...Well she certainly didn't like that answer. Narrowing her eyes slightly at Rosehawk, the leader would just take note of it and put it to the back of her mind. At least now she seemed to recognize that she had been put in charge of the patrol, though her asking if every cat was ready had her snorting. "...Well, we were waitin' for you, so yeah we've both been ready," came the chuckle from the leader. A flash of remembrance regarding her head injury resurface, and the leader couldn't help but wonder if it was coming back... hmm, something to think on later.

The leader glanced towards Daisypaw, who seemed about as confused as Stormstar felt by this whole interaction. The gray-furred leader blinked, then looked back at Rosehawk waiting for the she-cat to, well, lead the patrol.

Huh. Y'know, he hadn't seen Baneberry in awhile... where could she be..?

"Mmph... seems the kid's not showin' up," he mused gruffly, glancing at Amberflare, giving a cordial nod to acknowledge her pleasant smile greeting. He tried to ignore the pang of concern that lanced through his chest, looking as stoic as ever to hide it. "Looks like it's just you 'n me, then. C'mon, let's get goin'."

With that, he led the fellow warrior out into the territory towards Sleepy Thicket.

Jaggedpaw nodded his head when the warrior mentioned they would give Sneezepaw a few more moments. What felt like forever the other apprentice didn't show. He turned to Cascadingrapids. "Are they going to show up?", asked the one eyed aplrentice. He didn't wnat to get yelled at by a high rank for not continuing on. Maybe it was time to go without them. That wasn't up to him though, so he kept quiet.

Stagheart slowed his pace as he ducked into camp; by now the worst of his embarrassment had passed from the fumble he'd made (that hopefully no one but he and the stars had seen), but thankfully he at least had three pieces of prey to make up for that, and Amberflare had caught some herself. Hopefully help counter the fact that Baneberrypaw hadn't showed. Oh, yeah, about that... when was the last time he'd actually seen her? Now that his focus on his duties were done, the reminder that his apprentice hadn't showed her face in awhile brought back all the thorny, worried feelings he'd often get from the realization. His maw fell into a frown.

As he approached Stormstar, he paused by the fresh-kill pile, dropping off the three pieces: two voles and one squirrel. He glanced behind him, making sure the pleasant flame-point warrior Amberflare had been following behind before padding up to the gray-furred leader. He cleared his throat and pushed the sloppy blunder he'd made to the back of his mind to haunt him for another day.

"Heya, we both caught some pieces. But just so ya know... Baneberrypaw never showed up. Haven't seen her in awhile for trainin', either," he added reluctantly, the flash of guilt and worry in his usually-stoic blue gaze betraying his inner thoughts. His voice had dropped low, as if worried about other Clanmates hearing, not wanting to spread alarm unless it was an actual concern. "I was wonderin' if she was just avoidin' it 'n was tryin' to find her to talk 'bout it, but... if she didn't even show up for patrols, I'm gettin' the feelin' somethin' might be wrong. You... you haven't seen 'er, have ya?" He didn't want to say the word 'missing', that m-word feeling bitter on his tongue before it even left. But... his gut feeling told him otherwise. And he figured Stormstar was reading between the lines.

Relief washed over Amberflare when Stagheart had finally returned, though it had only been for a few minutes, being alone in a eerie place like Sleepy thicket had scared her out of her fur. Keeping pace, she managed to calm herself down from the reasonably frightening experience but unfortunately the shame of her not so perfect kill(though mostly covered up now) burned her pelt. What would cats think of her if they saw it? No, no, she had one pristine catch and she had caught the other so why would she be ridiculed? Stagheart seemed a bit flustered as well so maybe it was just the enviroment that was causing some problems..wait that was weird-

Shaking her head at the absurb thoughts, the flame point gently placed her squirrel and mouse on the prey pile after Stagheart's deliver as they entered camp., making sure they were precisely placed to draw attention to the former and hide the latter from the public eye. Show case her achievements, conceal her faliures. That was just how she liked it and she'd make sure that was all anyone saw. 'That should do it..' After insepcting her work, Amberflare cast a glance to over where Stagheart was reporting to Stormstar. Brows furrowed with concern and pity at the mention of Baneberrypaw. The tabby warrior appeared to be greatly troubled by it...poor thing. Attempting to catch his attention, Amberflare offered a tender smile, hoping to offer some comfort to the tom.

Adderstrike heard her name called and walked over. Once approaching the medicine cat, Adderstrike notice that she was a tad late. That being she wasn't the first cat here, it was Softpaw. Well oh well. Now all they needed was Foxleap and they could get this show on the road. "Foxleap! We are ready to go!" Adderstrike called out with a purr. It was going to be nice to get out of the camp, it felt like she had been in it for too long.

Sneezepaw practically sprinted across the clearing to the other cats, panting when she reached the destination.

"so.. so sorry..."

she got out in a wheeze, nodding her head to both cats apologetically.

Rosehawk slunk into the clearing, hissing irritably around the tansy between her jaws as her thick pelt caught on the thorns. She managed to free herself, the thorns tearing out tufts of her fur.

Shaking out her pelt whenever she had been freed of her plant prison, Rosehawk spotted Cobwebfern and made her way over to the medicine cat apprentice, setting the tansy at the other Bengal´s paws.

´´Here,´´ Rosehawk mewed respectfully, ears twitching. ´´Stormstar and Daisypaw should be bringing back some daisy.´´
