Koipaw snuggled next to the kit.
"I'm sorry." she whispered. "That must make you really sad.." She remembered seeing this kit when she was in the nursery, but Koipaw had been much older. She didn't know who her mom was, although. "Do you want to talk about it? I know it's really hard, but sometimes it can make you feel better.." She hoped she could make the kit feel better...

Silvershade pop their head into the nursery, eyes twinkling with excitement. "Sparrooowwwkkiittttt!" The warrior called out, bouncing as they would fully step into the den. They had brought something again, though this time it was a feather instead of a mouse. Silvershade let out a rumbling purr once they spotted the kit-- they started to approach him.

Nighttuft was sitting in her moss nest, her tail curled around her paws. Her white tail tip was twitching as she relaxed. The queen laid down, paws tucked underneath her.

Gingerkit slowly walked over to the queen, a clear unhappiness written on his face. He absolutely despised having to ask for help from any of the queens in the nursery, but what else was he supposed to do if he really needed help?
Sitting down in front of her nest, the ginger tom mumbled something inaudible, his tail giving a twitch in annoyance.

Flyfur watched the visiting cats come and go, wanting desperately to get up and walk about, to chase something, but stayed mostly still to avoid disturbing her daughter Featherkit, tail swishing, ears twitching, and picking at the nest to occupy herself. @amber'light

featherkits pure white body squirmed and she was finally opening her eyes, she cracked them open and then fully opened them, she looked up at her mother with bright red eyes, she blinked and crawled toward her her bright red eyes shining. @Rainquail

Flyfur stopped picking at the nest as her kit squirmed about and turned to Featherkit, briefly grooming the pale kits forehead, a purr rumbling through her.
She saw the unusual red eyes and blinked, cocking her head to the side. No fear or judgement, just curiosity. How odd. How lovely.
She leaned forward and nosed at Featherkit's side. "Hello, my little Featherling. I'm glad to see you've opened your eyes." @amber'light

featherkit, smiled and nuzzled her mother, "I really wanted to see what you looked like!" she purred, featherkit nosed around her mothers belly for milk. she was hungry now...opening your eyes is hard work you know. with that featherkit finally found a place to suckle as she settled down. @Rainquail
