Seapaw's ear flickered - an event? Led by Daisyfeather? They weren't sure they'd met her before. He padded over calmly, joining the group. Oh, so it was a hunting event, but kind of like a competition. Seemed fun enough! He stretched out his back with a big yawn, and waited for the vent to begin.

The sound of voices gathering toward the center of camp pulled her attention away from the dusty patch of ground she’d been tracing idle circles into with one paw. Her ears twitched, then perked up fully as the word event carried across the clearing. She stood slowly, brushing bits of debris from her chest with a flick of her paw, and turned toward the commotion with cautious curiosity. A hunting challenge? That was… unexpected. But maybe a little exciting, too. She crept closer to the gathering cats, hovering near the edge of the forming crowd like a leaf caught on the breeze. Her gaze found Daisyfeather at the center, the she-cat’s voice a little shaky but earnest as she explained the rules. It wasn’t a complicated system: points for prey, teams, a race against the sun. However, even if the rules were laid out in front of her, Gladepaw’s chest fluttered with nerves. Her claws flexed against the dirt. She hadn’t been trained to hunt yet. Not beyond clumsy crouches and a few half-hearted practices in camp. But stars, she wanted to try. Her long-furred tail twitched anxiously behind her as she listened, trying to absorb every word Daisyfeather said. Team leaders, tallying points, starting at sunhigh. Her eyes flicked to the sky instinctively. That wasn’t too far off. Did she even belong here, if she couldn’t bring anything back?

Still… there was a soft sort of thrill blooming under her ribs, the way there always was when she imagined being useful. Doing something that mattered. Bringing home prey like the older apprentices. Being part of the team. She shuffled forward just a little, enough to be seen but not enough to draw attention, and cast a glance around at the other cats that had already gathered. She might not know how to hunt properly yet… but she could watch, right? She could learn. Maybe she could even help carry prey back, or keep tally, or do something. And if she was lucky… maybe someone wouldn’t mind showing her a thing or two.

Fallenspirit dipped his head briskly in greeting to Spiderpaw. Then his head turned when he heard a familiar voice. One from just a few days ago. The tom's icy gaze raked across Shineclaw and the apprentice he had brought with him. Hm.

"I suppose," the tom mewed flatly. He didn't particularly have any issues with the tom, but they hadn't exactly gotten off on the right foot either. Maybe this would mend a bridge.

Appearence: A light gray, long-haired she-cat with green eyes and markings along with a yellow flower beside her ear.

Daisyfeather was excited to see how many cats were interested in her little game! She really wanted to see how this would play out. So first she needed to assign teams and team leaders. Obviously having the leaders being warriors!

"Atten-Attention everyone! I am going to assign te-teams now so... uhm... find your teams when I say! Also I am assigning warrior team leaders to keep track of you team's points and stuff..uh... thanks?" She spoke awkwardly- she was a horrible public speaker, "So, team 1 will be Sprucepaw, Firepaw, Spiderpaw, and Tatteredstones. Tatteredstones is the team leader. You are the... the red team! Team 2 is Shineclaw, Fallenspirit, Seapaw, and Gladepaw. Shineclaw is the team leader. You are the blue team! Team 3 will be- uhm, will be Spottedclaw, Frigidpaw, Pikepaw, and myself! I will be team leader. We are the yellow team! Team 4 is Waterpaw, Dewpaw, Egretswoop, and Deerspark! Egretswoop will be team leader. You guys- guys uhm will be the green team.. uh and finally team 5 is Wildfoxglove, Wormbite, Marigoldpaw, and Breezepaw. Wildfoxglove will be team leader. You g-guys can be the pink team. Good luck and get hunting! Meet back here at sundown with you prey in seperate piles- extra points if you find a flower that is your team color!"

If you find a flower that is the team's color it will be 2 points
You can not get more than 2 points for finding a flower, even if you get multiple
Be fair, don't catch more than 2 prey per post
Team leaders, your job is to keep track of how much prey your team gets, feel free to just straight up ask.

Tatteredstone nodded slowly as she listened, tail twitching slightly. She'd be the team leader huh? What a way to boost that competitive spirit. She pushed herself up onto her paws before she went looking for the other three that would be on her team, three apprentices and her. Hmmm. She stopped next to the partially bouncy apprentice while looking around for the next two that were in the red team.
