"You were the one fighting with the tan Thunderclan apprentice? I saw the brat crawling into some bushes a bit later after a small fight woth another apprentice." She said, licking the dried blood on her paws.

Shadefrost felt himself sit a little straighter at the mention of winning the battle, and he was just a little proud of himself that he'd managed to get through the entire ordeal without getting in trouble again. Though if he could've had it his way, he would have stopped the medicine cat apprentice's mother from leaving to kill her. Anyways, Shadefrost listened on to the rest of his leaders announcement with a wide smile until she mentioned the missing apprentice. Really, someone actually had the guts to kidnap another cat from a battle that they'd lost?! How annoying. What would that even accomplish except for more violence and perhaps a mass murder of squirrels. Still, what to do? Dawnstar already had a plan in motion from the sound of it, but what if the little brat that had done the deed turned out to be just as sadistic as he was. He already knew what he'd do if he were in his fur and with a leader who didn't do things without reason like Bumblestar, he had a good feeling that the the thunderclan apprentice wouldn't take him back to their camp (not unless he wanted to be reprimanded). "Excuse me Dawnstar, forgive me if I'm speaking out of turn, but I don't think that apprentice has any intention of bring ours back. Could someone be sent to try and track where he went before it's too late?" Shade was by no means in any position to tell his leader what to do and deciding to just waltz into the enemies territory when he'd spent so many moons over there already was not apart of his agenda, but the paw's life was kind of in danger and Shade didn't like the idea of cats aligned to the most superior clan in the forest getting killed by other clan cats who were lower than the mice they ate.

Cougarbite smirked. “I gave her a nice kick to the jaw and i think that scared her enough along with the other small injuries to make her want to flee. i’m not surprised she was beaten so easily”

"Wait," said Shadefrost, "You mean to tell me that I'm not good enough to make you smile, or even crack the tiniest of smirks?" Shade had a good feeling that what he'd just said wasn't what she meant, but it was always fun messing with Darkcloud, which made saying it worth while. Slowly he took a paw and held it to his chest, then with mock sorrow he said, "Aww, and here I was thinking you took delight in sitting next to me Cloudy."

A silent sigh of irritation escaped Darkcloud's maw which felt like the 100th time she'd done it being around Shadefrost so much would make her lose breath but who cared she was probably one of the only cats to balance his personality and stop him going insane...

"Unless you do something to help useful to the clan then no" she said coldly ignoring hsi fake sorrow but before she could reply Dawnstar started speaking and her attention was now focused on the leader.

A feeling of satisfaction bubbled inside her at the mention of winning the battle they had indeed avenged the cats who had so unjustly died but they had lost another two clanmates which was disappointing but at least Sunkissed creek was theirs now.

However anger filled her heart as she heard that the apprentice Lynxpaw had been kidnapped those fox-hearted Thunderclanners trying to start trouble, Shadefrost's voice caught her attention again as he asked if they should track the apprentice down...that wasn't a bad idea though it was dangerous but she didn't say anything.

Nightstalker glared up at her leader, was she not going to mention Mistyblink's death? No matter what her family had done she deserved to be respected in death even if she wasn't in life. She bared her teeth briefly, greif and rage raw in her movments as she stiffly wrapped her tail around her paws

Rounded ears perking up at the leader's words, the muscular warrior felt his mood perk up somewhat. He might not have gotten the kill he wanted to fully avenge their medicine cat apprentice's unjust demise, but he'd had a paw in securing their victory. No matter how small a role he had played, he could live with that and be proud of what his clan had accomplished. Finally ThunderClan had been humbled and taught not to mess with those who resided in the dark. But Dawnstar was right. The squirrels were sure to try and take vengeance, incapable of noticing that what they'd just been delivered was not an unfair attack but swift and merciless retribution. Nodding along, the silver throated warrior made a mental note of keeping an eye out for potential threats whenever he was taking care of his guard duties.

It wasn't until mention of the missing apprentice was made that Silverlark's mood soured again, a snarl tugging at his scarred muzzle. ThunderClan had done what?! You know what... It did not surprise him anymore. That clan had proven over and over again just how spineless and worthless they were. That they would sink to abducting apprentices during the chaos of battle was to be expected almost. But to abduct an apprentice after the battle was over? To take advantage of the ceasefire and to openly challenge their leader? The squirrels must have been up in the trees for too long, because obviously their heads were filled with nothing but clouds.

With surprise and the usual hatred that bubbled in his stomach assaulting him, the young warrior turned at the sound of his former mentor's voice. A cool, uncaring glare settling in his verdant eyes, the tom found himself quirking a brow at Shadefrost's words. He doubted his mentor gave a rat's about the apprentice and assumed there must be a reason for his plight, but regardless of reason, he found himself detestably agreeing with the dark furred fool. ThunderClan had given no inclination of ever doing the right thing. The noble thing. Knowing the clan and their hateful leader as he did, Lynxpaw might already be dead. Still... did that mean that they should just give up the hope of seeing the tom again?

He assumed that wasn't the case. Dawnstar seemed ready to fight for Lynxpaw. As she would be. The ShadowClan leader had always shown how she valued her clanmates... He'd been at the receiving end of that consideration, and he would not doubt her course of action now. Besides, moving instantly against ThunderClan might backfire on the clan. They may have won, but they were worn out. Another battle so soon might end with more deaths, and even defeat. Not to mention that there wasn't even concrete evidence that they would be able to save the apprentice on time. Ears pinned against his head, Silverlark gritted his teeth as he realized there were no good options here.
