Leechscar's fur fluffed up making the already large tom larger. The noise was skull rattling, however, as there was little he could do about it they had to continue patrolling. He had heard Frostpaw's words right when the woodpecker started its racket, so he didn't need to worry about her marking the borders. However, the noise created a new problem.

Looking over his broad shoulder, Leechscar saw that Frostpaw looked stiff with fear. He caught the scent of her fear and scowled as he backtracked and walked up to her. He briefly pressed his pelt against hers and leaned down low to reach her ears. "Relax, it's just the loud woodpecker. Nothing dangerous just annoying." He grunted. The gray warrior didn't want to set a paw closer to the border, but it still needed marking.

"Come on, the border still needs to be marked and it'll go faster if we do it together." Leechscar urged with a gentle nudge of his head. "I won't let anything bad happen to you." He promised and then walked forward to reach the edge of the border. The noise seemed louder now closer to the border and quite frankly it was killing his sensitive ears, but he ignored it to the best of his ability and started marking the left side of the border leaving the right to Frostpaw. If the molly was too slow or didn't move he'd do the other side himself.

Leechscar sighed, ears remaining pinned against his head, as he finished his side and then marked the other side of the border when he noticed Frostpaw gone. As soon as soon as the scent was strong enough, he quickly made his way back to camp.

Annoyance lashed through Hawkfur. He waited too long for Thrushfreckle, and now they were going to be late. If the cat decided to show up half-way trhough the patrol, Hawkfur couldn't guarantee he wouldn't tear an ear off. Nonetheless, he would still get herbs for Lightningstorm.

Hawkfur lead Snowpaw out to the border they had once toured, glancing at his apprentice. "You remember the descriptions?" Purple star-shaped blooms for borage. Yellow or white dandelions for coltsfoot.

Hawkfur parted to his jaws to scent the air, gratefully picking up the scent of borage nearby. "Stay close, okay?" He called to Snowpaw. Hawkfur traced the scent to a bush, and sticking his nose in it gave him view of a few purple flowers. He reached down and tugged at the plant near the roots, tearing some stems off while leaving the rest of the plant for a future patrol.

Moving on, Hawkfur trained his blue gaze on some yellow flowers near a tree. As luck would have it, they looked close to what Lightningstorm described. He plucked a few and looked back to see how Snowpaw was doing.

Sunpaw waited for no one as she speed hopped towards the windclan border, at least she hoped she did. Mr spider was heading off in this direction anyway so it had to be right! Sunpaw hasn't been to any of the borders yet so seeing windclans first was alright in her eyes. She wasn't entirely sure what to make of this border, she liked the sight of a bunch of flowers, and one thing she liked about it was the flowers. There were so many that she could shove them all in her fur, she would look all pretty! No wait, she couldn't do that now they weren't here to collect pretty flowers they were here for herbs! "Collecting herbs, weere collecting herbs!" she sang as she immediately went to work searching for the aforementioned herbs.

It had been a while since Ashcloud had gone to this border, not counting when he trained Wildpaw, but given what happened when he trained Wildpaw he was a little worried. To add to that he was going to have to babysit a warrior, or who needs to prove themselves again. "Now everyone, try to stick close together and not get too close to the border lines. There is plenty of space around here before we get near it and we are still in the Thunderglade." Ashcloud warned while trying not to look at anyone in the eye, so instead he looked in between the two. He was skeptical that nonsense wouldn't occur but he prayed that it didn't get himself hurt as a result of it.

One thing Ashcloud hated more than cats was bees. It had been also a long time since he had collected honey and he was trying to recall if he was sent here as well to get honey. "Do you know how to gather honey Wildpaw?" Ashcloud asked before looking at Flowerpaw. "Flowerpaw you can go get sticks." He huffed out before looking back to the cat he was very concerned about. There was no way this kid knew how to do it at all so he started to walk off.

"Come I will show you how." Ashcloud said looking back at Wildpaw without waiting for the kid to say if he knew how or not.

Bumblestar tucked her head briefly beneath Violetfreckle's chin, and then the patrol was off. She stuck closer to Violetfreckle on the way to the border, only breaking off once she spotted what they needed.

Borage was an easy find - purple flowers, like Spiderthroat had mentioned, and because he'd said either the root or the flower, she decided to just grab both by wrestling the whole plant out of the ground, clumped soil and all. Would be easy enough to wash off in the stream in the medicine den, anyway.

Being with Bumblestar certainly made patrols a bit more manageable, though to be honest, Violetfreckle had been itching to leave camp for awhile. Leaving alone wasn’t quite a viable option anymore, after everything that’s been happening. So, she’d been left to quietly pace around and tidy around camp. It was the least she could do.

Right, herbs. Burdock, marigold, cobwebs. After some looking, sniffing, and digging, Violetfreckle came back with 3 burdock root, 1 marigold, and 4 cobwebs. Geez, she felt like she was going to sneeze with all these cobwebs hanging on her fur. She side-eyed Bumblestar, mouthing a "Don’t say a word" around the herbs in her mouth while, honestly, barely biting back a snort herself.

After the visit to the Starry Meadow, Dustbunny led him to the Thunderglade. Padding through the tall grass she paused near the line of trees sat up ahead. "So this the Thunderglade, its ThunderClan and WindClan's border. You must never cross that line of trees." She pointed her tail towards the location. "That our border mark. We haven't had any problems with ThunderClan recently, but you must always keep your guard up with them and any opposing clan." She briefly explained.

Vinepaw followed Dustbunny through the Thunderglade, the tall grass brushing against his fur. His eyes darted around, soaking in the sights and sounds of the unfamiliar territory. When Dustbunny stopped near the line of trees, Vinepaw halted beside her, a mix of curiosity and respect in his gaze.


Dustbunnys voice was firm as she pointed her tail towards the trees. “So this is the Thunderglade. It marks the border between ThunderClan and WindClan. You must never cross that line of trees.”

Vinepaw’s gaze followed the direction of her tail, his eyes locking onto the shadowy treeline. The thought of crossing that border made his fur prickle with apprehension. He nodded, absorbing her words with the seriousness they deserved.

“We haven’t had any problems with ThunderClan recently,” Dustbunny continued, “but you must always keep your guard up with them and any opposing clan.” Her tone was a reminder of the vigilance required in their role as warriors.

Vinepaw glanced back at Dustbunny, his expression a mixture of determination and curiosity. He knew that understanding and respecting the boundaries between clans was vital, and he was eager to prove himself worthy of the trust placed in him. With a final look at the line of trees, he focused on the lesson, ready to uphold the peace and protect his clan.
