fall
I'll live contentedly, I don't need a reason why
Standing tall and standing strong
I have found where I belong
In the arms of somebody, there is no more need to cry
