Tigersplash looked up when he heard Softsky's voice, a soft purr escaping him. Meet the kits? Splashcloud's kits? This would be a good chance to introduce himself to Softsky's friends... The tom eagerly nodded. "Of course." He purred, touching his tail-tip to her shoulder lightly in a friendly gesture. "Lead the way." He meowed, rising to his paws and shaking off his pelt.
Softsky smiled and padded toward the nursery. Just before she was able to poke her head inside, Oakblaze burst out with Frostkit dangling in his mouth. O-Oakblaze? She mewed, noticing the worry in his eyes. Whats wrong?
Oakblaze stopped quickly to avoid crashing into Softsky and... Another cat. It's Frostkit. He mewed, trying not to sound worried, for fear that he might make Frost panic. I'm just taking her to the medicine cats den. Splashcloud is in there too, with Flutterkit. It seems that they both...can't see. He mewed softly. But if you want, Rainkit, Palekit, and Ripplekit are in there now. And with that, he nodded politely to her and the tom, and continued toward Berryshines den.
Softsky glanced at Tigersplash before waving with her tail for him to follow her. Maybe the kits want to play. She mewed.
[Next post will be in the nursery]
"Watching the sunset is my favourite way to relax after a day of dealing eith the annoying cats who infest this camp, with all their new-fashioned slang and stuff like that." Moon smiled, realising she was talking like one of the elders. "I don't find you two irritating, of course." @Fadingshadow @Nahbois
Stormwish sat nervously in the center of the clearing, their white tail flicking. They are sitting by the tiny 'river', watching the other Riverclan cats. They don't have any friends at the moment, as they are not brave enough to talk to anyone first. Lying down, in the bread loaf position, Stormwish tucked their paws underneath them and watched everyone through slightly narrow blue eyes.
It had to be perfect- she'd been gone for so long! Sunheart was sure that a nice, fat piece of prey (if he could find one, considering the season) would cheer Floodsight right up. After a few more dragging moments, the deputy finally picked out a slightly plump mouse in his jaws.
Padding over to the warrior's den, he dropped the mouse before calling out, "Floodsight! Why not share some prey? You need to eat so you can recover your strength." A frown etched the tom's face. He was worried about the silvery she-cat. She did not look well when Sunheart had found her, and though he thought her strong, who knows what happened to her out there? "I can catch you up as well."

The dens weren't the same as before. It was fuller, with more nests of all varieties. It was to be expected, after all, they've just settled back into their new camp before Floodsight had disappeared. Even though she longed to be back with her clan, sleeping alone in the wild had made her wary and alert at any noises. A little movement here and there had woken the silvery she-cat from any slumber she managed to muster. She could tell herself it was alright, but somehow, instincts woke her up at every stir that happened in the dens. And it that told her that it was fight or flight.
Floodsight! She could hear a familiar voice call out for her. She blinked once or twice before it registered. It was Brokenstream outside, calling for her to eat. A little dazed, but she appeared in the clearing with a warm smile of appreciation and bumped her friend softly. "Thank you.."
She cleared her throat a bit, but it somehow still sounds oddly raspy. Nevermind. She returned a glance at Brokenstream with slight curiosity and worry. Lost must have happened...Afterall, Stormstar was gone now...but the clan. The clan looked alright? Hopefully... She settled down and beckoned Brokenstream over to sit before sharing what happened. "Oh yes, do tell"
"Of course." He purred, headbutting her shoulder affectionately. It was good to have her back.
Settling down near the edge of the clearing closest to the nursery, the tom's eyes darted hopefully towards the nursery's entrance. He would like for Blueberry and Floodsight to meet soon- two of his closest friends. However, perhaps it was best that it was just the two of them for now. Sunheart didn't want Floodsight to become overwhelmed after only just returning. Another time.
"Here. You eat your fill first." He mewed. Truthfully, he wasn't that hungry, but wanted to make sure the she-cat ate. "Firstly, it's not Brokenstream anymore." A sheepish grin lit his face. "It's, uh, Sunheart now." He said, ears flattening slightly in embarrassment. "Picked it myself." The tom said with an awkward chuckle. "...and, as you know now, Owlstar is leader."
The bengal hung his head briefly, looking forlorn. "Stormstar...she lost all of her lives to a brutal coyote attack. They left the territory before we could avenged her." Briefly, his pale green eyes burned with anger, but it quickly subsided. "Owltalon took her place, rightly so, and now she's Owlstar." Ah, he supposes another thing. "She thought to pick a cat like me for deputy." Another awkward smile. "Can you believe it?"

Brokenstream had nudged the mouse towards her and prompted her to eat. Despite her exhaustion, curiosity and worry, she would've love to hear more than chew at the moment. But the worry look from Brokenstream told her she best to take a bite if she wanted to get better. And a bite she did. It's been a while since she ate a meal that wasn't caught by herself and it felt strangely comforting.
...not Brokenstream anymore..it's Sunheart...
"Sunheart..." Floodsight repeated slowly before her stormy eyes lit up a bit. She repeated it a little more confidently breaking through a crack in her voice. "Sunheart!"
"It suits you," Floodsight responded earnestly but a little calmer than before. The scratchiness in voice didn't allow her to speak too loudly, not that she ever does in the first place. Seeing Sunheart now a little embarrassed, Floodsight took her chance to tease him a little. "Sun...its warm... like you~"
And she meant it in the best way possible. Brokenstream, and now Sunheart, was like a ray of sunshine in RiverClan, always helping out everywhere he can. Her late sister, Sunkit, could've been the same. Strange how the world works, it seemed like everything came in a full circle. It seems like, despite it all, the sun is still looking kindly upon her.
She nodded along with Sunheart's words, and one word struck a cord. Coyote. She flinched a little. The coyote took Stormstar... Floodsight grimaced. If she hadn't ran from a coyote back then, would things gone differently? Could she have helped? It's too late to regret the past now, all the silvery she-cat could do now was to lower her head as a small vigil to their late leader.
"Owlstar is a strong, dependable leader," Floodsight finally responded encouragingly, "And so are you. Give yourself some more credit. If anyone could lead RiverClan, it would be you two."
"So now, Mr. deputy... What would you like to do with this new found power?" Floodsight grinned.
