Chaos. Badgerpaw woke with a start to utter chaos. There were cats yowling orders over the pounding of rain, the sound of branches creaking and snapping, shrieks of alarm.
Of course, his first thought had been Riverclan. They've come back to finish us all off, they're going to slaughter us all, oh Starclan. And then he'd taken about three second to shake his brains back into his head, recognize what was happening, and get out. The loss of some of his collection of interesting bits and bobs he's found while out would hurt, but not worse than losing a limb or life. Quickly scooping up the most treasured piece of his collection - a medium-sized bone with interesting grooves that he thought must've once been a rabbit's leg - he shot out of the den like there was a monster chasing after him.
He only paused for a moment once outside, glancing back at where some other apprentices were still stuck inside. They'll be fine, he reasoned, there's tons of warriors helping out, and given my inexperience I'd probably just get trapped and make things worse. He dragged his gaze away and hurried further from the den so he wasn't blocking the way in or out for any cats.

Wolfhive's movement was what woke Bumblestar. She didn't think much of it at first, and shifted to steal the spot of warmth he'd left. She could hear it pouring outside and wasn't interested in going out in that.

Then water dripped onto her head, and his shout echoed over the sound of the downpour, sending her to her paws and outside in a second.

The apprentices' den had collapsed? Stars, they couldn't catch a break. And someone was screaming. Brackenclaw was helping Cypresspaw, so she shifted over to where Badgerpaw was standing to check him for injuries. Nothing, good to know. "Get to the elders' den," she ordered, giving him a gentle nudge with her shoulder. "Fawnpaw, Poppypaw, Nettlepaw, that goes for you three as well! Elders' den, now!" If they didn't move, she was going to make them. "Lightningpaw-" Where the hell had those injuries come from?? "Get your ass to Wolfpaw 'n Hollowpaw immediately."

With a nod to buzzy, Tinyowl began to look for wayward apprentices.

"apprentices that are injured or may be sicks, gather
rounds me! ill bring yous to the meddy cats! everyone else, to the elders den! hops to it!"

Hoots flicked his tail, hoping the young cats listened to him.

Why was it whenever he came into camp, he was always met with some sort of Chaos? Wasting no more time than he already had, Spiderthroat made his way towards Wolfhive. He sure did come off as the leaders son in these times that's for sure. Appearing just behind Bumblestar, the calico ducking into the Apprentices den to help hold the ceiling with the hornet and the other warrior.

"You heard the lady you brats. All apprentices get to the elders den, make sure they're all safe and accounted for...if we even got any. Pretty sure it's one sorry sap and I'm sure they'd love to see all of you this late at night." he called as he ducked in, lightly kicking a nearby apprentice to get them into gear [ OPEN] .

Cramped was all he could think as he shuffled in. "If any of you are stuck yell now or just become one with the walls. " he yelled once more. Moreso loud talk if that even truthfully. If no one yelled for help, he would simply help hold the ceiling up so the other two could slowly inch their way out.

A voice. Twistedpaw’s eyes moved up, locking on a blurry, moving figure almost blending in with the collapsed den walls – but it spoke, and Twistedpaw was not as much of a fool to ignore a voice. Either Mister Bunny had gained sentience, or this was one of her fellow denmates, and though every sense screamed at her to stay hidden in a corner and prey the walls wouldn’t collapse upon her head, the soaked little apprentice clutched her eyes shut and pressed herself tightly against Brindlepaw with little hesitation, feeling a sense of safety at the proximity with another living being.
“I can’t see the way out.”
She tapped the ground, a mild protest, awkwardly trying to sign the few words, but sticking close to Brindlepaw all the same, trying to walk alongside her denmate despite the violent rain crashing down making it difficult to walk, and the breaking den leaving her path in shambles – hopefully not for Brindlepaw.

But suddenly, she felt herself being picked up from the ground. A panicked gaze tried to find Brindlepaw as her paws swung in the air and through the chaos of the moments it took far too long to realise it was a warrior of the clan, carrying her by the scruff and out of the den, the now soaked young apprentice squirming in the wake. She tried to tap the warrior’s side, the warrior’s face, paws flying out in front of her as she signed--
“Friend, friend!”
--and pointed in direction of where she feared Brindlepaw had been left behind.

Even as she was set down outside the den, thoroughly soaked and a sneeze escaping her nose from the commotion, trembling within the oddly frigid air and dark of night. Still, she looked for Brindlepaw out in the chaos, even when a pouting Poppypaw wrapped a tail around her and – with wobbled movements – urged Twistedpaw away from the apprentice’s den and towards that of the elders. Twistedpaw repeatedly tapped the ground in protest, but felt futile trying to fight against an apprentice much older than herself, forced to stumble along through the blurry darkness as she tried to look back. Hopefully Brindlepaw would make it out alright…

Cougarpaw was laying soundly in his new den his dreams filled with pleasant comforts when he was ripped from his dream by a loud commanding voice and the pawsteps of his fellow apprentices. He looked up confused what was the deputy doing in their den “THE roofs collapsing” he vaguely made out over the commotion as he got up he felt a weight on his tail a clump of the nest had fallen he grimaced just his luck he pulled hard and freed himself though his tail now has a decent sized cut. Great!..he thought bitterly he trotted past Spiderthroat he was scared but he would never show it now where was the elders den surely nearby he looked around aimlessly his vision for some reason was impaired he sighed in frustration

Cottonpaw blinked, she'd hit her head on something. Or no, something hit her head? Regardless the apprentice was dazzed, feeling dizzy and like she needed to puke, stumbling towards the entrance, red liquid filled her gaze. Is that..... blood? My blood? Am I hurt?

COPPERPAW

The apprentice was sleeping in the back of the den, dreaming of chasing mice in an endless forest of identical trees. It was confusing but peaceful. That is, until one of the trees crashed down in front of him.

“AHH!” he screeched, lurching awake. The tree had not been a dream. At least, not entirely. Several branches that had previously provided shelter to the den had landed in front of him, just hair lengths away from his paws. Trembling, he got to his feet and shook the rain drops out of his pelt. Wolfhive’s voice could be heard faintly in the background.

It took him several minutes to find a hole in the branch pile large enough to slip through, but once he did he rushed to join the others, ears flattened against his head in irritation at the soggy conditions. As he passed the entrance to the failing den, he took note of a couple apprentices who seemed to be held up by injury or daze. He paused for a moment, offering a silent shoulder to Cottonpaw [ @ChromeSilver_Hwaa ]. That blood didn’t look good.

“C’mon,” he instructed, “To the elder’s den we go.”
