Antpaw pads by, relieved that finally, Wolfhive seemed to be done with him. However, now he needed to go on that hunting patrol. Without any sort of practice or experience whatsoever. And he had boasted to Wolfhive that it didn't matter, that he wasn't nervous, and that he could still catch prey without practice.

Antpaw pads back and forth in front of the warrior's den, creases forming on his brow. Now what? He was about to completely embarrass himself in front of the other warriors and apprentices. Should he ask his mentor for help? No, he wasn't in the mood to see her. Not after what happened. Should he ask his father? Antpaw peeks into the warriors den to see if he is there.

Hawthorn

Hawthorn's ears pricked and he lifted his head. He blinked and twitched his tail in recognition. Antpaw. What do you need? Hawthorn meowed and stood up. He stretched and twitched his ear.

Was Flowernose not there? Antpaw glances around, he remembered hearing some loud yowling from her, but it looked like things had mostly settled? Was she fine with things now?

"I'm going on a hunting patrol soon, but I didn't learn how to hunt yet, and," He trails off, no, he wasn't about to say that was worried or nervous, he was completely fine. "I just wanted tips. Nothing much." He prepares to pad away if his father tells him that he's busy at the moment.

Ahh, the great relief of a relaxing day. Flamingclaw hated things like…duties, he’d much rather sleep all day. He certainly wasn’t a greenleaf cat. Hot weather was simply unbearable. Leafbare has less prey, but no annoyingly warm weather. In greenleaf, Flamingclaw preferred to do things at night, when it’s cooler…well, doing things in general wasn’t very fun, sleeping was the best.

Hawkthorn thought. Keep your weight balanced, and.. He meowed and paused. Light footsteps. He finished and groomed himself. Hawkthorn stopped and looked at Antpaw. Ask your mentor for help if you need. Isn't that what mentors are for? Hawkthorn meowed and curled up again.

He was right. What Antpaw wouldn't say though, was the main reason he was here; he was here to check if his father and mother were still yowling at each other over him. But luckily, it seemed that nothing bad had happened because of him, and it was nothing important. No more Flowernose treatment.

Antpaw keeps the advice his father gave him saved in his head anyway, nods, and meows, "I'll keep it in mind," then pads away.

Soft fur filled Finbranches mouth, temptation filling his mind. He was returning from his morning patrol, one of the more exciting duties of his new warrior life. Though it was a simple border patrol, Finbranch couldn't help himself from drifting off every now and then to catch some prey. The border was quiet these days after the battle with Riverclan. 'I have to admit, I miss the excitement'. His apprenticeship had been full of adventure and he yearned for more. 'I thought I would be fighting and hunting more as a warrior, but it just feels like im walking all day waiting for something to happen'. The tom groaned dramatically and headed to the warriors den to see if anyone was doing anything interesting.

His gaze peaked into the den from the left wall. He still felt nervous about entering, it felt surreal to be a real warrior now no matter his duties. He was sleeping amongst some of the most respected cats in the clan, and though his nest was crowded to the colder edge of the den like most young warriors, he couldn't help but feel honored to sleep there. 'Oh, speaking of honor!' It didn't take long to spot Hawkcatcher out of the sleeping masses. He and his mentor hadn't spent much time together after his ceremony. It seemed the she cat had been busy during the times Finbranch was off duty. But, he saw this as a chance to catch up with her and report his progress. Maybe she could give him something exciting to do.

His paws slithered through the nests of the warriors den until he reached Hawkcatcher. With a simple mrrow, he attempted to wake her. The tom didn't wait to start speaking either. "Hawkcatcher, im awfully sorry to wake you, but I have an awesome idea! I have been a warrior for a moon now, wouldn't you like to celebrate?" The tom lowered to his haunches and starred at his former mentor with anticipation.

It was rarely that the large warrior took a break to rest in the middle of the day like this, in fact, she had only slept at night for many moons now, but when she had been out with her sister hunting and missed a catch due to being tired, she agreed to take a short nap. But after that she would get back to work.

Amber eyes blinked open when a familiar voice spoke her name, and she looked up to meet Finpa- Finbranch's gaze. She got up, expecting for her former apprentice to have come for advice on leading a patrol or training an apprentice he had set his gaze on getting --the usual things she talked about with new warriors-- but it was not his reason for coming to chat with her. Celebrate? Certainly not a thing Hawkcatcher usually did. Being a warrior at last was a worthy cause for celebration sure, but it had become such a common part of her life to train apprentices and see them grow up that she sometimes forgot how big the occasion was for them.

"I suppose." She mewed in a calm voice. "How has being a warrior been so far?"

Flowernose paused, waiting to see if she would say more. Flameheart didn't so Flowernose meowed, How ya doin'?
