His fluffy tail thrashed back and forth, his eyes wide and filled with energy. His paws kept readjusting with excitement. His first training lesson was soon! All he had to do was wait for his mentor! This was so exciting. Then he could be a warrior and- and- he doesn’t know what but it’s going to be great! He looks at the cats in his clan that are older and they seem amazing! And his mentor seems sooooo cool!

Skunkridge approached the apprentice den and spotted Stormpaw "Stormpaw, are you ready for your first hunting lesson?" They asked with a smile.

The moment he heard his name, he immediately perked up. This was going to be so awesome! Okay okay…he had to play it cool. He was a warrior apprentice now. Not a kit. He took a deep breath and tried to calm down a bit, getting less antsy and all. His voice betrayed him though. “Yes!” He said in an excited, higher pitched tone. No! He was supposed to be cool. Cool and normal. He noticed too that his head started nodding aggressively. Ugh- why was he like this? So….so excited!? He could calm down. He knew how to be calm…right?

Snakefang made her way over to the apprentices' den, she hadn’t met Willowpaw before but was looking forward to being a mentor for the first time. In her mind, she already had a plan for what to do, of course battle training would be her first choice considering how much she loved a fight, but she’d let Willowpaw decide what to learn first. As far as she knew, there weren’t any orders on what to prioritise teaching at the moment.

"Hey, Willowpaw, you in there?" Snakefang called out, hopefully the young apprentice would be here. "Was thinkin' we could do some battle trainin' or huntin'?"
