Re: Prophecy Journey for Thunderclan. (Private)
Brackenclaw- He/Him, 25 moons old, Thunderclan Hornet. Purrks: Just a Scratch.
Brackenclaw would think as he listened to his companions. They seemed to be tired but they were now out of the borders and as they continued walking as he thought a bit more his orange eyes caught sight of something that would be great it was an abandoned Twolegs Den Brackenclaw would then say. "What about this we would allow us to stay out of the elements here." Brackenclaw meowed. As they approached the den would begin to reek of Riverclan maybe this was where they retreated to. Though the scent is stale at least. "I know it may stink due to Riverclan scent but at least we would be out of the weather." Brackenclaw meowed to the two. (Sorry guys kinda got a plan that I wanted to do here if that's okay.) @ twizzypaw @ korok

Re: Prophecy Journey for Thunderclan. (Private)
Lavendersong's black ears perked as Brackenclaw's declaration, pointing her gaze to where he had picked up on the Twoleg Den that was nestled along the horizon in the distance, perfectly placed just before the trees and foliage cleared into an open field. Overgrown with vines and weeds, the den seemed perfect minus the RiverClan scent. Scrunching her nose in an attempt to vacate the fishy smell from her nostrils, the radiant queen glanced at Raggedear and Brackenclaw as she began padding towards the den, "Better to smell like fish than to be somebody's prey tonight!" She chimed jokingly, picking up her pace as she darted in front of the twoleg den. With a powerful brace of her hindlegs, Lavendersong leapt up onto a ledge and poked her head inside the den. Turning her head back out to her clanmates, she winsomely called out to them, "Looks abandoned, and smells questionable... why don't I take a closer look?" She purred, her tail lashing as she jumped through the opening and into the den without hesitation.

Raggedear nodded at Brackenclaw's suggestion and Lavendersong's comment. "With the smell of those fish-eaters still lingering, it's probably safe, but we should stick together." He suggested, nose wrinkling unfavorably at the stench of RiverClan. It was getting stale, sure, but ugh. He doesn't know how they can stand to be around themselves. Shaking his head, he leapt through the gap after Lavendersong, eager to rest so they could continue their journey.

Brackenclaw would rush after the two cats. "Wait up you two! What if there was something dangerous in here?" Brackenclaw called out his intimidating voice booming out. Brackenclaw would rather he get hurt or face the danger aside from the two prophesied cats. After all the prophecy spoke nothing of him in his mind Brackenclaw was simply here because Bumblestar trusted him to get them to the destination and back safely. However, if for whatever reason danger was too much and he perished at least the cats Starclan deemed important would survive to hopefully complete the mission. Brackenclaw didn't want to risk the other two like he was willing to risk himself. Not with so much on the line. The Clan back home were counting on them to do this after all. @ twizzypaw @ korok

Re: Prophecy Journey for Thunderclan. (Private)
Lavendersong paused right as Brackenclaw's commanding voice broke through the silence. Flattening her elegant black fur that had bristled from being startled, she turned as the hornet entered the two-leg den after them and smiled bashfully. He was right, his job was to protect them and now was not the time to be headstrong or brave. They needed to be smart and rational. The glossy furred maine coone flashed Brackenclaw an apologetic, bashful glance as her icey hued eyes widened innocently, "You're right, I wasn't thinking. My apologies..." Lavendersong cooed softly as she gracefully circled around and positioned herself behind Brackenclaw so that he could lead the way.

Raggedear stared at Brackenclaw in surprise as he bellowed out behind them, one paw lifted off the ground as if he were going to take another step. "Relax, Brackenclaw. We're just as trained as you to protect ourselves if somethin' is hankerin' to give us some trouble." He mewed with a twitch of his ear, tone friendly. "But I appreciate your concern." He did not fall into step behind Brackenclaw like Lavendersong, but he did slow down a bit to allow the pair to stick close by while he explored inside. There appeared to be some old, tattered twoleg bedding inside as well as some left over moss nest from RiverClan. He wrinkled his nose. He hoped he wouldn't have to sleep in that. "Do ya reckon there's any place in here that doesn't smell like rotten fish?" He growled while rolling his eyes.

