Despite her current rank, the medicine apprentice’s oriental-shaped ears swerved upwards from the voice of Bumblestar echoing throughout camp; blue eyes twinkling in interest with the mention of mock battle training. Mock battle training, huh? She never heard of that before. Then again, she didn’t even know much about fighting, but she suspected that this would help her with training in any given way if she wanted to be prepared for the cold depths of the wild. Rolling her shoulders, the young calico surveyed her way out towards the gathering cats, placing herself right beside the familiar ticked blue-gray tabby pelt of her mentor and flashing the molly a quick, quirky little grin before focusing back up towards the direction of Bumblestar so she could listen for what team she would be placed into.

The calicos ears pricked up from the small patch of sun she was laying in, opening her eyes with curiosity. Mock battles, huh? she got to her paws and stretched, her tail swiftly moving to the right balancing out her sore foot. Could be a good warm up for whats to come.. she thought, grimacing slightly thinking of the inevitable large scale attack or defensive battles between Thunderclan and Shadowclan, and Thunderclan and Riverclan. She swiftly made her way over to the gathering cats, sitting back down to give her chest fur a quick wash while she waited for Bumblestar to explain the rules and assign teams.

Okay, cool. An uneven number, but she could work with that by adding herself onto a team. "Let's head out." With a wave of her tail, Bumblestar led the gathered group out of camp.

She didn't go to any specific location, just to the heart of the territory, where the trees grouped close together and the canopy blocked out much of the sunlight that grasped for the forest floor.

"Okay, I'm gonna split you guys up into two groups!

I'm joining you guys to even things out."

Without missing a beat, Bumblestar quickly scaled the tree in front of her and took a seat on the upper branch. "Here's how this is gonna work. We're practicing tree ambushes today, as well as how to fight 'em off in case the other Clans ever somehow miraculously try this out themselves. Owl's'll find a spot in the branches, while the Badgers will go pick out a spot no more than two tree lengths away to lie in wait. On my signal, the Owls will launch an attack from above, and it'll be the Badgers' job to fight us off. Then we'll switch roles. Now go find your spots so we can get started."

Jaggedface smirked. She could fight them off, she knew that. But the cats on her team and the Owl team didn’t, so she had to prove it. The massive she-cat turned, immediately, the apprentice known as Fawnpaw caught her eye. She went through names in her head and remembered that the apprentice was in her group, so, she took off in the direction of the young cat. Stopping in front of her, the heavily scarred chocolate-point dipped her head. “I’m Jaggedface, you must be Fawnpaw.” she said firmly, lifting her head. Her monotone voice hid if it was a question or a statement, she’d let Fawnpaw figure that out. She might as well get comfortable, seeing as they were going to spend a couple of tail-lengths together
