Hickorysmoke's ears perked as they searched through the cove, padding next to peachpaw, taking in account he didn't get the marigold. The tom chuckled a bit and picked the marigold as he padded with Peachpaw.

Still no Brindlepaw, but Hickory smoke had shown up, which was always good.
Ravenfire focused on searching.
She found about what she expected, nothing crazy.
She found cobwebs and marigold, almost next to each other, so she collected as much of it as she could.

[almost forgot to mention that there's an extension 'til the 29th!]
A bit of a sticky little situation had ended with Brindlepaw tangled about in a thornbush, because apparently life hated him. Or his own clumsy, slow paws hated him, and had left him trying to catch up to a patrol with only the vaguest knowledge of where it had taken off to. His glancing about had been in vain, and distracted him so thoroughly from where he was putting his paws that a bramble bush had caught him unawares. After a fierce battle with the offending shrubbery, however, he did make it to Firefly cove. There were still a few thorns in his pelt, but his stumbling had him tripping over a pretty cobwebby old log. Taking his cue from the fluffy white stuff wrapped around the paws of the warriors, Brindlepaw scooped some of the stuff out. His fur was now decorated in multiple ways. Great.

Sunrisepaw grunted as she thrown off and impacted the ground with a thump. The wind temporarily knocked from her lungs. The dilute tortie too deep breaths to steady herself, rising to her paws somewhat shakily. She'd need to take a moment to catch her breath.

[Sparrowpelt]
ThunderClan Warrior
Killer Aptitude T3 | Just A Scratch | Hulk SMASH
Sparrowpelt let his whiskers twitch in response to the curious apprentices' actions. The large tom would swat one of the cattail's, making it swing back and forth in attempt to bonk him on the head. Of course, this wasn't the end of it. The large tom would show Lynxpaw a magic trick as it'd come to a slowing halt. The tom hooked one of his large claws into the brown part, sending fluff from that area of the cattail all over himself and Lynxpaw -- if the apprentice was too close. "Gotta be careful wit how ya handle these plants, they're full'o surprises," he chuckled, before scurrying backwards and shaking the fluff off his pelt. Of course, it'd be lodged into his long fur, but he'd worry about it later.
The warrior would take Lynxpaw to the next area following Lynxpaw's reaction. He could sit back and play in the cattail all day, like a grown kit, but they had business to attend. "This area is called Firefly Cove. In ta warmer moons, these bugs light up all'ver here. Real great fer hunting and some herbs can be found 'ere, too. I actually took Drizzlecloud out 'ere before, on our first date," he reminisced with a small smile, before snapping out of his dream and circling around to see if Lynxpaw had any comments this time.
Lynxpaw jumps when something bonks him on the head, his fur spiking in alarm. He's ready to throw paws with whatever bug landed on him until he realizes it was Sparrowpelt with one of the cattails. Which is promptly showered on him when the warrior drags a claw along it. Oh, Lynxpaw is so getting him back for this. The apprentice follows his mentor's lead, shaking off the fluff he can with an amused huff. "I'm definitely not sticking my face in any strange plants when you're around."
Firefly Cove is pretty, though the cliffs give it an appropriate sense of danger. It's unlikely a cat would survive a tumble off those. "This is near RiverClan, right? I mean, it must be hard for them to get up the cliffs, but didn't this used to be part of their territory?" Of course, Lynxpaw could be wrong. He's only going off vague mentions he heard while he was still a kit in the nursery from warriors around camp.
- Wolfhawk -
- He/They - 13 Moons - ThunderClan Medicine Cat -
- A large dark brown tom with a darker back and lighter underbelly, a missing hind leg -
Wolf is not out as demi yet !!
The large medicine cat really liked how relaxing it was sometimes, but even them something always felt off when he was in his den. Despite it have been his home for over six moons, he still hated it as much as the day he lost his leg in it. He had gotten used to the nagging feeling and his mind screaming to leave at this point.
His head turned over to the entry as Bumble made her way in, and Wolfhawk was about to turn to the herb storage before she spoke. Training? His ears perked up. But what did she need to talk to them about? "I'm all good for training, n whatdya need?" the large brown cat asked, tilting his head to the side
The warmer season is entering full swing, and Hollowpaw finds that he doesn't particularly care for it. Great for herb growth, maybe, but horrendous for him personally. Everywhere he goes it's as if he's left a small bit of himself behind, thicker coat from over the leaf-bare finally shedding in its entirety. Thankfully, with the medicine den perched partially underground the temperatures are much cooler than in the clearing proper.
He's taking a nap, a small break from cringing over the herb supply before he says something about it to Wolfhawk. They have a decent amount. But he can't feel comfortable with just decent. Bumblestar's voice brings him out of his dozing, and peridot eyes blink at her where she stands. He rises to his paws with a yawn, ugh this sudden warmth isn't doing much to help him in staying awake.
"Something the matter?" He asks, not really all that worried - there wasn't any indication in Bumblestar's voice to indicate an emergency so he's not treating the situation like it.
Bumblestar waved a forepaw dismissively. "Nah, nothing's wrong, you're both fine. Just wanna check in on how things're going for you both, work on some combat, 'n then have an important conversation. No one's in trouble. Let's head to the Cove, more room to work."
The walk was swift despite being on the opposite side of the territory. Once they hit open clearing again, Bumblestar glanced down at both healers. "How's training coming along, first of all? All that herby stuff."

