SALTKIT
Saltkit is a quiet kit. She only really speaks up to the people she trusts, and she normally is collecting little trinkets to wear. (not much character/personality cuz i like rping to get a better idea of what i want them to grow into) She adores small objects and animals, often staring at ladybugs and caterpillars as they move along. ((I am open to tweaks! I've never had a kit with actual parents lol))

Hound- In reference to her efficient and ferocious nature, Houndhunter was named after this hunting dog in the outside world. A workaholic, Houndkit will become prone to burnout and stress once her apprenticeship begins, but in the end, her desire to work is also her source of energy and motivation, so it balanced out just fine. She thrives primarily off of praise and validation from those she looks up to.

Mental Condition-
Overall, Houndkit’s primary struggles revolve around her personality itself, and she does not have any significant mental challenges that could her daily life struggle. For the most part, it’s her pessimism and her reluctance to properly enjoy things that makes her an easy target for some unhappiness, but in the end, she still finds herself in a fair mood the majority of the time. Excluding her burnout and her stress, Houndkit is mentally healthy.
Physical Condition-
Something important to note about Houndkit is her speech limitations. Due to having some physical complications that affect her vocal volume and projection, Houndkit has a significantly hard time speaking clearly. When she does speak, there is an obvious rough-quality to her voice, she is unable to speak much above a certain volume, and whenever she speaks much at all, she is in pain. In a way, she has a permanent horse/sore throat. Because of this, she speaks as minimally as she possibly can, resulting in a speech delay. This delay is made up for once she learns to sign fluently/with ease. Some plots ideas might wind up circling this information.
Houndhunter is a small and thin she-cat with limbs fit for running and swimming quickly. Her fur is sleek and short, tufting up around her ears and around her face. Her eyes are green and narrow, with a natural hint of slight sleep deprivation about them. The primary color of her pelt bounces between a pale blue-gray color and white, with cream and light gray colored streaks and patches flowing through the mix every so often. Houndhunter is a dilute calico. She is light footed and flexible, easily slipping through small spaces and dodging obstacles. Her speed is her main strength, but she lacks the actual strength/muscle power necessary to save herself fully once she is already in a position where she cannot run or dodge. I am currently working on some basic sketches of what she might look like.

These statistics represent Houndkit’s general self throughout the entirety of her lifetime- during her early months, they will not match completely.
I doubt that Houndkit will have any tight relationship ships with her parents. I expect that she will have a healthy bond with each of them, Larkwind included. Although Houndkit might spend a lot of time complaining to her mother because she’s too polite and put together to do it in public, all this would show is the trust Houndkit puts into her relationship with her mother. Larkwing appears to be the more bubbly time, and although Houndkit falls more aligned with the stoic, pessimistic crowd, I’m sure this could add an extra spark of dynamic to their relationship as a mother and daughter. Houndkit would see her mother as somebody certainly different from herself, but very much deserving of her trust and appreciation nonetheless. She would admire Larkwing’s combat skills, her dedication to her loved ones, and above all, her loyalty to her clan. Despite their differences, Houndkit is almost bound to idolize her mother’s skills, strength, and character as a whole.

I doubt that Houndkit will have any tight relationship ships with her parents. I expect that she will have a healthy bond with each of them, Fishfreckle included. I can certainly imagine Houndkit inheriting a little bit of her inner ‘grumpus’ from this one. His loyalty to RiverClan and his wishes for it to fade back into power will give Houndkit an automatic excuse to idolize him. Chances are, she will look up to her father more than anybody when it comes to emotions and inner character. Fishfreckle, being somebody known to speak his mind and verbalize his thoughts, would most likely be one of Houndkit’s biggest influences, resulting her having many similar traits to him. As his daughter, she will view him as the best “form of father” out there. She sees him as knowledgeable, serious, and dignified, somebody to look up to and take word from.

