"It's fine!" She chirped. The pain was already fading. A little. Kind of. Clearly what she needed to do was keep moving! And Beachheart just gave them the perfect excuse to do so. Seapaw got a good handle on her leg. Wow, Claypaw could already see how this could be effective! She could barely move her leg if he clamped on a bit harder. Even if he had, though, Claypaw was nothing if not a determined cat. "Look, Seapaw, a gull!" She looked up at the sky, towards where the imaginary bird was. Even if he didn't fall for it, Claypaw would yank her leg out of his grasp. She hopped back a step with a giggle. "'Kay, my turn to try right?" Claypaw tried to get close again to not-too-seriously bite down on Seapaw's hind leg.

A gull? Huh, they supposed they were often nearby - but, when they looked to the sky, they saw nothing. Oh, and Claypaw's leg escaped their grasp. Oops! It was pretty easy to get distracted, huh? "Haha, you got me!" He smiled, glad that Claypaw didn't seem too fazed by the hit anymore. "Guess I'm going again!" He darted round, and tried to grasp Claypaw's back leg [rolled: 4] - he almost did it, but slipped at the last second, "oh darn it," he exclaimed, not sounding very upset about it - more entertained than anything. "Your turn again!"

Claypaw now understood the joy of pranks. Maybe she'll have to pull some more in the future. Or maybe she'll stick to doing them in sparring events. Who knew? Certainly not her. As Seapaw slipped, she jumped forward to try and grab his leg.

Unfortunately she overshot the jump, and missed him! "Wow, this move sure seems harder than the last one!"

Part of her almost wanted to feel bad about some apprentices being sent back to camp, but what was the point in coming if they weren't going to train? Sprucepaw moreso felt awkward, being shuffled around again. She walked over to Patchpaw, giving the faintest of nods. It would be poor form to not give some form of greeting, but dejection kept her from any grand gestures. "Um... Beachheart? Do you want us to practice the badger defense move?"

Winterpaw looked at the warrior. Bite leg but no teeth?? What. It sighed, but it would get it. It ducked again like last time, before waiting a few seconds, then trying to attack the leg.

[Rolled a D6-5=latched on] he pounced forward, wevering a bit and Aimed for winterpaw's leg hoping it would dodge right. [Rolled a D4-1=Loss, if winterpaw dodges then its a loss, if winterpaw is unable to dodge, beachHeart has grabbed its leg «•« ▇▆▅▃▂▁

Winterpaw [rolled a 9] dodged left, and was annoyed that the cat was pretty good. Angry it couldn't do better. And then it kept moving, and moved forward to try again. It didn't notice the paw. And then it absolutely failed to do anything, sliding past the warrior like it was on ice. [1, rolled a 4 for the other thing]
