Thistlethorn threaded carefully, keeping his eyes on the prey. Once he was close enough, he pounced, his strong hind legs carrying him up and onto the branch the bird was on. Mistypaw's eyes were as wide as saucers. "Thistlethorn, that was so cool!"
She managed to quickly regain her control. "That was quite a nice demonstration, Thistlethorn. Thank you. I learned a lot. Your pouncing looked so correct."

Thistlethorn smiled, but felt that it was somewhat... strange. "You know, it's fine to get excited and express your feelings," he said, walking over and setting his blackbird by her mouse. "It might hurt more to keep your feelings bottled up. Then again, I guess that's hypocritical coming from me, huh?" He said with an awkward laugh.

Mistypaw smiled a little, but kept her face mostly straight. "It doesn't hurt to act mature," she answered, "In fact, I think it's more correct to."

Thistlethorn shrugged. "Well, if that's what you want to do, then I won't stop you," he said, sitting down and licking a paw. "But, please remember when to loosen up and relax, alright? Many warriors find ways to enjoys themselves besides buying themselves with their warrior duties and being stern all the time."

Mistypaw blushed a little at the title and thought for a moment. "Maybe that way?" she suggested, motioning away from the distant camp. "There'll most likely be more prey father from camp, where the smell of cat is strong."