Re: Prophecy Journey for Thunderclan. (Private)
Lavendersong simply smiled at Raggedear's retort, brushing herself slightly against Brackenclaw's flank as she walked slightly ahead of him. She cast him a soft and soothing glance with , as if to let him know that it was okay and she understood. Despite the hornet's intimidating air and intensity, Lavendersong knew Brackenclaw was just doing what was best for the prophecy and following Bumblestar's instruction.
Lavendersong chuckled, waving her feathery tail in front of her nose to waft the smell but to no avail, glanced at Raggedear and shrugged her shoulders, "At this point, we might not have a choice..." The alluring she cat purred, slowly padding over to the leftover bedding and pawing at it hesitantly, her misty eyes wide with reluctance as she stepped her paws one by one into the bedding while doing her best to hide her disgust.

Re: Prophecy Journey for Thunderclan. (Private)
Brackenclaw- He/Him, 25 moons old, Thunderclan Hornet. Purrks: Just a Scratch.
Brackenclaw knew Raggedear and Lavendersong could handle themselves but the hornet decided to explain his thought process. "I know you two can remember Raggedear you and me worked together to fight the Foxes. But regardless of if you can handle yourself or not you two are the cats that Starclan asked to complete this journey. Therefore if it ever comes down to a choice between me or you two I won't hesitate to put myself in the line of fire before asking either of you two." Brackenclaw would explain towards his travel companions the depths of his conviction to see this through even if it meant he had no choice but to pay the ultimate price. Brackenclaw honestly didn't see anything wrong with this thought process even if for many it was extreme. Brackenclaw was always ready to do this though for any clanmate but these two were far more important. As such Brackenclaw needed them to recognize their importance in case such a thing came to pass.
After Brackenclaw finished his declaration he would hear Raggedear ask if there is somewhere that didn't smell like fish. Brackenclaw couldn't say he blamed Raggedear. Riverclan was quite the rancid smelling clan honestly Brackenclaw couldn't understand how they could stand to be around one another but still this was better than being out in the elements. "I apologize for the inconvenience but at least we are out of the elements for once. We probably won't get another chance to be in such a sheltered place for awhile you two rest I'll stand guard for now." Brackenclaw would tell the two before dipping his head respectfully and hopping back out of the twoleg den to go patrol the area diligently leaving Raggedear and Lavendersong alone in the twoleg den for now. @ korok @ twizzypaw (Sorry if this is a mess my mind has been kinda fuzzy today.)

Raggedear stared at Brackenclaw with a concerned frown for a moment before breaking out into a purr, stopping to nudge the Hornet with his shoulder. "Aww, shucks, Brackenclaw. You're just as much a part of this prophecy as the two of us." He mewed with a glance at Lavendersong. "And you're right. We are out of the elements. Let's just get some rest so we can head out early." With that the ragged tom plopped down in some old, tattered twoleg bedding and almost immediately began to snore.

Re: Prophecy Journey for Thunderclan. (Private)
As the poised she cat slowly sat back on her haunches in her smelly and unfamilair nest, Lavendersong slow blinked her brilliant eyes as Brackenclaw spoke, nodding slowly in agreement with a look of gratitude strewn over her gentle maw as the tough and rugged ThunderClan Hornet spoke with conviction. His dedication and strong beliefs was certainly admirable qualities to say the least. Smiling warmly in agreeance at Raggedear, Lavendersong watched curiously as Brackenclaw left to guard their den for the night, feeling a slight twinge of guilt. How was he going to get any rest? The graceful queen, cloaked in a flowing pelt of deepest midnight, began to give her fur several deep licks. Maybe she would check on Brackenclaw later. Stretching one final time, Lavendersong let out a small and hushed yawn before she dozed off to sleep while curled tightly around herself.
