Usually when warriors were temporarily exiled, they wanted to do things the right way. The right way would be to wait at the border until someone came along, explain themselves and why they wanted to come back, and then follow the escort back to camp if they were reaccepted.
This guy? Oh, no. From facing off a pack of coyotes with only four cats and untrained kids, to barging right back into camp without any consideration - it seemed the stupidity ran deep and uncurably in this one.
Fuming, Bumblestar strode across the clearing, raised an unsheathed forepaw, and threw it out to claw Darkecho across the face. "You've got some nerve," she snarled, "thinking you can just walk back in here like you own the place after the stunt you pulled! What the hell's even goin' through your head? Maggots?"
Darkecho
~Darkstripe vibes; less evil, way more emo~
Darkecho swayed back, narrowly missing the leaders outstretched claws. “Yes. Maybe I should have waited at the border. It’s just I don’t have much experience with these things. I’ve never been exiled before.” He added the last bit with a hint of spite and sarcasm. It was true, he had some nerve. Plenty, in fact. “No disrespect intended, bumblestar, but maybe trying to kill me isn’t the warmest greeting?” He was being careless. But at this point he diddn’t care. If bumblestar didn’t want him, so what? All of his old, worthy self got drained away when he let Appleleap and Fleckpaw die. Now there wasn’t anything left. Empty. Only a flicker of spite and a hollow feeling of longing that was pushed away into the depths of his soul.
Bumblestar's upper lip curled. Surely he didn't seriously believe he could get away with sarcasm right now? Or had he just come all the way back to waste her time?
"It's warmer a welcome than I'd like to give you." She let her tail whip behind her. "I don't care if you've gone missing and want to come back or if you've been kicked out on your tail. We've got a process, Darkecho. You wait by the border for someone to get you, or you don't come back at all. What you absolutely do not do is waltz right into camp like we've prepared a return party. That's never been a thing and why you think you'd be the exception evades me, especially considerin' what you did."
He didn't even seem remorseful. There had been no attempt at an apology, or any promise to do better - only the expectation to be reaccepted with open arms and entirely forgiven. Bumblestar jabbed her muzzle over Darkecho's shoulder, in the direction of the camp's entrance. "Get out. Now. Before I send you to meet Appleleap 'n Fleckpaw."
[ @Eucalyptuspaw - Darkecho has been permanently exiled, and will be killed if he doesn't leave by your next post. In the future, it's imperative that you use the character's allegiances thread, for rejoinings, post-exiles, or otherwise. Simply wandering back into camp risks their permanent exile or even their death! ]
Larkswoop turned her head at the sound of Timberpaw´s purr. She slid to the side, easily dodging the apprentice´s attack. However, she let Timberpaw land on her tail, softening the fall.
At Ravenpaw´s approach, she let her apprentice land on top of her. But before the black-and-dark ginger apprentice had the chance to follow up with a blow of pin her, Larkswoop rolled onto her back, gently crushing Ravenpaw beneath her.

Larkswoop was rolling as soon as Ravenpaw reached her back.
If she moved fast enough, she could jump off before getting flattened.

Ravenpaw managed to move away from Larkswoop before she was squished, though she barely pulled her tail out in time.
Well, at least she knew how to do that now.

