Cloversun purred loudly. Sagechaser had been her apprentice at one point. She was happy for him.
Eggpaw mumbled the new warrior's names.
Froststorm watched the meeting with dark blue eyes.

Boy, she felt terrible! Right before the meeting started, some kitten asked her to talk about the battle… Uh… FlickerKit…? Yeah! That little rascal! Exiting the nursery, she was just in time to hear her best friends warrior name… SageChaser… It’s perfect… She’d still call him SageSilly, however, because that nickname had a special place in her heart… SageSilly had a special place in her heart.
LilyPaw cheers “SAGESI- CHASER! SAGECHASER!” Though a little late on it, she definitely would’ve been the loudest if she had cheered with everyone else… LilyPaw felt pride, she was so proud of him… LilyLoser never thought time could go so fast… She wondered if she could still kick his ass in a brawl… I definitely could…! Running over to her friend, her nose pressed into his cheek. It seemed however that the hustle over may have been a bit painful because her teeth were gritted…
“I’m so proud of you,” she says while showering him in affection… I mean, he literally had completed all this training, of course he deserved an excessive amount of nuzzles…! “I’m really, REALLY proud of you, SageChaser…! No more training or apprentice duties for you, tough guy!” A purr rumbled in her throat as she nudged him…

Dawnstar's eyes drifted to Nighthound as he approached and then over to a certain paw she had forgotten to reassign. "I need you to go and evaluate Sagechaser's fighting skills. Even though he participated in the battle with ThunderClan, and has finished all his training, his performance was...lackluster. Ensure that he can hold his own as a ShadowClan warrior." Dawnstar told the Enforcer. She couldn't have unsuitable warriors with terrible fighting skills. "I want a report within a half moon, if he fails he'll need extra training and a potential demotion." She'd have to figure that out when it comes to that point.
While waiting to see if Nighthound had anything to add, she locked her gaze onto Mousepaw. Shadefrost has been careless with ensuring his safety and it concerns Dawnstar. She thought he should be reassigned, but considering how bothersome changing mentors can be for an apprentice, she should see what he thought about getting reassigned. "Mousepaw, come here."

He was glad he had found it fit to clean his pelt while waiting for Elmshadow, as he felt the eyes of his clan turn to him. Well not to him specifically, but still they were there, pressing against him in a way that made his skin crawl. Once upon a time, he would've relished in the attention, but Aspenpaw had pushed that part of himself away. He traded the spotlight for the shadows, and now it just made him uncomfortable. But he felt a somewhat familiar gaze on him that caught his attention. Green eyes fell upon the young warrior as he turned to look, the same one he had called a nepotistic child moments prior. A smile was brought to his lips as he regarded the russet tom as he congratulated him.
A single eyebrow was lifted in his direction, a physical response to his thoughts, A little early isn't it, I haven't even received my name?. Still he mouthed a "Thanks." to him, flashing his broken canine that made him reluctant to speak. Dawnstar then began to speak, stealing the tom's attention away. His name was spoken first, which pleased the egotistc child in him greatly. His voice was hoarse from the battle, but it was still strong and unwavering as he spoke. "I do."

Cougarbite waited for the names to be announced before he commented again. "Aspencry." He said, saying the new warrior's name. "Welcome to warriorhood. Did my hunting lesson help you get here?" He asked with a smirk.

Ceremonies done, Mousepaw wasn't one to hang around the clearing doing nothing. Idle paws had never been his strongest suit, preferring to keep busy. There was always something to do. Some nest that needed clearing out, or some den that needed to be fixed. His little sister was also a priority, and then there was the matter of his own training.
Hanging around without need simply did not sit well with him. He'd let his mother die alone - Elmshadow hardly counted as comforting company - to train. He would make it count. Train and work every day. If he had been unable to hold back while she was ill, to stop himself from working while she recovered, it would be a disgrace on her memory to do so now.
As such, verdant hues grew round with shock when he heard the leader call out his name. During the last meeting, his new mentor had been called out with his original apprentice. An apprentice which turned out was not even an apprentice to begin with? That... had been something alright. News had stormed through the camp like a flock of twittering birds in the trees. Had he somehow messed up as well?
He'd been avoiding his mentor since their first meeting, every subsequent meeting afterwards convincing him further it was the right thing to do. He had been fine taking his training into his own paws since Shadowfur had abandoned him. He didn't need to rely on Shadefrost's mocking presence to make strides on his way to earning his warrior name. Or so he thought. Perhaps Dawnstar saw differently? After all, what else could this possibly be about?
Standing up with a grimace, he walked as well as he could, ignoring the tug and pain the wound on his shoulder caused him as he walked towards the leader. Dawnstar had been hurt much worse in the battle, and she was still a strong, unflinching feline. It would be an insult to her to allow himself to show weakness or pain over the comparatively small wounds he had gained. An inquisitive look upon his eyes, the gray apprentice tilted his head as he looked up at the colossal she-cat, more curiosity than concern lacing his gaze. It seemed silly to be worried when he was mostly sure he'd done nothing wrong.

(SAGELILY ADORABLENESS) ——————
Sagechaser was drawn from his thoughts, placidly standing, by the sudden presence of Lilypaw. Quite literally, because she was all up in his face and giving him a nuzzle. Aw. He'd miss being an apprentice with her. He blinked slowly, taking in the sight of his friend. "Be careful," he murmured, a flash of guilt creeping into him. He was the reason she got into that fight. Because he just had to freeze up and...yeah. Decidedly not good. He'd make it up to her, somehow. He promised himself that.
Sagechaser sighed, purring as his friend nudged him. "Guess you can't call me Sagesilly anymore, Lilyloser," he joked, smiling as he meowed. He glanced away at Dawnstar, then back to his friend. "You gotta become a warrior. Seriously. I'll probably cry all alone in the new den and then my sister will make fun of me. That'd be bad. Plus, I'd, like, really miss you." He was such an idiot. Of course Lilypaw would be proud of him. It wouldn't make up for the things he was missing, but it sure felt good to be around his friend. "And, I mean, I'll maybe yell at Vulturefang if he doesn't train you. I dunno about that one, though, since he's the deputy now and that's kinda scary and I don't wanna get beat up by him or something," Sagechaser laughed. He'd never do that. Ever. No matter the favor. He'll always fear the wrath of the clan's leaders. He just wanted to convey the sentiment, so his friend knew he was an awesome friend who cares.

He listened to the leader speak, nodding once she was finished.
"Understood," Nighthound said blankly, then dipped his head and walked away. He would need to find Sagechaser. Hmm, perhaps he could bring along Shadepaw as well so she could get in some training. Regardless, he would get this task started quickly- a half a moon would pass by like it was nothing.
@Alchemist Kitsune
As the apprentice joined her wordlessly, Dawnstar decided to keep this chat quick and simple. "Shadefrost's action during the fight with ThunderClan concerns me immensely to the point that I think you'd be better with a different mentor. However, rather than forcing you to train with a new mentor, I figured since it's your training and your safety that was jeopardized, you can decide if you want a new mentor or not. Depending on how far you are in your training, rather than giving you a new mentor, I can assign one of the Enforcers to supervise you while you finish what training you left and have them make sure they give you an assessment."
