Orchidmoon twitched her ears with intrigue as Dawnstar explained the new rank - specifically how to earn one. Fascinating. The molly turned towards Vixensnarl, a hint of a mischievous smirk on her face. "It sounds like you'll have to watch your back, hmm?" The older molly chuckled. If she were to strip the rank of anyone, she wouldn't target a cat who had previously been her apprentice. She wasn't that cruel, and besides, Vixensnarl had never done anything to irritate her. Perhaps she would challenge Badgerscar, or Softpelt. Neither of those two had stuck out to her, though she was smart enough to recognize that they must be skilled in some sense in order for Dawnstar to grant them which such a rank. She would have to prepare herself... hm, she had some thinking to do. But before she could explore those ideas, she needed to sit through a warrior ceremony. Excellent; far too many apprentices went missing before completing their training, so seeing a young cat become a warrior was always pleasing.

Robinscratch was very interested in what dawnstar was saying. “Get those dumb thoughts out of your head.” She muttered to herself,”You are a Queen, you nurse kits, not lead your clan.”

Fiercefire liked that idea. If he stepped up his game, he could earn a rank maybe.

Cloversun didn't much care about not getting the new rank. The only privileges she could see where getting to boss other warriors around. She didn't need a title to be a great warrior.

As her mother kept speaking, addressing whiny brats, and Brackenfire wasn't exactly... Worried about losing her rank to any ambitious furball. Chances were, Softpelt wouldn't last a moon as Enforcer. Sucks to suck, but that was the game. She glanced a thoughtful look over to Cougarivy. The tabby felt no need to fight the other molly for a higher rank. Soon, though, someone else clearly would. She briefly remembered her victory of the she cat in one of the events. The Commander was lucky today.

Red’paw he-him

Red’paw was quite disappointed at not getting the role. Really didsapointed actually. But, Dawn’star had shown her reasoning and he couldn’t help but agree. He had done a poor job when he had been asked and he could have done better. He didn’t think he’d do the duel though. He knew how skilled Shadowclans warriors are and he knew he probably couldn’t beat one just yet. Maybe someday though.
He’d keep trying though, any future tests or trials would be taken and he’d jump at any opportunity to be one of Dawn’stars chosen. He was foolish to think he’d get it first try and only half way through his apprenticeship. He couldn’t say the warriors that got this new rank didn’t deserve it, they did, and they would be good at it, he could tell just by looking at them.

Hearing Dawnstar call Pigeonpaw for a warrior ceremony caused a sour taste in the white she-cat's mouth. The apprentice had run off during their hunt without listening to any sort of instruction, and if it hadn't been for Spiritfire's quick reaction in making a plan, the tripod would have been facing the beaver alone. Well, whatever, if Dawnstar wanted to reward her for her recklessness, so be it. The cat could die as a warrior for all Spiritfire cared. Less competition that way.

An excited tingle coursed down the mottled she-cat's spine. Cougarivy was quick to excitement but nothing got her going quite like the promise of a good fight. She suddenly found a true benefit to acquiring this rank on top of the obvious title: she'd be the target for duels and, better still, they'd be screened by Dawnstar herself so they were sure to be a good fight! She couldn't suppress, nor did she really care to, the smile that crossed her face and only widened as Dawnstar continued. As commander, the only cats who could challenge her were other enforcers. That would surely make the fights more likely to be good ones but overall less likely to be challenged; a minor drawback but overall little could dampen her mood.

The meeting only got better as Dawnstar called for her apprentice for her warrior ceremony. Cougarivy wasn't a prideful cat but there was a fire about her apprentice that she'd always appreciated and she was excited to see the young cat moving into her warriorhood, and confident that Pigeonpaw, even missing one of her paws, would serve Shadowclan well.

Doekit’s jaw dropped once she listened to Dawnstar and her eyes sparkled.

Woahhh, the enforcer rank sounds so cooool!!

She was practically buzzing with excitement during the entire explanation of the rank and how to acquire it. She could’ve leapt with joy once she heard apprentices might soon be able to get it! Now that, that gave her a set goal.

I’m gonna train and be the best Enforcer ever! I’ll get that rank and make papa proud of me! I’ll be awesome just like him and the rest of them! Enforcer Doekit! It just sounds amazing don’t you think? Even nightshiver would be proud of me!

Doekit grinned at the most likely unrealistic goal that she had as she listened on. Her ears flicked once she heard Somebody named pigeonpaw.