He turned just as a familiar title was called out, which was around the same time he'd realized he'd lost the battle. Responding to dad. He was no dad. Yet there he was, reacting to the title he's apparently...been given?
A quiet mutter of words under his breath once he'd realized he made eye contact in his head turn. Sealing his fate as he simply turned to fully meet with this kitten. He had yet to fully remember their names...only based off of what he'd been told, or what they called one another. He was far too scared to go and ask Softdaisy. He was a strong tom, but not strong enough to survive that force.
Just as he was going to tell the tiny one to scamper off, he noticed the watery eyes.
He was not soft.
It just made him think of Asterdance. The brat constantly emotional. Constantly worried about those around them, and feeling how they feel if not worse depending. Ripplepaw was a good example of that. Wherever the tom had gone...It made his heart sink.
Spiderthroat did nothing but stare down at the kit for a moment, the words she was spouting going in one ear and out the other. Something about a Hornet? This time of season? Something he'd have to look into. No bee's or hornets nests should be nearby nor within the camp walls.
As she butt her head against his leg, he lifted a paw and aimed to gently rest it atop her head. He himself not realizing his softened gaze as he looked down at Waspkit. "Sure kit." he hummed, if his paw had landed on the head, it would gently roll from side to side. Like a pet.
The answer itself was far away, however. As if he were looking at someone else.
After her little headbutting, Waspkit's eyes brightened with hopefulness as her father stared down at her, the kit's paws front paws shuffling softly on the ground. The half white kit flinched softly as Spiderdad rose a paw, her maw opening in preparation for an ear-shattering shriek. But the large paw only rested softly atop her head and rolled softly side to side. Waspkit immediately melted into the touch, her father's words barely making it to her ears before she rumbled loudly with a purr. The kit's chest swelled with warmth and love for her father, shuffling closer, aiming to nuzzle up against him and bury herself into his fluff. She didn't even notice how far away his voice sounded, how distant and distracted it felt. All Waspkit could think about was the gentle paw atop her head and how lovely it made her feel. It was much, much different from her Hornet's affection, but it still felt nice. "Thank you, dad.." Waspkit murmered.

As the sun began to rise over ThunderClan territory, Foxkit quietly arose from her nest in the nursery and slipped out into the clearing. She looked around, the cool fall air making her shiver slightly beneath her thin fur.
She hadn't slept very well, and couldn't get back to sleep. Maybe there was something to do or someone to talk to out here.
(Open to anyone to reply!)
PumpkinKit yawned as he sauntered out of the nursery, fur puffing out slightly as he got hit with the cool morning air. Having a thicker coat, he thoroughly enjoyed when it was cooler like this.
He always made an effort to get out when it was early because it was always colder then, plus, he always woke up early anyways.
His gaze caught on another cat that was standing outside the nursery, and being the nosy little kit he is, he couldn't resist investigating. He trotted up to the she-kit, ears perked forward in curiosity, head tilted as he came to a stop beside her.
"Mm.. Are you always up this early?? I haven't seen you before. Well- I have. Just not this early. What's your name anyway?"
The tom rambled, unable to resist his early morning chatter.

Foxkit turned her head as she heard pawsteps approaching beside her, and another kit's voice spoke.
She recognized the kit, she'd seen him in the nursery, when she'd taken to the habit of simply watching other cats when she was bored. But she'd never heard his name.
"Oh, hi."
She greeted.
"Not usually.."
She responded to the inquiry of her being up this early.
"I just can't sleep. I'm Foxkit, who are you?"
She tilted her head to the side as she met the tom-kit's gaze.

Burningpaw was bored. He glanced around, looking for one of his friends. Hm. Oh! Pinepaw. Poor, unsuspecting Pinepaw. Burningpaw decided he would creep up on him. They hopped forward, and dropped low to the ground and crept forward once he was close enough. He waited a moment before pouncing onto Pinepaw hoping to pin him with a friendly purr. "Hi Pinepaw! Burningpaw snickered, whisking his
tail. The apprentice may or may not stepped of his friend(bc ollie doesn't like powerplay) with a happy grin. Pinepaw was the subject to cure his boredom, and he couldn't escape Burningpaw.

Yes, yes, yes!
Oh, no!
Larkswoop seemed to dodge her effortlessly. She let out a hiss of frustration as she landed on the warrior's tail. Starsdamnit! She had to control her emotions better, she chastised herself. Timberpaw got off Larkswoop's tail and watched as Ravenpaw landed then dodged being squished beneath Larkswoop.
Thank StarClan, Bumble came out to confront this spirit. She really didn't care what this cat had to say, and stayed on defense throughout most of the long-winded self-pity speech. That was, until a freaking badger appeared out of nowhere. Violetfreckle's first instinct was to hiss and shout a quick "Get back!" as the lumbering creature appeared. What kind of sick spirit would unleash a badger in the middle of camp? When this was over, Violetfreckle had some nasty choice words for StarClan for letting some cat like that into their ranks.
It was only after a few moments that she realized it was dead. Food? "What in the name of StarClan are you--" And, with that, the cat vanished. Great. She turned toward Bumblestar and Wolfhive, her mate and kid. "What the hell are we going to do with this?"