Personality
Overview:
Troutkit resonates with the saying: "I'm just a little guy I swear". He knows he's not, but he pretends. He prides himself on being the son of Larkwing, who was the leader of RiverClan, though he does think it was a bit cowardly to leave the Clan behind and throw it into disarray for god knows how long. He doesn't strut around like he's the best, and he doesn't hold himself higher than any cat, he's actually quite polite and respectful. He has manners, bowing to cats that hold any higher position than him, which is basically everyone. He always says please and thank you. He can be rude if you say something negative about him, and he also has OCD, ADHD, and anxiety.
(side note, incase anyone is concerned that I'll portay these disorders wrong, I actually have them myself so I'll go off of my personal experience with them ) For him, this means he has a difficult time focusing, and can't sit still for long periods of time. He needs to fidget with something, or else he will just zone out and enter his own world in his head. Troutkit also struggles with intrusive thoughts (such as dying, things that are unlikely to happen happening, etc), and sometime has to repeat things over and over again. For example, if he was worried about unexpectedly dying in his sleep, he'd say "I love you" to his mom. But then if he said something else, like he was chatting with his friend, he'd repeatedly say "I love you" and "Good night" to ensure those would be his last words, and he can't fall asleep if those aren't his last words before going to sleep.

A petite blue-gray & silver calico with white paws, muzzle, and a white tail tip. Her tail is very fluffy and her pelt has a silky texture, her eyes are a dark green, and she has some small patches of cream spotted tabby patterning.
Personality traits- Feisty, hot-tempered, energetic, passionate, easily distracted, loud, social, cuddly (with family), protective, and needy for attention.
Little quotes I think she would say: -“Aye! Attention over here, I’m over here guys!”
-”You should be scared of me, I am very intimidating.”
-”But Moooom! I can’t sit still this looong!”

Extra- ♡ I think she'd most likely be the runt of the litter, tiny but ever-so-fierce.
♡ As a kit, she wouldn't often get sick due to a strong immune system, but if a sibling were to fall ill, she'd volunteer to take care of 'em! (As long as she doesn't have anything better to do of course)
♡ She would be the type to sneak out of camp and get her apprentice ceremony postponed, you have been warned.
♡ She has ADHD, and therefore cannot sit still for the life of her, even when asleep she ends up kicking some cat in the face.

Detailed personality- Havenkit is the hot-tempered princess of the story, attention just as necessary as water to her. Quick to conflict and quick to get distracted and wander away from it, this feisty little punk may get on your nerves -and you may never get an apology from her- but she doesn’t really mean to be annoying. She may have unintentional and long-forgotten-by-her beef with many cats, but she does have a softer, slightly more lovable side to her personality. After a long day of wreaking havoc and ruining her fellow kits’ days, she enjoys settling down and sinking into her family’s loving embrace. She has permanent dibs on mom (don’t even try to convince her otherwise, you’ll get a tiny paw to the face)! She may lose interest in things easily, but when her short attention span is focused on something, she is irrationally fixated on it. For example, if she found a cool-looking rock outside the nursery, it would be all she’d be talking about for days. Another thing about her is that she is firmly planted in the belief that she’s the only one allowed to beat her littermates and even her friends up, so if someone else so much as touches a hair on their pelt, they better watch their back!
Plans for her future- Haven will grow to fit into the crown of a queen, she'll no longer be our little princess! Unlike most of my other characters, I think I'd like for her confidence levels to just shoot to the sky and I'm not planning on giving her too much trauma, even if kit's fun I'll resist the urge for the sweet baby. There are some things that she'll probably never grow out of, such as her short attention span or passion for anything she's discovered (yes... she may still get distracted by rocks-). I believe her temper would die down a bit with age, but never completely disappear. I think her sense of right & wrong would also become more prominent in her personality along with her protective nature, leading her to be a tad more reckless (because of course we need that) when it comes to injustice or close relationships.
Love life?- Heh, heh. She'll find someone eventually... right? Yup! I'm planning on her probably finding someone who is more quiet and go-with-the-flow, someone who would follow her orders and treat her like the queen she is. ^^
I'm not super set on the details as of now, but we'll get her a nice slow-burn love plot one day!
View on relationships (her POV)- Momma is the best, she puts up with me being super loud, sometimes we fight a little bit (like when I have to go to bed). Momma always wins though! I wanna be just like her when I grow up, but I think Momma should take it lil' easier. She's always worryin' bout stuff! Oh, and Papa? Papa's super cool! He's gonna make Riverclan super amazing again and there is no way he won't -uh- suc-suuucc... succeed! Yeah, that's the word. Mama says that we have the same temper, but how can we have the same one if we're different cats? My siblings? No, I think you mean my minions. They're pretty cool I guess, we fight and stuff but I suppose I still love them, even if they try'n steal my spot next to Mama. It's okay though, I always get it back!

