"eep!" she squeaked out as Pinepaw started talking and then yelling. The small molly folded her ears back, shrinking back from Pinepaw. "I-uh, EEP!" she squealed, only louder. She turned her head as some tripod clanmate started screaming and throwing a fit. "Loud loud loud loud loud," she whimpered, shaking her head. Soon enough, the shouting stopped and Pheasantpaw was able to calm down. And just in time for new warriors to be named. "T-Treet-tiger!! R-Ris-sings-storm!!" she cheered, green eyes wide with joy for the new warriors. It was a good thing, so why would Pheasantpaw need to be worried right now?

Pride swelled in the Calico as he heard his apprentices name get called. Nose twitching as he shot the molly a rare quick side grin before a quick head nod. His first official apprentice that had passed. Two more to go. Fine warriors although this one made him scratch his head slightly. Suspicious somewhat, or maybe they were just creepy he couldn’t tell.
As the name was given the Calico sat up straight, inhaled deeply and went ”TREETIGER!” he barked. One and only one bark. Filled with every feeling of pride and joy he could muster. A toothy grin now plastered on his maw.

But these fingers and these palms
Full of love despite the scars
They show indisputably I have so much more to grow
Oh, I can change, I can evolve
I can get up when I fall
I'll live contentedly, I don't need a reason why
Standing tall and standing strong
I have found where I belong
In the arms of somebody, there is no more need to cry
Rper far too tired to format at the moment (will be done later… maybe), Swanpaw timidly hung within the mouth of the apprentice’s den. She hadn’t attended a meeting in moons, the last one was her apprentice ceremony if her (and Dark’s) memory served correctly. They were chaotic things, scary and often filled with loud noises and chaos. So she avoided them. This time, however, some new warriors were named so she cheered for them both “Treetiger! Risingstorm!” she called out a single time, making sure not to raise her voice too much. Any attention directed towards her would frighten her terribly. Other cats were scary.

He Was Cheering The Warriors Names, But Then There Was WolfPaw. He Was In The Medicine Den With Him. A Tripod Too! Then His Words Hit Him... Oh. Right. He Had To Suck It Up And Deal With It. Wolfpaw Could Have Mudhound. He Could Go With Larkswoop! Then A Wave Of Sound Boomed In His Ears... The Half Stand Half Sit He Was In Didnt Help. He Swayed From Side To Side, StarClan... It Was Loud. Ringing. His Fangs Bared As He Slipped Onto His Useless Paw. He Hissed. No. He Had To Stay Strong. He Had To Keep It Together. His Eyes Squeezed Shut, And He Managed To Flip Onto His Other Side. His Tail Curled Near Him. Should He Just.. Run Away? Go Find His Mama? Go Cry To Her About How Terrible This Is? Missing Some Hearing, Half His Sight, A Patch Of Fur And Flesh On His Back, And All Use Of A Leg. How Useful. He Curled Up And Faced Towards The Medicine Den. Poor Wolfpaw. It Wasnt About Him. It Wasnt Him. No. It Was ALL Him. His Hackles Rose As He Slipped Into A Sitting Position, And Got Up. He Slowly Limped Away From The Crowd Of Cats In Pain. He Sat Down A Few Fox-Lengths Away From Ths Others With A Snort.

Ah... What was this? A meeting? Warriors??? And Kestrelpaw hadn't been personally invited?! Acting like this was the biggest calamity to hit earth, the patterned molly side-eyed her denmate. "You were totally gonna say the wrong name, I know it." She huffed, turquoise eyes intent on Swanpaw's face as she leaned into the other feline's personal space. "You see, I kinda have like, super cool mindreading powers. Ask Bumblestar and Wolfwhatshisfa-" Wait, no, she had to act cool. "Wolfhive." BLEH. SHE HAD SAID HIS NAME. Wolfwhatshisface was better. He was kinda cool though, nobody tell Papa.

