"You think im a waste of time dont you" she said plainly breaking eye contact for a second

She had some hurt in her eye but she was used to it

After a few seconds she answered her question

"I came out here to connect with myself" she said she said with some excitment because she was talking about stuff she liked

She then stared at her waiting for her to say something

Hm. Ravenpaw must be proficient at reading body language or something of the sort. To combat this, I shall make my mind go blank. I don't need anyone having insight into my private thoughts. This was negative points for Ravenpaw. Being forced to become guarded all the time wouldn't be fun if Peachpaw began interacting with Ravenpaw more. "I don't think you're a waste of time! Sorry if I seem a bit impatient or standoffish, just a bit tired from training! Connect with yourself? How so?" she asked curiously.

She then stopped shifting her body langauge showing what she thought which disappointed her a little

"I know what its like to be tired" she said while a memory came to mind which upseted her

"Huh what, connecting with myself um you probaly wouldnt understand" she said with a little emotion but soon fixed that

Peachpaw nodded. "Welp!" she said abruptly. "I'd better be off then. Gotta get back before anyone notices I'm gone," Peachpaw said, walking away. She made a mental note to avoid talking to Ravenpaw in the future.

Ravenpaw watched in disappointment and a bit of sadness as peachpaw walked away

“Bye” she said as smooth as she currently can knowing that she would never talk to her

She then went backup the tree and started thinking

Sparrowpelt couldn't hide the amusement behind his gaze. He wanted to believe Alderstep was kidding about his StarClan comment, but part of him new he might not be. Either way, the tom started back towards camp, waving his tail for the other to follow, or even take lead. He was happy to have provided for his clanmates, even if he made a fool of himself in the process.

Well, now he didn't know what was more annoying. The fact that his insults had no apparent effect on Sparrowpelt or the way the other warrior had that look in his eyes. Alderstep grumbled around the mouse in his mouth, settling to follow behind Sparrowpelt. He found himself blinking rapidly, trying to settle down. No need to get worked up over a damn mouse, now. After a short exhale, Alderstep found himself more...annoyed than angry. Well, that was something. Eh. Whatever. Be humiliated now, but not when he got back to camp. Fine. He'd admit that Sparrowpelt had pulled through by snagging a mouse from its hole. There. That's all. Alderstep picked up his pace, settling in biting-range of the other cat's tail, not that he'd be biting Sparrowpelt or anything. Just keeping close.

Gentle wind rustled the hanging branches of the massive weeping willow in the middle of the clearing. The last time Bumblebreak's paws had touched this place, it was to scrape out a grave for Jaystride. Now she was with Hazelpaw, finishing up what was hopefully the last part of the apprentice's drawn-out territory tour.

She had stopped before reaching the clearing to gather a mouthful of flowers, which she now let fall onto the top of Jaystride's grave after pushing the wilted ones into the grass. With a quiet inhale, Bumblebreak turned back to Hazelpaw. "This is your first time here, right?"

The apprentice followed Bumblebreak quietly, not that conversation would be possible since the deputy had a cluster of flowers in her mouth. The air was somewhat melancholy, and Hazelpaw's ears twitched in awkward discomfort.

"Yea, it is," she said, her paws scuffing the earth as she stared at the grave Bumblebreak had rested the flowers on. Hazelpaw wasn't sure if she should ask who it was, give her condolences, or say nothing at all.

"So uh... what are those marks on the tree?" Neutral territory seemed like the best option. At least she hoped it was.

Houndchaser

Now coming up to the tree as they racing after a vole, quite a quick one if they had any say in it. Houndchaser had managed to track it back here but instead now they lost it. Ugh, no matter, they would probably find something else to bring the queens and kits. Houndchaser stopped running, now walking towards the tree. It’s now restored state after the incident moons ago. Would Bumblebreak put those who went missing during the camp collapse on the tree too? How about Sundust and Thrushstar? Houndchaser liked to believe that’s how both of them died at least, going missing wasn’t something they took as the likely option, for their leader at least. Sundust’s falling into the hole was an accidentc Spiderthroat was with him and went on search for him at least. Ugh, now was not the time to stop and ponder life’s questions, they had a single goal when coming out here and they weren’t going to go home empty pawed! With that final thought Houndchaser took off, perhaps Firefly Cove would have better prey to catch.