Kithood personality: childhood muteness, only speaking with her parents or or family kits. Skiddish and more than willing to hide behind mom or hope she speaks for her.

Adulthood personality: Reserved, snarky, and only a few words and when they are most need/impactful. May be a bit cryptic with her words. Maybe a mix of making others stop to think deeper on things, or just to get them to shut up while they think on what she meant. May seem cold, might be cold, loves not you but her clan.
"Stop talking and actually speak."
Plot: if allowed I'd like if she could be born blind so that's where a lot of her shy nature comes from as a kit, the world is already a scary place with all your senses. She will grow to conquer these fears and use her words as her weapons. She wishes to serve her clan the best that she can yet doesn't desire the seat of powers. Let the other Highranks deal with all that headache, surely all the stories lark may tell her would disway her from any ambition like that.
To her parents they are both equal in her eyes, but would probably get a sharp tongue from her father and at a younger age might lean on Lark more. As being a kit even being a former leader would make Lark seem like an outright god to her. Around apprenticehood would she begin to see them more equally and that would be unchanging unless some crazy drama happens.

Hypo 1
Tidal is quite small in stature like their father. They have a wiry, thin build that is made for speed, causing them to be agile and swift on most terrains. Their pelt is a dusty silver covered with fading rossetes that transition into spindly stipes around the end of limbs and broken up by the white reaching out from their underbelly, paws and tail tip while they have a few small random spots and splashes on their ears, chest and face. They have deep, sharp murky green eyes that seem to stare into ones very being and give off a cold appearance. Their fur is mostly sleek and well groomed apart from a few places where it sticks out in a ragged kind of way.
Personality
Stoic and Orderly - One to keep a straight face at all times, Tidal is the definition of serious. They find no amusement in whatever childish tricks others might play and will be quick to correct whatever breaches of rules occur. They have rules for a reason, they are meant to be followed for the safety of everyone else. Such mischief will not be taken lightly and will be subject to strict lecture by Tidal along with some harsh, personal words mixed in. They don't mess around when things of importance are prominent and will always make it a task to be well behaved and helpful, even if it means being the one who ruins the fun. No emotions will be outwardly displayed as it is improper and a bother to others around them, though their feelings can be explosive and control them at times. They will do their best to keep everything calm and functional even for the sacrifice of their own well-being.
Loyal and Protective - Despite their guarded demeanour, Tidal deeply cares about cats close to them most importantly their family. Their happiness and success is almost always put above theirs and every action they take is done to keep them safe. Never one to abandon their kin, they will stick through the worst and most joyful times with them no matter what. Nothing they do is expected to be returned, why should their kindness be repaid? Their happiness is enough for them. Riverclan is of extreme importance to them as well, helping it thrive is one of their ultimate goals. Anyone who disrespects their clan will be swiftly reprimanded and defended with patriotic ferocity. One of the other traits that come to show upon meeting them is their severe protectiveness. Tidal's main priority is keeping everyone safe and well and will gladly go to extreme measures in order to keep this. Hardly allowing their loved ones to stray too far or risk even minor injury doing a task they deem dangerous, this doting nature is particularly present when around their siblings and will show a more gentle side when interacting with them, speaking with stern words with a soft voice.
Independent and Adaptable - Although they adore their family, Tidal prefers their own company. They just value the peaceful solitude they can find with one's self, where there isn't any chance of arguments or bother. They can handle themselves and they want to show it, often patrolling the territory in their spare time, making sure nothing is a miss. They'd much rather take safety into their own paws. They'll take note of changes as well when on their usual walks, handling problems with a straightforward and clear minded approach. They change with their conditions, adapting to whatever changes come their way. They have to push forward. In a storm they are the eye, calm and collected when everything else is descending into chaos.