Larkswoop had been sitting a little further back in the crowd when she spotted Silverpaw padding away, sulking. The warrior blinked, compassion softening her green gaze that had been filled with guilt. Sure, she may have been the one to save Silverpaw's life from that dog-fox, but Springlight and Wolfhive had been the cats to save him from his wounds. Besides, Larkswoop couldn't shake off the thought that it was her fault that her former apprentice had been wounded so, so badly.
Getting to her paws, the ThunderClanner made her way through the crowd towards her former apprentice, sitting back on her haunches as she settled beside him. Larkswoop bent her head to give Silverpaw's ear a compassionate lick before wrapping her plumy tail around his shoulders in a comforting matter.
Larkswoop said nothing to Silverpaw except, ''Heya, Silvs.''
REDHAWK
she/they | thunderclan hornet | 34 moons the collector, the ultimate predator, kitty softpaws
Stars, she hoped for that too. As long as she could remember, ThunderClan and RiverClan had been at each others throats so much that Redhawk wasn't sure who was at fault for everything that had gone on since. Both sides had done a lot of wrong, so much so that it made the hornets head hurt if she tried to think about it too much.
At the mention of going onto RiverClan territory, Red perked up a bit. There could be a lot of cool stuff! Shells, and places she hadn't ever seen... but after a bit she shook her head. "I... I don't want to," the hornet murmured, ears drawing back in shame. It would definitely net her some coward points she knew, but Redhawk had no interest in trespassing onto another Clan's territory - even with the greenlight given to do so. "It's just... I don't know. The thought of my paws on territory that doesn't belong to me, or ThunderClan... yeah..." Red shook her head at the thought, shivering a bit.
She smiled nonetheless though looking back at the two, not wanting to spoil the good mood that Muddy and Raggedear seemed to be in at the thought. She wouldn't fault them for wanting to sniff around the territory, because just like them she was dreadfully curious. But something tugged at her heart, telling her it wasn't right. "Could you... maybe bring a shell back for me?" Despite her convictions in not going around the territory, Redhawk didn't want to let the opportunity of getting a shell pass her by.
Soon enough a few other cats were flocking to them and the hornet offered them all smiles, though slid closer against Muddy. She was content to sink into them as they groomed her ears, a purr rumbling from her and a half-smile spreading across her maw. Two new apprentices, Rosepaw and Ivypaw, that had Red smiling wider. After that Silverpaw was reassigned to Muddy (she grinned more at that and poked Muddy a bit). As Bumblestar called to her about Elkpaw, the hornet nodded to show she understood. Brindlepaw too, hmm? She glanced around for the apprentice.
Just as she was about to excuse herself to greet her new apprentice, the outburst by Wolfpaw caught her off-guard. Wide yellow-green eyes found their way to him... and despite the way her heart clenched a larger part of her felt a flash of anger. Why were cats starting to speak about ThunderClan like it the one she'd grown up in? That time had died long ago, replaced with cats who did care, warriors who took it upon themselves to push the Clan forward, and a leader who had the Clan's best interest at heart.
...It all reminded her of Crowpaw...
Soon enough Muddy was off to greet their own assigned apprentice, and then followed Wolfpaw into the medicine den. "I hope he's alright..." she murmured mostly to herself. She nodded towards Raggedear and the rest of the group around them before excusing herself and padding over to Brindlepaw having caught his smile and nod, keeping her twisted paw off the ground. "Hello, B-Brindlepaw," she purred in greeting, taking a seat next to him. "Once t-the meeting is over, we c-can get sss-started on finishing your t-training!"
At that Redhawk cast one last worried glance towards the medicine den before looking forward once more. Two new warriors! Her heart swelled with pride watching both - she had showed Treepaw the borders, and Fallingpaw had grown a lot since the day she had caught him outside camp. Soon their names came, and Red grinned wider. "Treetiger! Risingstorm! Treetiger! Risingstorm!" A good choice of name change - it suited the tom much better.
With that handled, Bumblestar stepped back, running her tongue over her jaws as she considered how to approach this next thing. She'd had to handle two demotions already, but she didn't want the Clan to think this was that.
"Alright, last thing, then I'll let you lot get to bed or to the medicine den if you need to be looked at." Since she wasn't on the Stormcrest - no point in hopping back up if she was just going to turn around and walk straight back down - she had to raise her voice to be better heard. "On the way home from RiverClan's camp, Drizzlecloud told me she was no longer interested in being ThunderClan's medicine cat and was stepping down from the rank. It isn't my place to go into her reasons as to why, but regardless of what they are or whether you're told, it doesn't change the fact she's served as your healer for the past four seasons."
She'd been there from the start, a crucial stepping stone in helping Bumblestar rebuild her Clan from the ground up. "Her resignation doesn't place her any lesser than she was before. I expect all of you to treat her with the same amount of respect as you've been doing." Bumblestar raked her gaze over her Clanmates. "Anyone caught doing otherwise gets to have a conversation with me."
A pause to let it sink in, before she stepped to the side with a lash of her tail, signaling the end of the meeting
Cottonkit listened with curious, perked ears, sitting in a spot of the clearing closer to the nursery. She'd padded out before she could chant--however, it seemed that the meeting was nearing it's end, and she had arrived too late. Unfortunate..!
