Duskleaf made his way over at Fadingstar's call. He was looking forward to this meeting, and his excitement was quite evident from his expression as he found his spot for the meeting, sitting down with his eyes fixed on the Starpoint, awaiting what Fadingstar had to say.

Marigoldpaw was staring off into space, daydreaming. That was before the sharp urgent shrill call of Fadingstar pierced through her ears and rang through her sensitive hairs. Oh the noise, so much noise. The other meeting was merely sunrises ago, this one was probably urgent. Okay okay, time to be a good apprentice! Just a few pawsteps towards the Floodstone Starpoint and all would be fine. She'd listen this time. She wouldn't break down and wallow like a kit. Nope. Well, hopefully not, that last time was more than embarrassing... Did she have to cry all the time? It was almost unusual for her eyes not to feel a bit misty.

Marigoldpaw was suddenly overcome with emotion as she looked down at her moving paws. Her brisk pace, her thickening fur, her (mostly) jubilant eyes. She felt like a kit again. Not the kit she was before but more like... She truly felt good about her pace in life. Things were finally making sense, even if the sudden move from her home, the home she tried so hard to get back to, almost threatened to pull her under, the stars bent reality to her will and she was still standing. A bit scared and still thin enough to break like a twig, but here nonetheless. This leader seemed like someone who would stay (Marigoldpaw really hoped for that, she probably wouldn't know how to feel if the murderer deputy had to take Fadingstar's place. Plus, that'd just be more things to learn and figure out. Learning was all fine and dandy, but it was starting to become stressful trying to keep up with things.)


"OOFMPH!" Marigoldpaw exclaimed, useless paws sprawling out as white fur collided with another furry body. At first, Marigoldpaw thought it was a rock (she seemed to have a thing for bumping into rocks) given how many were here. But no, it was another cat, one about her size. Hazel eyes blinked rapidly as she pulled herself from the shock. Once her eyelids slid open to look at the cat she so rudely bumped into, she wasn't at all shocked that she didn't recognize her.

Apologize! You should definitely do that! Uh, and introduce yourself!

"Sorry, sorry, sorry! I uh, wasn't watching were I was going, I was actually looking at my paws, haha.... But uh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bump into you and disturb you because that's pretty word. I meant no harm, promise! Gee, I'm a klutz. Oh my name's Marigoldpaw! Very, very nice to meet you! Um, what's your name?"

There was never a quiet day in the clans, and Riverclan was no exception. Owltalon had been sniffing around, trying to find a bird to maul and rip the head off it, but she hadn't been successful. Plus, she'd have to feed the kits and elders before she could even do that and make a trophy out of the birds skull. Skulls, Owltalon thought dreamily as she quikened her pace towards the Starpoint, her one eyed gaze far off. Oh how she wished she could've taken that fox skull with her from Riverclan. Yes, it had smelt of rot and dying but it was pretty cool. Owltalon doubted she'd come across a gem like that anytime soon which was a real shame.

The Lionheart unsheathed her claws and drew circles into the hard rock, smiling gingerly at the funky and jagged shapes she'd made. Maybe she'd find a skull eventually. Just as long as nocat saw her. Right, right, meeting. This meeting was happening now. Owltalon had to be present, she was positive there'd be something for her to look out for.

So, she straightened up her posture and offered Fadingstar a friendly gaze. "I'm all ears chief. Kinda distracted, but I'm 'ere." She murmured to herself, the usual routine for Owltalon. Some habits are just hard to break.

MEETING

Fishpaw was minding her own business until she was suddenly tumbled over by
an unfamiliar cat. She looked at the cat Infront of her, she figured since they
were the same height that this cat must be an apprentice to. She got herself
back on to her paws as the cat started to talk.

"Oh! No worries! Happens to me sometimes!" she took a breathe before
starting to talk again. "I like that name! Well i'm Fishpaw, nice to meet you
marigoldpaw" she said with a soft tone as she finally collected herself and
sat down Infront of the she-cat.