A workaholic, Houndkit will become prone to burnout and stress once her apprenticeship begins, but in the end, her desire to work is also her source of energy and motivation, so it balanced out just fine. Mental Condition-
Overall, Houndkit’s primary struggles revolve around her personality itself, and she does not have any significant mental challenges that could her daily life struggle. For the most part, it’s her pessimism and her reluctance to properly enjoy things that makes her an easy target for some unhappiness, but in the end, she still finds herself in a fair mood the majority of the time. Excluding her burnout and her stress, Houndkit is mentally healthy.
Physical Condition-
Something important to note about Houndkit is her speech limitations. Due to having some physical complications that affect her vocal volume and projection, Houndkit has a significantly hard time speaking clearly. When she does speak, there is an obvious rough-quality to her voice, she is unable to speak much above a certain volume, and whenever she speaks much at all, she is in pain. In a way, she has a permanent horse/sore throat. Because of this, she speaks as minimally as she possibly can, resulting in a speech delay. This delay is made up for once she learns to sign fluently/with ease. Some plots ideas might wind up circling this information.
Houndhunter is a small and thin she-cat with limbs fit for running and swimming quickly. Her fur is sleek and short, tufting up around her ears and around her face. Her eyes are green and narrow, with a natural hint of slight sleep deprivation about them. The primary color of her pelt bounces between a pale blue-gray color and white, with cream and light gray colored streaks and patches flowing through the mix every so often. Houndhunter is a dilute calico. She is light footed and flexible, easily slipping through small spaces and dodging obstacles. Her speed is her main strength, but she lacks the actual strength/muscle power necessary to save herself fully once she is already in a position where she cannot run or dodge. I am currently working on some basic sketches of what she might look like.
Houndkit is a restless blend of stress and devotion, blending her strong sense of duty with her natural urge to work herself past her limits. She will arrive to work early, work with efficiency and productivity, and she will work all the way up until the late hours, brushing her fatigue off as a simple, insignificant fault of her own. Getting the job done is her main drive in life, and if she isn’t speeding gracefully through daily activities, she considered herself a slacker, or a slug. She dedicates the moments that she should use for wonder and pleasure to scheming up the best future she possibly can for herself, pushing happy, mindless chats into more serious, work-centered conversations, often boring those around her who just wanted to have some fun. If Houndkit goes a second too long without finding something to get stressed about, rather than relaxing, she will find herself even more overwhelmed, scurrying about every corner in search for something to get worked up over, some responsibility to add onto her plate. Long story short, she is a workaholic, and the moment she finds herself sitting with nothing to do but relax and have some freedom for herself, she decides that she is wasting her time, and she casually returns to practicing her training moves for the forty-third time that same day. At her core, she understands that these negative characteristics of hers are the causes for her stress and paranoia, but she refuses to give the idea the amount of thought necessary to fix herself, to be fully self aware. There is always work to be done, and this, Houndkit shall never see peace.
Now, in the uncommon cases in which Houndkit does escape this unhealthy cycle of mind, she spends her time hanging around her loved ones, such as a close parent or a best friend. The relationships that Houndkit builds up this much are extraordinarily important to her, and she will spend nearly all of her “free-time” interacting with them, whipping up deep conversations left and right. She will be very committed to these relationships, and the moment she recognizes something unusual going on with those who she loves like this, she will be hanging over their shoulder with every last effort being made to figure out what is going on with them whether the problem is a small one or not. Although Houndkit will struggle to build up strong relationships like this with others, once she gets attached, it will be obvious. She will make sure to chat with you whenever she gets the chance (most likely to complain or gossip with you), she will trust you with her worries and her struggles, and she will bring your secrets to the grave- assuming you do not give her a giant reason to do otherwise. She will also expect the same amount of commitment from you, and if it is not provided, she will, of course, stress, as she does whenever any unusual occurrence takes place. Houndkit is quick to criticize and snap when somebody has not played a big enough role in their relationship with one another, but in the end, she finds herself constantly wondering what she has done wrong to cause these issues, what ways she had messed things up, and how she can improve. Unfortunately, Houndkit will usually keep these constructive thoughts to herself, and it can be a bit hard for some to tell if she is actually trying to better herself or not. Overall, Houndkit is a friend that can be trusted with any secret that doesn’t harm another loved one/their clan, any awkward/humiliating story, and any anxieties that her loved ones might be struggling with, just so long as they play their mutual role in the strong, supportive relationship.
