Rainkit was mentally screaming with delight, but she silently approached the front of the crowd. Her chest was puffed out pridefully and her blue gaze focused solely on Dawnstar. At that moment, nothing else mattered to her. It didn't matter her siblings were here, it didn't matter the clan was gathering, it only mattered that she was being named an apprentice. She could finally be useful in something! Could meet friends! Could no longer be alone!

Fogwatcher was greeted delightfully from Hillstrider. It spooked him for half a moment, but he gathered his composure and offered a grin. His teeth flashed in the sunlight, eyes shimmering with glee, he allowed himself to expand from his comfort zone. He pushed away the stoic look he usually held for this delightful creature besides him. The energy was too intoxicating to ignore! He wasn't as pretty as the pretty kitty he'd been following around, but he couldn't help but admire for a moment. "Heyya!" He'd reply before Dawnstar started the announcements.
His gaze shifted from the to-be apprentices and towards Hillstrider. His tail moved to flick his hip and get his attention again. "Think we'll be getting apprentices this round?" Fogwatcher would inquire in a hushed tone.

Re: The Shadowledge
“Ha! You’re trying to become Magpiestar?” He asked with a grin, nudging her playfully. “I think you could totally do it. You’re the coolest apprentice in this Clan!” He exclaimed. His tail flicked and eyes shined as he joked around with Magpiepaw.
When she brought up mentor he paused for a minute. “I don’t know where my mentor is. It’s sad too. I really liked Hickorysplinter. Even if we never got to train at all. I think Dawnstar’s gonna give me a new one. Maybe today? I dunno. But I’m eager to train! I’m itching to start learning new stuff then what I already know!” He complained. He’d been here for 2 moons and he hadn’t learned anything, except for from Magpiepaw, and stuff he’d picked up along the way from other cats. It was kind of frustrating.
QUILLKIT
he/him. 5 moons. dark grey tom; tabby markings; light grey markings, amber and blue eyes. [ no purrks ]
quillkit's large ears perk at the sound of his name (and many other names, including his siblings) being called up for an apprentice ceremony. anticipation prickles at his paws, but he forced himself to calm down and stand up. the kit pads towards the front of the crowd, head held high. despite his cool demeanor, he was screaming and giggling mentally.
Salamanderkit listened from the nursery. She was far too timid to leave the nursery, and the sight of their leader terrified the moon old kit, who was tiny even for such a young kit. Dawnstar was scarred and she was so big... Bigger than most of the other big cats. And she didn't know her. That meant that she was strange, big, and even scarier than the other strange and big cats. Young Salamanderkit was pretty sure that she was related to Dawnstar, but that didn't make her any less scary to the extremely timid young kit.

Twistedkit stepped up. The seven moon old kit's twisted front leg was held just off of the ground, not slowing her down at all. Even now that Twistedkit was beng apprenticed Twistedkit stilll wondered if she had done something bad without knowing, she just didn't deserve to be an apprentice until now, or nothing along those lines and that was why she had had to wait an extra moon for her apprentince cermony while her only littermate who hadn't been missing for quite a while, Sharppaw had gotten to become an apprentice during the meeting after she reached six moons of age, though she was pretty sure that Sharppaw had recently gone missing.

She smiled widely at his first remark. Of course she could! Magpiepaw was so devoted and skilled, she'd have to get a high rank sooner or later. She was over the moon that she already had a cat that truly believed she could do it. One day, that deputy title would be as good as hers!
This whole mentor situation however made her lips curl. That situation sounded a whole lot like hers. She herself had been mentorless for at least a moon until Springblossom took Magpiepaw under her wing. Even though she had yet to learn ANYTHING very useful, her new mentor was obviously making an effort.
Magpiepaw shook her head as her lips pulled back further. "My goodness, what is it with warriors disappearing as soon as they get an apprentice? Mine did the same thing! How insulting."

Mothcloud stood up. Joy flaring in her eyes as she moved to the front of the crowd. Her eyes gleamed with joy. Twistedkit was at last becoming an apprentice!

Mothcloud licked her daughters ears swiftly as she stepped up. Her eyes gleamed with joy, "I'll call our name the loudest. You deserve this my little kit" Mothcloud said gently, her eyes filled with pride and grief
Brownkit shuffled to the front of the crowd to sit underneath the Shadowledge. She was going to have so many apprentices to train with! And there were two new warriors being made, too. Brownkit's heart felt warm with happiness for them.
