Lilacdawn couldn’t help but feel a swell of pride in her chest as she followed Wrenpaw back, watching the apprentice drag the hare with her. As they entered the camp, she nodded towards the elder’s den and said, “Why don’t you take that to the elders? Then you can eat and rest up for tomorrow. We’ll try out some battle training in the morning so you’ll want to get a good night’s sleep. Oh, and Wrenpaw? You did great today. I think you’re going to be a warrior in no time.” With that, she smiled at her apprentice and wandered over to the fresh-kill pile to pick out something for herself.