However, you certainly do not need to be extremely close to Houndkit to see her stress. Her signs of burnout are obvious to practically everybody who does so much as speak to her even once, and when questioned about it, she will take it out on others for trying to get involved with something that should not bother them in the slightest, her business and her’s alone. She is permanently fatigued, with pressure and irritation hanging over her 24/7, and an obsessive nature that results in her perfectionism problems. It is very difficult to get close with Houndkit unless you developed your friendship with her from a young age, which is why I will be back and forth finding long-term relationships for this kid if she actually ends up being a daughter of Larkwing and Fishfreckle. To anybody who she appreciates but doesn’t adore with every fiber of her being, Houndkit considers an ally- or, if she considers them to be above her self, a idol, an authority, or a mentor, if not multiple. It is always possible to be both an ally and somebody that Houndkit finds annoying, especially if you are roughly the same age. Houndkit is easily irritated, with a short temper and a sharp tongue. She gets frustrated when her peers don’t keep pace with her, but all the same, she finds herself losing confidence the very second they become more successful than herself. This competitive nature of hers is both beneficial and harmful, as it drives her to keep on running after her ambitions, all the while causing her to feel a consistent lack of satisfaction in all that she does. In order to keep in pace with her clanmates/to get ahead, Houndkit always puts a great deal of effort and focus into her every little behavior, perfectionism and obsessive thoughts highly limiting her ability to be creative. If she is not given a list of directions to follow with precision and perfect accuracy, she quickly loses track of what she is doing and she freaks out until somebody finally offers her some direction, some kind of instruction to give her a pathway.
Speaking of rules- one of Houndkit’s most prominent traits is her inability to step outside of what is expected of her, and what all is he is taught to do. She believes that rules exist primarily to keep everybody in line, and the very moment you stop following them, the world will fall in on itself. She has a routine that she never breaks away from, and when things do not go exactly the way she has planned for them to, Houndkit’s levels of stress immediately shoot through the roof and beyond. I addition to this, if somebody else behaves in a way she did not expect, or if something sudden occurs in her life that ruins her schedule for a while, she will have an emotional explosion. Houndkit gets incredibly distressed when things fall out of balance, but after a few days of this pain, her resilience will kick in and she will force herself to adapt. Despite being a strong hater of change, Houndkit is adaptable down to the core. She will experienced large amounts of stress and anxiety just after something changes, but generally, it passes by pretty quickly, and she refuses to let it affect herself/those around her and/or close to her for much longer than that. When things go wrong, she turns back to the rules and checks out all of the security that they might provide, and building off of these laws, she will find a way to adjust to dramatic changes. Just as long as the rules, the backbone of Houndkit’s emotional comfort, don’t change too crazily, she will always find a way to move forward after any and every incident. Now, if the rules do end up changing all of the sudden, Houndkit will probably go insane, or at least seriously fight against the change and try to bring back old habits, old traditions.
Now, if other RiverClan members break the rules, Houndkit will do everything in her power to come back at them. She will understand that her authority have limits… but this does not mean that she won’t tattle. If she notices somebody being a lil’ bit sketchy, she is bound to let somebody know. Houndkit was definitely the wrong person to suggest breaking the rules with, because this is really the only time she will ever spill others’ secrets: Break the rules, get broken, people. She believes that everybody’s private business should be their’s and their own, until broken rules get involved. Houndkit will even break trust-promises with those who she loves dearly to protect the rules from being bent too far. So this leaves the question- at what point will Houndkit not obsess over the rules? Where does she draw her limitations, and at what points does she decide that the lawful-line has been crossed, that rules have become excessive? As an example, if RiverClan leadership changes up all of the sudden and rules take an entirely unfamiliar turn, Houndkit will most likely express her dissatisfaction with the new changes plenty. In conclusion, Houndkit is a rule-follower, a workaholic, and a stress’er- but she is quick to chase after her ambitions, and never one to shy away from topping her actions off with some extra effort, some overachieving. Underneath the hardened exterior, she is painfully aware of her limitations, but too focused on setting up a strong, ‘no-struggles’ self-image to try and properly fix it. She suffers from the weight of her own expectations and is driven by an almost compulsive need to prove her worth, but in doing so, she loses touch with the very thing that makes life meaningful: balance.
These statistics represent Houndkit’s general self throughout the entirety of her lifetime- during her early months, they will not match completely.
I doubt that Houndkit will have any tight relationship ships with her parents. I expect that she will have a healthy bond with each of them, Larkwind included. Although Houndkit might spend a lot of time complaining to her mother because she’s too polite and put together to do it in public, all this would show is the trust Houndkit puts into her relationship with her mother. Larkwing appears to be the more bubbly time, and although Houndkit falls more aligned with the stoic, pessimistic crowd, I’m sure this could add an extra spark of dynamic to their relationship as a mother and daughter. Houndkit would see her mother as somebody certainly different from herself, but very much deserving of her trust and appreciation nonetheless. She would admire Larkwing’s combat skills, her dedication to her loved ones, and above all, her loyalty to her clan. Despite their differences, Houndkit is almost bound to idolize her mother’s skills, strength, and character as a whole.

