He loved Poppyshine with his dear heart, and so due to him loosing one cat because other cats had a problem with it, he felt the need to step in and stop it. Sending that the kit-warrior she was babysitting was getting his fur prickly, Mirehound decided to pay closer attention. If needed she would dye in, but for right now blue eyes simply watched the exchange in between finishing her grooming.

[Observational post]

Being back in camp was a strange feeling after all that time in captivity, but large scarred molly felt the need to be present a lot now that she had returned, and she needed to catch up on what was going on anyway, so she had tried to be more observant on what was being talked about around camp. Sure, gossip had never been an interest of hers, but she didn't like not knowing things, and listening to her clanmates' rather trivial life events was worth it to be kept in the loop.

But today nothing much seemed to be happening. One apprentice and warrior planning to go and train, two other warriors caught up in some kind of... whatever that mess was. Lovers' quarrel wasn't any of her business or interest, and she tried to tune all that out, not wanting to feel even more disgusted with it all. But it was hard to keep out when Foxtooth stepped in, and Owlgfather almost groaned a little. Unless that became anything bigger, she would try and not to pay attention for the sake of her sanity.

Flamecall turns their gaze to him, and a flaming anger is obvious in their eyes. "I do not. And if I did, it would be none of your concern." They bite back another retort before they say it.

Another quiet day in camp, and the recently returned molly had once more taken her post in camp, watching and listening. She had been informed about the 'buddy system' as it seemed to be called, not unlike the rule that had been in place a year ago, and she therefore couldn't simply go out and hunt like she used to in her freetime, or patrol the borders, or any other small tasks like that that she used to bussy herself with, instead she was stuck in camp unless she wanted to try and find hunting partners, and she wasn't in the mood for that now. But being in camp wasn't bad, as she needed to get caught up on everything that had happened, after all, and listening to her clanmates' gossip, though draining and often annoying, did offer insight into the recent events.

An ear, almost torn to pieces, twitched slightly as a clanmate of hers spoke to themselves not far from her, and Owlfeather's attention shifted to them a little. "You hope that who gets caught in Riverclan territory?" Knowing the level of her clanmate's smartness, it certainly wouldn't surprise her if one had taken to there to try find something to and sharpen their claws against.

The small enforcer commander stretched, pausing in her path from Elmshadow’s den. She glanced at the nursery. She realized she should probably go check on Elmshadow’s kits but the thought of going into the cramped den anymore than she needed to made her pelt crawl. Luckily, her attention was grabbed by something else. Her blue eyes first found Owlfeather. Cougarivy was aware that the she-cat had been Elmshadow’s mentor and the two of them had taken care of the camp while she had accompanied Dawnstar in the Thunderclan coup so many moons ago, but then she’d turned up missing soon after. She was rather curious about the older she-cat but too quickly she realized Owlfeather’s attention was focused, and what it was focused on. Cougarivy moved herself jauntily within earshot of Owlfeather’s questioning of Dawnglare and Dawnglare’s…interesting response. Cougarivy smiled, her head cocking slightly. Was the former kittypet implying he’d been out alone to run into these “old friends” of his? Or was there another Shadowclanner with him who’d simply let a kittypet walk away unscathed after trespassing in their territory? And there was no room for arguing ignorance, not that that would’ve been a valid excuse to her, as he followed it up directly with musings about having “buddies stuck beside you”. Interesting indeed, she was sure few were as enraptured by the tom’s next moves as she was, though she found herself rather curious about how Owlfeather would handle this as well.
