₊˚.༄ ೃ - Lynxshade was observing the speech with interest, noticing how most cats were cheering in unison for the newly-made apprentices at the young age of six moons. There was something charming about the ceremony, and suddenly she wished she'd had her own. In the wilderness, without a clan there was just family and surviving. No one celebrated your arrival at six moons.

She decided to join in, showing a smile for the three new apprentices that were now meeting their mentors. "Albatrosspaw! Featherpaw! Ashpaw!"
The following ceremony was much more plain and brought evident pain to Dawnstar, who didn't look pleased with this thing called "reassignments". She noted mentally not to get involved in them.

Dawnstar's last words were shocking. Lynxshade widened her eyes and she came to know that two young cats in Shadowclan had been... murdered. By another clan.
She looked at Dawnstar with evident shock on her face, unable to believe that her leader would let this pass like nothing happened. Was it her way of maintaining peace? Could leaders really do something as ruthless and murderous as to kill young cats for trespassing?

There was so much that Lynxshade still didn't know about these cats.

Foxstrike managed to appear calm, but inside he was grinning like an idiot. My first apprentice!He walked slowly over to Ash and touched noses with her cautiously. "Hello, Ashpaw," he said, barely concealing his excitement.

Stars dammit, she was late. Eyes flitled over the already gathered cats as the slim tabby slipped silently beside Deerpaw, giving him a slight bump of her shoulder as she sat close to the bigger brown tom, relishing in his warmth. Chilly as it was, and even with her pride as big as the sun, it felt nice sitting beside him, so close to him. Her soft blue eyes meet his yellow ones for a moment before locking her attention back on Dawnstar, clearing he throat.

Her ear twitched at the next announcement, seeming she had missed the first one about lynxes or something. So, Whiteclaw finally went missing? Her new mentor would be a cat named Iceclaw. A low tsk sound came from the pretty silver apprentice as she looked over at Deerpaw. "Must say, Deerie, I do hate to say this but, I must depart," She spoke teasingly, flicking his chin with her tail as she rose and strode away, winking. Now, only to find this Iceclaw or whoever that was. She assumed he would be a white cat, or some form of white at least.

One minute Rainypaw was here, commenting about the lynxes, and the next moment she'd slipped away - fluid as water, that one. But no matter, she needed to go find her new mentor. Deerpaw had been through that before, and had personally requested Snowecho as his new mentor, and he couldn't be happier about that. When everyone cheered for the new apprentices, he cheered with them, wondering just how long it might be until his own warrior ceremony... Would he ever have one? Was he even remotely good enough? Sure, he'd done basic battle and basic hunting training, but he hadn't gotten to the advanced stuff yet... stars, would he need to participate in fights now that he had a small amount of training under his belt?? The thought of that was almost nauseating...