I doubt that Houndkit will have any tight relationship ships with her parents. I expect that she will have a healthy bond with each of them, Fishfreckle included. I can certainly imagine Houndkit inheriting a little bit of her inner ‘grumpus’ from this one. His loyalty to RiverClan and his wishes for it to fade back into power will give Houndkit an automatic excuse to idolize him. Chances are, she will look up to her father more than anybody when it comes to emotions and inner character. Fishfreckle, being somebody known to speak his mind and verbalize his thoughts, would most likely be one of Houndkit’s biggest influences, resulting her having many similar traits to him. As his daughter, she will view him as the best “form of father” out there. She sees him as knowledgeable, serious, and dignified, somebody to look up to and take word from.

Of course, the specifics of this will heavily depend on the sibling and their character, but generally, Houndkit will try her best to not get too irritated with her littermates. They are her close family, and she understands that they deserve some love and respect. If any of Houndkit’s littermates happen to be a little bit mischievous, she will most likely be over their shoulder 24/7 discouraging them from ruining their ‘could-be positive reputation’ with those older and more respectable than themselves. Houndkit will stress over her siblings and their health, their mental states, and their success like crazy, and I expect that she will try and spend as much time as she can checking in on them and making sure they’re doing alright, just to confirm that they aren’t dying off behind her back. She will report any and every non-personal concern for her siblings that catches her eye to Larkwing and Fishfreckle, motivated to keep them in good hands paws? for as long as she possibly can. They may irritate a few of her siblings, but Houndkit’s priorities revolve around their safety, not how pleasant and agreeable she is. She, being somebody who views defending her family as a birth-law, will do everything in her power to keep them happy and healthy… likely with an emphasis on healthy.
- Close Friend(s) -
This will have to be cats that Houndkit would trust with every little mistake she makes. She should be able to comfortably come to them when confused, concerned, humiliated, grieving, joyous, all of the things- and she should be able to do this without feeling the slightest fear that she will be judged for how she behaves. Once these two have managed to bond so deeply, it will be very difficult for them to break apart, assuming this close friend doesn’t decide to completely lose their ethical understanding of the world around them and become one with crime/rule-crushing. Houndkit would meet these cats during her kithood, and they would grow up close, until by apprenticeship, they have already locked in a strong bond with one another. Houndkit will love them dearly, and the moment they show any signs of unusual aggression towards her, she will break. This are some of the only cats that Houndkit will never get too snappy with, some of the only cats who she will gladly compliment and shower with affection. Her time, energy, and love will be very generously given to these friends of hers, and if they aren’t willing to try and give her this commitment back, then the chances she will stick with them are very low. This cats will be in Houndkit’s same age group, and in order for them to get as close as they do, they must share some similar personality traits- just to keep things realistic. In the end, Houndkit will adore her closest friends, and there probably will not be any more than three of them.
- Rivals -
Houndkit’s rivals can be anybody around her age or older, and I’m sure there will be quite a few. All you really have to do to get on Houndkit’s nerves is question a rule that she likes just once, and you claim an automatic slot in her bad list. In order to be an actual rival, however, you have to consistently get on her nerves, and you have to spend some extra time being a bother to her. By the time Houndkit groans and sneers whenever your character show up, this character of yours has successfully landed themself a not-so-loving place in Houndkit’s heart, the little dark corner where she keeps all of her rivals and frenemies. The majority of Houndkit’s rivals will probably be her peers, and there will not be too many during her kithood. By the time she becomes an apprentice and she truly realizes how stupid her clanmates can get, they will become more abundant in her life. So just break a rule or do, be an obnoxious jerk, and/or act much younger/more immature than you should at your age, and it should not be a very big challenge to get Houndkit to dislike you.
- Enemy -
To be Houndkit’s enemy is to be somebody whose guts she absolutely hates, to be somebody who she wishes she could just vanish from this planet without a second thought. The rules are the only thing preventing Houndkit from making this reality. Houndkit will not have an actual enemy until she is an apprentice, but it is always possible that she meets this enemy of hers during her kitten days. Her enemy will most likely be somebody who gladly breaks rules, and causes unnecessary chaos with a smile on their face, without a care in the world for everybody who could be harmed by it all. But most importantly, they will get away with it. What Houndkit will need to hate most is their success, success that Houndkit herself considers undeserved. They will be aware that Houndkit hates them, and in order for her hatred towards them to be nice and mutual, they should hope for the worst for her just as she does them. Houndkit’s enemy should be around her age, or at least, should share her rank.

