Another one taken by twolegs? This was a serious issues, a Gingerfrost somewhat grimaced at that. He knew from experience that some twolegs were tough to avoid -- some most of them slow and without much energy, there were a few who stood out and seemed like they were master chasers themselves, that is why he didn't always blame it on the cat when twolegs were involved, lest their stupidity shone through. That didn't seem to be the case with Violetfreckle, as there's little to go off, other than that she expected them all to look for her? Easier said than done. If they did it for one cat they had to do it for several, and that only risked more going missing. Though, there was some truth to it: perhaps they could organise occasional patrols look for their missing, yet he had to further mull over that thought.

Most of the insults from the aggravated feline blew right past the ginger deputy who looked entirely unbothered. Mostly just glad she saved the hissy fit for the end of the gathering, Gingerfrost hardly cared. He wasn't acting like he cared either: he simply needed to know why this cat that's been missing for two moons is suddenly at a gathering. Alas, different point of views. And if they were such pathetic fish-brains, he wasn't going to bother to try and stop her either; if she wanted to leave, then so be it, they didn't need someone who doesn't want to stay.

Letting this fire kill itself, Gingerfrost took the heat and let out a sigh with a light shake of his head when Mumblepaw's voice rang out. No point in arguing with her over pointless topics, though the apprentice seemed to have a different opinion about that. Giving the apprentice a momentarily sharp look at the insult thrown the feline's way, Gingerfrost couldn't help but relax his features when Mumblepaw pointed out how happy he was about having tracked her down, to which Gingerfrost gave a nod. It's true; he was surprised no one else noticed the outsider scent -- or it wasn't that strong and Mumblepaw simply had an extraordinary nose. Either way, that was a good skill on the apprentice's side.
"Go on ahead, I'm kicking up the rear."
Replied Gingerfrost, a surprising lightness to his tone he hadn't expected himself. Strange.

The molly smiled as Hawkbite approached, but the smile faltered as he mentioned the kits. The kits. Her kits. "I... they...." Words died in her throat and she lowered her gaze, instead listening to the announcements. "They're gone." She lowered her head a fraction, before moving on. Because if she lingered, she would crumble. "I think about you too... how have you been?" How she had been was kind of something you could assume, after her kits going missing and died she obviously wasn't doing so hot. And plus she wanted to know how her dear friend was.

Goldenpaw wasnt really following most of the conversation started by the RiverClan apprentice. She seemed... eccentric. Probably not a cat he would choose to hang around over anyone else. "Im a guy, so uh... he? I guess?" he tried to hide his uncertainty in the statement, only to fail miserably at the task. Blegh, this stuff was hard. He preferred not having to think that hard about it, but it seemed that wasnt gonna happen. Oh, and off they went. Well, okay then. Turning to his two fellow kreachers, Goldenpaw jerked his head in the direction of the crowd, "Looks like the annoucements started. Should we listen or nah?"

The Molly looked down at her paws, unsure of...how to proceed. Blue eyes flicking up to see the ShadowClan cat, and surprise flashed through her. Oh, she knew that look...her brother got that look all the time, he was a really anxious one, nervous tummy too. Well, she hadn't been directly effected, and Dad and Papa were in one piece, as were his siblings...so.

"I apologize, I was being rude. It's very nice to meet you. I'm Silverpaw. I have a question, do you really eat Frogs?" she asked.

"You're fine. It's nice to meet you too,,, Silverpaw. and uh haha sometimes. It just depends I guess. I don't at least," the tom mewed in reply.

Bumblestar narrowed her eyes in Twilightstar's direction. Yeah, no, she wouldn't forget that little quip anytime soon. Her warning had just been that: a warning. Nothing to start an argument over, but if the WindClan leader was so inclined...

Whatever. They were leaving, anyway, and Bumblestar wasn't interested in chasing after petty squables. Not right now, at least. She jumped down from the rock and moved to flick Alderstep over the shoulder with her tail.

"ThunderClan!" she bellowed. "We're heading home, let's go!"

Then she could deal with that rat of hers who was apparently intent on causing a scene.
