For once, Orangepaw wasn't quite sure what to say.
This shouldn't be bothering him.
He's amazing, plenty of other cats like him!

Peachpaw's questions and words bug him.
Obviously he's not happy Snowpaw's gone, but he's gotta get over it, he's not gonna linger on that.
And the clear implications of what Peachpaw wants him to do...
Go off and rot. Like a pathetic worm.

Too bad, Orangepaw's too good for that, ThunderClan's stuck with him.
He decided to scoff.
"Listen, I answered your question. You wanted to know if I saw Snowpaw, I said no," He stated, before sarcasm dripped into his tone once again "I'm so sorry you couldn't handle a fact."

He's not walking away first, that's for sure.
Peachpaw'll have to suck it up and leave if he wants this to end.
Is Orangepaw mature? No. Does he think he's better for not backing down? Yes.
Is it true? That's up to interpretation.(it is in fact not, Orangepaw's being ridiculous)

Nettlepaw sat grumpily in the corner of the clearing, under a spot where the snow just barely got to them. It seemed like anywhere they went they couldn’t get out of its way, and it was very annoying. But Nettlepaw knew not to complain — you couldn’t argue with the weather, and yowling in the snow would catch you a chill.

They were a bit bored, but since apprentices (could they even call themself that anymore? they’d done all their training..) weren’t allowed outside camp without a warrior to supervise them, all they could do was sit and wait. They weren’t really in the best mood either — they were still thinking about that little chat they’d had with Bumblestar.

It wasn’t very pleasant to think about. Talking about their own sister like that. But it was true! they thought in their mind, but Nettlepaw shook the thought away, shaking their fur as well in order to get any snow off their fur. Somehow, the flowers were still weaved deep in their fur — they had no clue how, but it was quite weird, yet also quite nice. The aster and lavender still looked.. somewhat nice, but they knew they had to go sooner or later.

While they were thinking about it, Nettlepaw had also been arranging a bunch of leaves from a nearby bush into an ornate pattern. They’d done it since they were a kit; it was easy, not harmful to the bush since it could always grow it back, and it was pretty entertaining in situations like this when the apprentice had nothing to do.

So, in short, Nettlepaw was bored. Very bored. Very, very very bored.

[ Fawnshadow exited the warriors den with a stretch. Looking around the clearing the calico she-cat spotted Nettlepaw sitting alone. Fawn huffed a giggle as she watched the apprentice avoid the snow. Though, Nettle looked almost like a warrior, wasn't it about due time for their training to be over? Hm, oh well. Fawnshadow shrugged and made her way over. ]

{``Hiya, kiddo! I was gonna go on a walk, and I saw you sitting here. You can tag along if you'd like. Get moving and all, then hopefully you won't be so cold!``}

[ The feline mewed. Shaking her own pelt as to warm herself up. ]

Nettlepaw was just finishing off one of their patterns, when they looked up to face Fawnshadow. This she-cat seemed nice enough, and she was offering to take them out on a walk. That would.. probably be pleasant. They liked going on walks, especially when they got to go hunting on the walks. Hunting was nice. “Oh.. hello.” they mewed softly to Fawnshadow.

But they were about to finish their work, and they didn’t want it to get messed up if they were going out. Some reckless kit would probably come barrelling into it, and make that ornate design into a mess of leaves in its fur. They wouldn’t want to tell anyone, but Nettlepaw didn’t really like kits. When they became a warrior, they knew they’d probably never had any — what would they even do with them? And it wasn’t nice to think about the nursery; a bundled up place full of yowling kittens and little to no freedom! It sounded like torture, but from what Nettlepaw had seen, queens were always having the times of their lives. Maybe they were being threatened by Bumblestar to say that. Yuck.

Nettlepaw snapped back to reality, realising that they’d just gone into a rant within their own mind about kits. How did they even get there? Well, they knew they had to make up their mind about this walk.
“Mhhh.. okay.. I’ll come.” they murmured hesitantly, nodding their head before getting to their paws.

[ Fawnshadow started walking towards the camp entrance, waving her tail to some warriors nearby. The calico she-cat had to admit, she was surprised Nettlepaw actually said yes to join her. Apprentices were usually.. not.. lazy.. more of just.. ugh what would be the word. Hm, yeah, lazy. Fawn liked having apprentices, she liked hearing about what was going on in there life, hoping she'd keep her own appie memories alive. ]

Nettlepaw shook out their fur. “Maybe Willow’s Rise?” they asked, before attempting to very carefully shuffle their ornate little wall of leaves out of the way of anyone. They could only move it a couple of claw-lengths before they knew it would topple over if moved any further. It would probably take a miracle for the pile to not get ruined by the time they came back. but Nettlepaw didn’t want to think about that for now. That was a matter for another time.