He doesn't think he really needs the assurance that nothing's wrong, but Hollowpaw appreciates it nonetheless. It always feels like the next thing he says might be the thing that sets the leader off - the mention of a dream with a RiverClanner comes to mind. So a plainly spoken assurance that this isn't anything relating to a problem is more than welcome. Hollowpaw likes cats that will speak plainly and bluntly. And the promise of combat training is enough to make his ear twitch and his spirits perk up.
First things first, though.
"Herb-y stuff is progressing fine, I think. I know a decent chunk of herbs for different uses, 'nd technique wise I think I'm... fine?" He glances sideways at Wolfhawk. There haven't been a whole lot of disastrous injuries as of late that would require him to learn an entirely new healing method, so on that front he's pretty stagnant. But there's not much to be done there unless he deliberately injures another cat as a means to learn.... which Hollowpaw is not above admitting has crossed his mind once or twice.
Okay, wolfhawk was skeptical on what this 'important topic' was. But until then, he could learn some more fighting moves. Which was a win in his book. The more knowledge in his opinion was better. The tripod nodded, following Bumble and Hollows to the Cove.
Hollows answered the leaders question on training. "Hes doin ok, still got a lot to learn. after the plague and me being sick. Aconite also lent a paw, taught me some more things thar could prove useful," the young cat purred, flicking an ear in turn for his tail (since that helped with balance due to his lack of a leg). "Nyway, whaddya teaching us?" the large cat asked, as if he was a newly made apprentice who just got his name. How was it so long ago already?

Burnedbark nodded approvingly as the cats gathered, noting that Alpinemoon was closer to his age than he initially thought. Good, hopefully that reduced tensions. The reddish-brown tom turned, sweeping his tail to gather the patrol. "Glad to see everycat is here." His attention was drawn back to what Cicadapaw had said. So, he and Beetlepaw were brothers of Butterflypaw's. He glanced back at them both, interesting. He nodded at Cicadapaw's observation. "We've spent some time together, yes." He confirmed, pausing to look back at Cicadapaw and Beetlepaw. "I taught her how to climb. And we've had many...interesting conversations." He couldn't help a small smile at the thought. He didn't say "interesting" to be rude, it was a simply face.
Burnedbark took a moment to dip his head officially in greeting. "It is a pleasure to officially meet you both." He meowed, looking at Alpinemoon and dipping his head to her as well. "You too of course, Alpinemoon." He didn't want his denmate to feel left out here after all. He looked at his patrol, standing tall. This was something that seemed to encourage others sometimes right? "I hope we can all work well together." He stated before nodding decisively and turning to return to leading them to Firefly Cove. This patrol was going to take some time since they needed to teach hunting as well, and he wanted to ensure they had enough time to work with. Hunting was something he was relatively skilled at, so hopefully that worked in his favor.
Upon their arrival, Burnedbark turned to face the -paws again, glancing at Alpinemoon. He hoped she'd jump in as well, things would go faster if they split into teams. "Now then," he mewed coolly, gazing at the two -paws, "what do you both know of hunting?" Teacher mode: activated. He taught Fireflypaw hunting too actually...wait did he teach all of Spiderthroat's offspring something? He mentally shook his head, no. That was impossible, there were more of his kids than he could even count. But he's taught...a good number of them now counting these two. Interesting. Maybe they're just...everywhere?
Alpinemoon followed her group to Firefly Cove. It was probably her third time here. She listened attentively to Burnedbark. He mentioned hunting. That brought "that thing" to the front of Alpinemoon's mind.
She remembered that she was trying to teach Beetlepaw how to hunt a while back. That first training session. It started horribly wrong. Alpinemoon winced due to Burnedbark's question. She quickly looked away. "Oh no....I hope Beetlepaw isn't going to break down like last time." She thought as her muscles tensed slightly.