- Rule Number One: The Myth of Pleasure -
Houndkit, known to highly value her early-training success over her hobbies and personal interests, comes of age and receives her apprentice title, becoming Houndpaw. This quick change brings her plenty of excitement, as it should any newly made apprentice, but being herself, she continues to suffer from her natural urge to push herself far beyond the expectations of those around her, believing strongly in the idea that now that she has become an apprentice, she really needs to get into the kick of things, and it’s time to train the life out of herself. She plans for her apprenticeship days to revolve solely around education and skill-building, assuring herself that any stress will be worth it once she finally takes on warrior-hood. Confident in her future of success and efficiency, Houndpaw leaves her apprentice ceremony feeling freshly energized, self-inspired to shoot ahead and get things done quickly and precisely. I plan on finding her a fairly strict mentor to fit Houndpaw’s personal preferences, but also to stress Houndpaw out a bit more. It doesn’t take too many days of non-stop work and practice for Houndpaw to realize that this is a bit difficult, and if she wants to get as much done as she would like to, she’ll have to look beyond her hobbies for a while, prioritize the quality of her future life over her current pleasures. This mindset will stick with her throughout her early apprenticeship, and as she continues to work towards her goal of… working, stress and exhaustion will continue to build up along with her, the constant pressure to preform well clear in her mind as she learns and grows. By the time she has been an apprentice for some time, Houndpaw finds herself plagued by insomnia, irritability, and a growing sense of burnout, spending her nights anxiously awaiting the inevitable stress and terrors of the next morning. Those who she trusts will not have a hard time picking up on this issue as it worsens, and if they mention it to Houndpaw’s face, the overworked apprentice will be quick to get onto them about not minding their own business. By this point in time, Houndpaw would have decided for herself that pleasure is just a myth for somebody with ‘real’ ambition. At her core, she certainly sees the lack of accuracy behind this idea, but she refuses to listen to her gut, so she remains trapped in the cycle of motivation, labor, burnout, stress, and success that she mindlessly, merrily created for herself.
- Rule Number Two: Form of Voice -
From her very first few attempts at making clear, simple sounds and noises, it was obvious that Houndkit’s vocals were not perfect. When she tries to speak, the sound always comes out as some scratchy, starchy rasp that sends a burning sting running down her throat, and she can never make any sound louder than a whisper or a mew. I hope Larkwing and Fishfreckle will not enjoy this suffering of hers- they would most likely try to keep her verbalization to a minimum for a while, seeing as making the smallest of sounds was torturous for the she-kit, and this will go on until Houndkit grows old enough to think and decide things for herself, she makes the decision that she is much more comfortable with silence than the burning she feels when speaking. This could happen once she’s roughly two moons old, out and about on her own. This is when Larkwing and Fishfreckle could work on teaching her to sign, most likely teaching themselves in the process so that the family can properly communicate. Houndkit will be motivated to grow fluent in this silent means of communication, and she shouod pick up on it as quickly as one can. She will keep working to improve her sign as much as she can, as quickly as she can (productively, that is, without forgetting things the moment she learns them), until her apprenticeship begins, and by this point in time, she should know how to communicate average, simple conversations