“I can fix her!”
"Sorry, curiosity got the better of me there when I didn't smell the twolegs on it." Now thinking about it, how good were twolegs at masking their scent? Seldom did she hear cats doing that to themselves and heard tales of how bumbling these giants were. "If it safe can I keep it? Seems like they didn't want it." Adderstrike dawned a playful look on her face. She wanted to have that bucket so badly but was playing her desires behind 'I'm just being silly x3'. "Anyways, good luck whatever happens, I'm going to put the prey away." With that she trotted off.

Hearing his name, Sharkhail walked over to the patrol place and seemed disappointed. If these cats were warriors he would be more than just disappointed but they were paws... Who seemed to need to be reminded of the importance of hunting. "Copperkit, Speckledkit, over here." He said in an annoyed huff. Once they got over to him whenever that would be he lectured them. "Listen, you may now share the name with kits but you got to realize how important gathering prey for them is. Kits will starve quick once weaned off mother's milk, and queens need extra prey to have enough milk to feed newborn kits. I don't care how long it takes, we are going to stay out there till you two get two pieces of prey." He said with a serious tone in his voice. "I will keep you two out there all night if I have to.. And stars, if you don't know how to hunt just say so... I'll teach you two once we get out there."

The first time was a huge shock. The second all but inevitable. Duskleaf approached Sunheart with his head down beside Irisdream. Although the deputy’s words stung like a thousand bees, it’s not like they were untrue. He looked at Sunheart with guilt and shame as he demanded answers. Not a single thing came to mind. Irisdream spoke first, and Duskleaf’s guilt tripled hearing the emotion in her voice. This was all his fault. If he hadn’t taken forever waiting, they could’ve returned with plenty of fish if he hadn’t wasted so much time hoping Speckledpaw would show up. It felt a hundred thousand times worse that he’d dragged his mate into this as well, and Copperpaw being demoted to kit made him feel even more terrible. At last, he finally answered "Listen, there is no excuse…I’m truly sorry, it will never happen again…" Inwardly he chuckled at the fact that this time the screw-up that got him demoted wasn’t quite as bad. Last time he’d only put the entire clan in danger. A desperate attempt to make light of the situation, though his demeanour never became unserious. He was about to turn away and follow Irisdream when Shadowedcall showed up. Oh, it seemed that patrol was happening right now then.

Sunheart's tone was understandable. Tardy patrols reports could be detrimental to the safety of the clan, but hunting by the border was a strange punishment. With two apprentices, too. But if this is what needs to be down, Floodsight didn't disagree and gave her friend an understanding nod before turning to the rest of her patrolmates.
"Looks like we've got another run to make. Come on, let's head out." She softly mentioned. Hopefully they weren't too tired to make another round to the WindClan borders.

Owlstar padded up to the patrol place, herbs firmly placed within her battered jaw. She still believed the herbs to smell funny, and the level of moisture that clung to her pelt was almost unfathomable, like she went for a swim instead of gathering herbs. Her matted fur only tangled further from the thick fog, tightly woven coils and tangles. The leader didn't mind though. She'd put up with her pelt her entire life and there was a reason she kept it the way it was.
"Got yer haul. Hopefully it's satisfactory, eh?" Owlstar nodded to her medic, placing the herbs gingerly at her paws. She then gave an encouraging nod to the brown she-cat before padding away and slipping back into her den.
Adderstrike happily walked to the patrol place with her bounty of herbs. And there was Berryshine. Right she needed to tell the medcat something, so she walked up to her and placed the herbs down. "I found these Berryshine, but I saw a nice patch of coltsfoot I couldn't gather up all myself when I found it.... Would you like to go out with me to gather some more of them sometime?" She said with a soft smile on her face, "It would be nice to have just a walk some times." With a friend...? If she wanted to leave that flower patch alone to do its flower stuff that was fine as well, maybe they could do something else? Adderstrike probably should do more than work all day, maybe.

Rainpaw trotted in behind Eaglewing and approached Berryshine. She purred in greeting, touching her nose to her friend's affectionately before setting her herbs down at Berryshine's paws. "Here you go, Berries!" She purred. "Here's to hoping you don't have to use them again too soon." She added solemnly, touching her nose to Berryshine's ear in a show of support. "There seemed to be a good bit out there! Let me know if you need me to head back out!" She added, this time a bit more chipper.
Whispy trotted back to camp behind Owlstar eagerly. She was barely able to contain herself while she waited for Owlstar to set her herbs down before stepping forward to offer her's. Whispy glanced at Adderstrike, waiting patiently for them to say what they had to say. Oh. Oh dear. She wasn't expecting Adderstrike to strike up a conversation. The pale gray she-cat kneading the ground anxiously, dipping her head to both the herbalist and Adderstrike. "I-I um...I'm s-so sorry but uh..." She looked between Adderstrike and Berryshine, taking a pace back to give them space out of respect. "W-When you're done...I-I just have a quick question is all." She mewed, feeling a bit unsure of herself. But she knew she'd be kicking herself if she lost out on this opportunity to ask what these herbs were for.
