Lynxheart nodded as Snowbreeze replied, feeling a little guilty for being so firm. It really wasn't his place, but he couldn't stop himself. The tom gave her a weak smile, not feeling overly happy after his conversation with Snowbreeze, if one could call it that. Lynxheart turned away from the she-cat, figuring that he wasn't the one she'd decide to share with. He padded quietly through the forest, flicking his eyes and ears back and forth at every sound. One in particular caught Lynxheart's attention and he paused. The scent of a blackbird washed over him and he dropped into a crouch. Stalking forward, Lynxheart silently pinpointed the bird's location. It hopped along the ground near a bramble bush. The warrior slunk forward, but accidentally trod on a stick. Then crack alerted the bird and it took flight. Lynxheart hissed and launched himself forward, rocketing into the air and managing to hook a claw on the blackbird's wing. He pulled it back to earth with him and the feathered creature flopped onto the ground where he promptly pinned it down and finished it off. It was messy, but at least he caught it.

The Siamese followed after him, her head down and her eyes worried. Now, looking nervous was nothing out of the ordinary for Snowbreeze, but she wasn't quite sure whether or not she should be out here right now. Her own paws seemed to be doing a half-dance as she padded across the ground, since she was still trembling just the slightest bit. Anytime those memories were brought up, she began trembling. "G - goo... good c - cat - catch," The white she cat mewed, giving Lynxheart a shaky smile as she watched him. It had been a good catch, although Snowbreeze hadn't been able to watch the last part - not a good trait for a Clan cat, but one that she sported nonetheless. The Siamese listened, every little detail entering her senses and heightening them, making her aware to the world around her instead of being trapped in her own head. And, the she cat was able to hear a rustling in the bushes. A squirrel - fat from the moons of feasting off of the nuts and berries that green-leaf had had to offer - sat a little ways away, and Snowbreeze quickly became aware of it. Creeping fowards, her body no longer shaking or trembling, instead powerful and ready to go, she sprang. The squirrel's life was quickly ended, the nut it had been eating falling to the ground, and the Siamese put it down. Saying a quick prayer of thanks to StarClan, she buried it and then turned back to where she had walked away from her companion. Was Lynxheart going to think she had just been rude? True, she had been in a hunter's crouch, but that didn't mean that she still couldn't be considered rude. Maybe she should have done something else? He already hadn't seemed too happy with her earlier, had Snowbreeze just made him more upset?

Lynxheart dropped his blackbird to reply with a halfhearted, "Thanks." He was grateful for the compliment but the catch had been sloppy at best. The warrior was hard on himself, but that was no different from all other clancats. He grabbed his bird once more, but before he could moved to bury it with the others, Snowbreeze dropped into a hunting crouch. Lynxheart respectfully stayed put, silently watching her hunt so as not to alert the prey. His Siamese companion caught the animal quickly and killed it. When she turned back to him, Lynxheart gave her a sincere and jovial, "nice catch! One more and I think we can head back." Now that there was no danger of disturbing another cat's hunt, Lynxheart picked up his bird once more and carried it through the forest, still moving quietly so as not to scare off any prey that might be hiding. He soon found the tree he'd clawed, and dug up his other kill to place the fresh one beside it. Kicking dirt back over the two catches, Lynxheart scented the air and turned back to where Snowbreeze was. He trotted back to his hunting companion and let the air wash over the scent glands on the roof of his mouth.

Ravenwing padded through the territory, ears pricked and head held high as she scented the air for prey. She hadn't caught anything in a while, so she was eager to prove herself to her Clan by catching as much as she could now.

The dark she-cat halted suddenly as a familiar scent hit her. She hissed in annoyance and turned away, stalking back through the undergrowth, tail lashing. Of course she'd find it now! She was having such a good day, too!

She finally stopped and sat down, sighing as she curled her tail around her paws. Her luck was terrible! She stared down at her paws, forgetting completely to watch her surroundings.

Whitebird was walking through the undergrowth when she heard a sound. Smelling she realized it was one of her clan mates. When Ravenwing came into view she said "hi."

Ravenwing jumped to her paws in alarm at the noise. She quickly calmed down when she noticed it was just her clanmate. She sighed in relief and breathlessly meowed, "Oh! Hello, Whitebird."
