She wasn't usually the one to see the darker side of things, so she tried to switch her attitude and look on the bright side.
It definitely wasn't unusual for Turtletail to simply approach an unknown cat and attempt to befriend them. She'd done it multiple times; sometimes she was successful in becoming their friend, and sometimes she wasn't. But thanks to the countless attempts to become cats' friends, she had gained many friends from those encounters. She wasn't sure if Wolfglare would become a friend or just an acquaintance, but she had her hopes high. Since most of her current friends were helping with their families, which Turtletail didn't have, that left her alone. Until, of course, she found someone to chat with as they trudged through RiverClan territory.

Talkative, aren't you? Wolfglare thought thaty He feline was actually quite interesting. Usually he didn't think this that early on after meeting a cat, but she certainly was one to catch his attention quickly. And he liked her choice of words about the mud. It prompted him to actually say something. "Well, I mean, that's what this looks like." He meowed, lifting a large, mud-soaked paw. His long fur was slicked together in different tendrils by the mud, sticking outward like spines on a hedgehog. The tom stuck out his tongue in disgust and placed his paw back down. He could to wait to get back to camp and clean up. "If he said no Shadowclan could've ripped him to shreds." Wolfglare mumbled under his breath. Of course he did truly believe that. One, Shadowclan cats were too noble to do anything of the sorts, and two, the clan didn't have the strongest leadership as of now in his eyes.

Brindlefawn sat down near a stream, her fur wet from a recent swim, which was dangerous because of her disability, but Brindlefawn was somewhat reckless, and didn't care. If a normal cat could do it, so could she. That was the rule she lived by, and wouldn't have it any other way, as she tasted the air, which smelled of fish, mud and plants, and was full of the noises from the stream, a rippling gurgling babble. She smiled and raised her head, her blind eyes half closed and fur standing up, until she caught RiverClan scent and relaxed, trying to pinpoint where it was coming from.

Snowpetal did a backflip underwater, then she swam to the surface. "Oh, hello Brindlefawn!" She purred. "I was just swimming around. The waters' great today, its nice and warm." Snowpetal dived back under the surface and swam in one place for a bit, then let herself float back to the surface. "I see you've already been in the water..." Snowpetal commented, noticing Brindlefawn's soaked pelt. Snowpetal floated there and waited for a response. I love being in RiverClan! She thought quietly. Its so wonderful! The water is great, and there's no other Clan that likes to swim or get wet, so we have the River all to ourselves!

Yawning, Rainkit stumbled closer to his mother and squeezed himself in between his siblings, letting out a tiny purr as he fell asleep.

Perchkit turned away from Shardkit's paw and snuggled next to Rainkit, settling down for a nap as well.

He mewed in order for them to turn in his direction. He flicked his tail across the top of the water, sending some flying to the young mollies.

Honeypaw let out a high pitched squeak and started splashing insanely towards Goldenstep trying to drench his head in water.
Applepaw chucked and turned around slapping her tail against the water," That's how you get someone wet, the tail, Honeypaw, not your paws..."
