“Voles, little one” she began, beginning to stalk something… “yes, Fish, no… although uncommon to find a Vole, it’s not impossible… You’re so much more likely to find a lizard or frog of some sort due to the warm water. For example,” she waved the cat over with her tail to reveal what she had been watching. It appeared to be a lizard of some kind… “Lizards have a very strong sense of hearing, so you have to be super quiet…” creeping forward, she pounced, landing square on the scaly creature.

PebbleSplash purred happily, even pointing to her catch… “If we both catch two prey, we can go for a quick swim, if you’re interested. It’s okay to have fun after putting in work.” She purred softly… “Show me your hunting stance, I would like to see your form…” she purred softly…

The apprentice looked down at the answer. How could she forget. The frogs and lizards, she knew that. She flicked her tail, watching the older molly land on the lizard. Lizards, of which she hadnever caught before. Or seen, if she were to be honest. She smiked gently. "you would have to teach me, i havent learned yet," she giggled, smiling. Her hunting stance was next. She took a deep breath, carefully finding balance on her three legs, before crouching setting her tail closer to the ground as a stabilizer.

PebbleSplash was impressed, especially since the fellow molly had a disability. “Excellent, your balance is quite impressive, considering some apprentices with all 4 legs struggle much much harder.” She hoped that wasn’t offensive in any sort of way. She was trying her hardest to be encouraging… “Now, show me your pounce…”

She nodded, smiling. "thank you!" she whispered, seeing a lizard itself. She carefully, and slowly, crept up on it, before pouncing, landong on its tail, before moving one paw onto its torso, brraking its ribs with some weight. "like that?" she said, picking it up carefully, heading back to the warrior, setting it down next to the other's prey with a smile. "i think thats the best ive done yet!" she smiled, flicking her tail happily.

She crouched again, deciding on the best way to catch the prey. She pounced, landing on it, before stumbling forward with a small laugh.

As for PebbleSplash, she had went off to stalk the rare snake. This was a bit risky but she was willing to test it. As she approached, the snake caught sense of her and snapped its jaws in her direction… The beautiful molly jumped back, batting her paw at the scaly creature. She’d need a different approach, a faster one. Circling around the vicious reptile, she hissed as it jumped for her one more time. She once again swatted at it, hitting the snake across its head. Her wack caused it to duck away and PebbleSplash took her chance to pounce. She landed directly on its head with a crunch and once she was sure it was dead, carried it over to bury while they had their fun… Digging a hole, she dropped both her snake and lizard in and covered it. “Whose ready for a dip?”

The molly winced, watching the older cat carefully. She watched the older cat catch the snake, and seemingly got extremely excited. "woah! That was amazing!" she purred, smiling
She bojnced on her paws, her eyes shining with undeniable excitement. She could never do that, or so she thought, but that was mainly because of herproblems with balance. She smiled at the question. "yeah!you will have to teach me though... It might be a bit harder," she laughed, stepping closer to the warn water, burrying her prey after spending a couple minutes digging a hole big enough for the prey, dropping them in, and covering it again, sticking a stick in the dirt abovr them. It was to helo her remember where they were. Her... Scenting things wasnt the greatest, so she had to remind herself like this. With a stick. Much like a small tree for a small world.

The molly nodded, smiling as she stepped into the warm water, smiling with a small purr. "the water's nice, actually!" she purred, smiling gently as she stepped further in, carefully. She flicked her tail, gently, and smiled. She shook her head after dipping it in the warm water, water droplets making a small sound in the water.

"Yep! Though, if you see anything else feel free to ask me. Most likely, it's something we're running out of." He hadn't actually told the other group to find something specific, but that wasn't too big an issue. Most everyone was injured in one way or another, and it seemed like anything would be better than what they had now. Though, as Wormbite lifted a paw and promptly retracted it, Stonepaw felt a twinge of doubt. He had felt it better to get an adult guide than for the two apprentices to go on their own, but maybe he should have put Wormbite with someone else and gotten Gingerfrost or Sedgestorm to come with him.

"So, that was goldenrod, but if you see any marigold, that would be good too! It's orange and frilly and it smells sort of musty? Like wet wood." As they arrived at the springs, he turned his head to look around, beginning to move towards the word to look around it's edges.