just fine with her family and friends. Unfortunately, as a kitten, she will begin to get a bit irritated with her silence, as most other kits cannot understand her even when she does try to speak. Due to interactions with her peers being difficult and awkward for her, Houndkit will avoid as many talky/chatty interactions with others as she can. This isolation will contribute to her disliking for too much social interaction with cats her age as she grows. Houndkit will adapt to her challenges by the time she becomes an apprentice, and I hope to find her a mentor that is willing to learn to sign along with her, mostly out of roleplay. From her apprenticeship and beyond from there, Houndkit will make it a goal to avoid letting her mutism become a stress cause for herself, allowing it to just fade into part of her character. When it comes to how this would affect her relationship with Larkwing and Fishfreckle, I can see a little conversation between them all about how they’ll sign one anothers’ names being pretty entertaining and relieving for them as a family.
- Rule Number Three: Allies and Workmates -
Now that I am this far through this application, I seriously hope that I have made it clear that Houndkit likes to work. This plot idea will go more into depth on how this obsession of hers affects her social interaction with others: peers, family, friends, all of it. Houndkit is goal-oriented, socially strategic, and constantly wondering about how each cat in her life could help her get ahead in life. She applies this same mentality to her friendships, viewing most of her interactions with others through the lens of productivity, future success, and personal advancement. When making friends, her first thoughts have nothing to do with how they will bond emotionally, only how she can built personal success off of them. Houndkit does this mindlessly, and whenever somebody brings attention to it, she will feel shameful. However, she will avoid making this shame external, and chances are, she will take it out on those upset with her logical social motivations. Houndkit will not understand why treating all of her friends as if they are her colleagues of some sort isn’t the best way to socialize, because she personally feels as if these ways of thinking are only beneficial- for both herself and this friend of hers, in fact. She does not life herself by pushing them down, she only uses them as a temporary ladder so that she can climb on up into success… it doesn’t hurt them, so where’s the issue? She does not realize how much this might hurt the feelings of those who want to get closer with her when she brushes them off as simple means of getting to where she wants to be faster. As an apprentice, Houndkit will be turning her casual interactions with her clanmates into literal business meetings, snatching a pleasant chat about everybody’s favorite snack into a morbid conversation about the RiverClan’s most recently deceased warriors and how they had so much to live for, tsk. Once somebody close to her explains to her politely that this hurts people’s feelings and she might want to put more effort into kindness and fun, instead of making her entire life one giant mess of a job application.

) For him, this means he has a difficult time focusing, and can't sit still for long periods of time. He needs to fidget with something, or else he will just zone out and enter his own world in his head. Troutkit also struggles with intrusive thoughts (such as dying, things that are unlikely to happen happening, etc), and sometime has to repeat things over and over again. For example, if he was worried about unexpectedly dying in his sleep, he'd say "I love you" to his mom. But then if he said something else, like he was chatting with his friend, he'd repeatedly say "I love you" and "Good night" to ensure those would be his last words, and he can't fall asleep if those aren't his last words before going to sleep.
