Being sick was not something Hollowpaw would wish upon his worst enemy, actually. So, congrats, Risingstorm! You're safe from the illness! He coughs harshly, gross stuff coming up with it, and Hollowpaw has to fight to keep himself sitting up. Why weren't medicine cats immune to the illness? They should be. That seems like a flaw in this whole system. Still, the herbs they have here are limited, and they don't have anything for those damn rat bites yet either. Boo.......

Well...this camp felt as though it was getting smaller and smaller. Taking a second to gaze at those around him before rolling his head, lobbing his shoulders so they'd crack. "Alright you lot. Cmere. If you're feelin worse than you think you should lemme take a look at ya. Hollowpaw too, you'll get examined first an than if you're up for it I'll have you help me out." he stated, slapping the cold dirt beside him. He didn't have too much experience but he'd like to help eleviate the pain somehow.

"Single file. One at a time I'm a decent healer but I ain't a miracle worker. May need some of you to help expand the nests, grab sm moss and maybe even some additional herbs too if you seem fit enough."

As the tom waited for the felines to gather, he turned to look at Mantiskit and Mitekit. Ears lowering as Mantiskit spoke up about her missing her apprenticeship. Oh. How to go about this. "Well...probably they did, yeah. But. I mean. I know for sure your sister and brother Spiderling and Cricket didn't. Since they broke some rules they gotta get held back..." a pause as Spiderthroat attempted to find the words to console the kit. Anything to soothe what was happening. "Mitekit c'mere. See, Mite ain't an apprentice right now either...nothin's wrong with that. Just because you're late doesn't mean you won't be able to become an Warrior with the lot of them." he reasoned.

Mallowpaw didn't know when she had lost consciousness. She didn't know how long she had been surrounded by darkness, floating peacefully in an empty void with no thoughts or ailments or fears. Just emptiness. A comforting emptiness. All she knew was that when awareness came, in small wisps that penetrated the darkness, she didn't want it to leave.

She was at the quarantine camp; that was the first thing her foggy mind noticed. The next was a brown tom tapping her shoulder, gesturing for her to follow him. Mallowpaw stumbled to her paws, swaying heavily. Her legs felt weak, and she was worried she might faint again. The world wasn't entirely in focus. She shook her head in an attempt to rid herself of the feeling and followed unsteadily after the apprentice.

He led her to an empty nest. It had obviously been hastily made, and Mallowpaw realised the apprentice- Pinepaw, she remembered now- must have assembled it when she came (Spiderthroat had carried her here, right? He must have told him to tend to her). The realisation made her stomach sink. She didn't want to be taken care of, especially not by an apprentice younger than her. She could make her own nest; she could look after herself. No she couldn't. Not when she could barely walk; not when she felt like she was about to black out again.

She should probably thank him. He had helped her, after all, even if he had been told to. "Th-thanks," Mallowpaw croaked. Hopefully Pinepaw would leave her alone now and not try to help further. The nest, although rough, looked soft, and right now she could lay down on the hard ground. Anything to get rid of this woozy feeling, of the fear that she was going to collapse for the second time this day. She didn't want to face the embarrassment of it again, feel judgemental eyes scoring her pelt again. All she wanted was the bliss of sleep- whether natural or from passing out, it didn't matter to her. If a natural sleep was even possible with her cough and sore throat and everything else.
